MUSLIM leaders in Brisbane will be told of the benefits of guide dogs today as they visit a training centre run by Guide Dogs Queensland.Many Muslims consider dogs to be unclean.
Guide Dogs Queensland wants to alert the 25 spiritual leaders to the benefits of trained guide dogs for Muslims with low vision or who are blind.
The Muslim leaders will learn about white cane training and guide dog mobility and undertake a tour of the breeding and training centre.
