Several Muslims say their lives are at risk because they dared speak out in what has become an ongoing dispute in their community.
Yesterday, one of the people claiming to be victims of ongoing violent attacks, Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed, watched in horror as a car pulled up outside his Panatella Blvd. N.W. home and a man armed with a jerrycan and booze bottle got out, scaled the fence and set his home ablaze as seven children and three other adults slept.
Hours earlier, Ahmed had called 911 after two threatening men came to the door. Read more ...

Canadian Imam who brought human rights complaint against publisher unmasked as Sharia-supporting liar

By Licia Corbella
Earlier this week, Calgary Imam Syed Soharwardy spent nearly two hours with the Herald's editorial board before announcing he would withdraw his two-year-long Alberta human rights complaint against Ezra Levant, the publisher of the defunct Western Standard magazine.
Soharwardy lodged the complaint after Levant published Danish cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that were central to murderous protests around the world by Muslims, including renewed violence in Denmark on Friday.
Soharwardy is trying to take back his complaint, but it's already too late. Levant's resolve is too strong and freedom of expression too fundamental a right to be so easily shrugged off after the microscope of world attention ended up being turned on Soharwardy.

"A Criminal Complaint Might Be in Order"
Muslim women cry foul
Go for it!!

"Three Muslim women in Canada have filed a human rights complaint against Syed Soharwardy, the Alberta-based imam who brought publisher Ezra Levant before the Alberta Human Rights Commission after Mr. Levant's magazine republished the Danish Muhammad cartoons."[snip]
"Although Mr. Levant is sympathetic to the women, he does not support their complaint.
"I'm opposed to anyone being subject to the arbitrary rules and procedures of [Canada's] human rights commissions," he said, though he added that a criminal complaint might be in order."
Go for it!!
