Typical CAIR sponsored event. A speech by a Muslim convert reinforcing victimization stating Muslims are challenged, life is unfair to Muslims in America...bla bla bla. Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison even claims his opponent for Congress called him a terrorist. OK, maybe you're not a terrorist but you chose to be the keynote speaker for CAIR - an organization founded by convicted terrorists and an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror funding case. Doubt he mentioned that to the kids.
Even more importantly Ellison claims that if people knew more about Islam, there might not have been any controversy over the anti-white, anti-American (to name a few) statements made by Barack Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright.
To top it all off, in response to a question about remarks made by John McCain, Ellison claims that Islam is all about forgiveness even though "they" want to chop you [Muslims] up into little pieces. Interesting choice of words Congressman. Of course asking Ellison questions is off limits for anyone in the MSM so we don't expect any clarification on his statements. Read more ...
