Westerners may find this play strange, but it works well with good-hearted Muslims who used to believe in so-called Allah's law - many of them rejected Sharia Law or at least started questioning its divinity after viewing the drama and movie. This is actually created specially for Muslim world where people are illiterate but simple, honest but ignorant and explosively emotional about Islam and Sharia. The drama is given a shape that suites their psyche, and it works.
