I recently posted a comment about the crime against foreign workers in the "holy land" and "Allah's house", that is to say in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I decided to search for more news on the net via Google. There, on the top of the list of the first search result, it said in the Indonesia language "TKW Disiksa Sampai Mati, Dubes Arab Saudi Bilang Takdir", or in English "Foreign Female Workers Were Tortured to Death, Saudi ambassador Said It Was Her Destiny" which made my blood boil.

The article said that a female Indonesian worker who had worked as a housemaid in Saudi, had been tortured to death by her employer. Then when the case was presented to the Saudi ambassador in Indonesia, the ambassador said that it was the will of Allah, with no apology given. Read more ...

CAIR's Good Servant, But Hillary's First

When Rep. Joe Sestak won his Congressional seat in November 2006, unseating Republican incumbent Curt Weldon, he was hailed as a new kind of Democrat. A retired U.S. Navy vice admiral, Sestak did not seem to conform to the mold of the doctrinaire leftist that has increasingly come to dominate his party. But in his brief time in office, the Pennsylvania Democrat has dashed any hopes that he could be a true independent. If anything, Sestak has proven to be the quintessential party hack. As such, he has lacked the courage to condemn radical groups that enjoy his party’s support. In 2007, for instance, Sestak accepted an invitation to speak at a fundraiser for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a band of America-hating Islamo-supremacists posing as a “civil rights” group.

When some critics suggested that his decision to appear at the CAIR function was ill-advised, Sestak explained that he had accepted the invitation because he wished to support his local Muslim constituency, and because some 250 of the people who were expected to attend were residents of his own 7th District. “If they’re from my district, I will be there,” he said. “I’ve talked to this community many times and I will continue to do so.” Such an explanation gives no hint that Sestak remotely understands – or even cares about – the Council’s ties to radical Islamists. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's "Education Wing"

Yesterday, the Associated Press reported that convicted Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operative Sami Al-Arian ended his hunger strike, which he began, allegedly, in protest of the Eastern District of Virginia's insistence that he testify before a grand jury investigating the terrorist connections of a Northern Virginia think tank, the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).

Al-Arian is currently in the custody of the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, awaiting deportation to an as of yet undetermined country. His lawyer, however, expects that Al-Arian may still be indicted for criminal contempt for his refusal to testify before the grand jury despite a grant of immunity.

Before Al-Arian was arrested, he was a computer science professor at the University of South Florida (USF). The current Secretary General of the PIJ, Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, was a lecturer at the same university, brought there by Al-Arian to work for Al-Arian's think tank, the World and Islam Studies Enterprise (WISE). Shallah taught Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at USF, through a cooperative agreement between USF and WISE. Read more ...

Another Case of Islamofascist Hypocrisy

On April 28 Muslims Against Sharia received an invitation from Jazakallah Khair & Imran Ismail to list our site on BestMuslimSites.com. We made a banner (on the left), posted it on our site and in less than three days our listing climbed close to the top with rating being 4 out of 5.

On May 1, we received an email from admin@bestmuslimsites.com informing that our listing has been removed because "I really do not support your ideology and do not believe that you are a "Muslim" website per se."

We think that the owners of the site might want to reconsider its name. Due to the fact that there is an Islamist site, a site of organization with terrorist connection, and a site displaying al Qaeda battle flag on its banner are among the listings, BestIslamofascistSites.com would be a lot less misleading. However, it is not surprising when radical Muslims cast Muslims reformers as "non-Muslims".

The Continuing Debate Over "Jihadists" As The Enemy

Last week, the Associated Press reported that the State Department approved National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) guidelines for terminology in defining the enemy created by NCTC's Extremist Messaging Branch, based on a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report "Terminology to Define the Terrorists: Recommendations from American Muslims". In these new guidelines, the term "jihadist" (among others) was not to be used in defining the enemy or its actions.

But this week, it is apparent that these new guidelines are not being reflected in the State Department annual terrorist report and in comments from President Bush. Read more ...

The Muslim Students Association at George Washington University

MSA-GWU has participated numerous times in MSA National’s “Ramadan Fast-a-Thon”along with nearly 280 fellow Muslim organizations (mostly chapters of MSA). The purpose of this event is to raise, through temporary fasting, public awareness of hunger and homelessness in Muslim communities. Recent endorsers of the Fast-a-Thon include:

Myrick's Counterjihad Plan

In mid-April Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC) unveiled a ten-point plan for fighting against jihadist activity in the United States. One would think that Muslims who profess to oppose today's global jihad would welcome such an initiative, but one Muslim leader from Myrick's district, Jibril Hough of the Islamic Center of Charlotte, is not happy. On Monday he charged that "Myrick's latest attempt at fighting terrorism is nothing more than a fear campaign. It is nothing more than a new McCarthyism, or Myrickism. As Muslims, we have become expendable as politicians like Myrick seek political gain."

Myrick responded by inviting the Islamic Center of Charlotte to offer a point-by-point rebuttal to her proposals. And indeed, some specifics would be welcome. What could Jibril Hough really say in opposition to the particulars of Myrick's plan? It's worth going through her proposals to see what he could possibly find objectionable.

First, Myrick proposes to "investigate all military chaplains endorsed by Abdurahman Alamoudi, who was imprisoned for funding a terrorist organization." And her second proposal is to "investigate all prison chaplains endorsed by Alamoudi." Read more ...

Of course, federally unindicted co-conspirator to a terrorist organization - CAIR, is actively working to stifle all discussion of Islam and also issued the same press release.
