Its high time women in Islam must be given equal rights and not contained and detained in Burkhas and subjected to honour killings. Purdah system existed in some of the Hindus in Rajasthan but the progressive society has slowly rejected the Purdah system. Many more things like dowry, child marriages etc have been abolished by hindu society and reformer like Raja Ram Mohan roy have staunchly fought against it. May be Muslims can follow this model of women liberation.
