Their actions were aggressive in nature, a reasonable person in a post-9/11 world would come to the conclusion that the authorities should be made aware of these fellows. And that's exactly what happened.
I personally believe these 6 were not a threat. However, I also believe these 6 were out of line, and deliberately provoking the public to see what kind of a reaction they would get. I also believe they were looking for wealth through litigation. I don't believe these 6 are honorable men in any way.
