Member of the Muslim Brotherhood to speak at UC Irvine, being paid by taxpayer dollars the State of CA does not have.

Our tax dollars at work in a MOST DISGUSTING way at UCI.

Several academic departments and programs (see the end of the forwarded email) have invited a “leading young member of the Muslim Brotherhood from Cairo” to speak on campus on Wed Oct 8, from 1 - 2:30 pm, in the Humanities Instructional Building (HIB) Room 135, followed by a discussion with students at 4 pm in Krieger Hall 200e. Doubtless students will be required to attend this event for their classes - they may even be given extra credit for attending.

This is an outrage. Read the fawning description of the Brotherhood and of the young fighter for “democracy” in the blurb below. Note, among other things, that this fellow doesn’t even yet hold a MA degree. I wonder how many other foreign BA degree -only holders have been given similar platforms to speak to students. But I guess we’re allowed to overlook that fact since he’s an “activist”.
