Austria: HuT threaten minister over burka comments

Of all the people who spoke out against burkas recently, the one who gets threatened is the one who said that she might ban burkas in the future?


A banned radical Islamic organisation has sent a threatening letter to Social Democratic (SPÖ) Women's Minister Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek after she called for a ban on burkas, according to the Österreich newspaper.

The newspaper reported today (Weds) that the Hizb ut-Tahrir organisation based in Lebanon had sent it a three-page email after Christmas in which it condemned the minister's remarks last week and threatened her using the sentence from the Koran: "And know that Allah is strong in punishment."

The organisation's Vienna spokesman Shaker Assem also called "on Austrian Muslims to cease supporting the SPÖ".

Österreich said it had handed the document to the Federal Crime Office (BK), adding that to date there had been no serious investigation of Islamic fundamentalists in Austria.

Website documenting Islamic hate faces death threats

Radicals send photo of headless body: 'We will kill you. Like this'

A recent e-mail to a website launched after the 9/11 terror attacks to document the instances of Islamic violence said simply: "We will kill you. Like this ... "

The message included a photograph of a man who had been beheaded, his body resting chest down on grass and his lifeless head placed in the middle of his own back. Another photograph showed a bloody knife.

But the operator of The Religion of Peace website says those types of threats don't bother him much.

"I don't think anyone who is serious about killing me is going to announce it in advance," the operator, who uses the pseudonym Glen Reinsford, told WND. "Still, one more reason to stay anonymous."

Reinsford's website intends to demonstrate extreme violence is an integral part of fundamental Islam, not merely a means by which only radicals try to achieve "out-of-the-mainstream goals."

Its list of "offerings" from the "Religion of Peace" for a single day this week: In Iraq, a bomb was placed near an ancient Christian church and two were killed; three innocents were cut down by a Taliban bomb in Afghanistan, and in Baghdad Sunni bombers murdered five Shia pilgrims.

The site features a significant statistic: "Islamic Terrorists Have Carried Out more than 14,569 Deadly Terror Attacks since 9/11."

It also keeps readers updated on other statistics. For the week of Dec. 12-18, there were 42 jihad attacks, 182 people killed and 362 people critically injured. For the month of November, there were 139 attacks in 14 different nations involving five religions, with 529 fatalities and 1,075 critically injured.

The list is divided by years. Its many stark descriptions include a report from Nov. 24 in Afghanistan: "Four children are blown to bits when Islamic fundamentalists set off a roadside bomb next to a family vehicle."

Reinsford explained in his "About" page, his alarm came about because of the integration of Islam and violence, typified by the 9/11 attacks that killed almost 3,000 innocent bystanders.

"In fact, some Muslims actually celebrated the attacks, and not just overseas, but even in the offices of the U.S. State Department," he wrote. "There were a few passionless, self-serving denunciations, to be sure, but Muslims save their real outrage for times when a Western leader makes a public statement against veils and headscarves, or someone draws a Muhammad cartoon.

"By and large, most could hardly care less about the thousands of people who lose their lives in the name of this religion each year. It was not for three years, in fact, that there was even a fatwa issued against these attacks. To this day, major Muslim-American groups are reluctant to denounce Osama Bin Laden by name," he said.

Islam, he noted, has been called a "religion of peace" by many, including President George W. Bush, who said, "The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam … Islam is peace."

But Reinsford believes Islam inspires not only "an enormous amount of violence, but an astonishing level of indifference and self-centeredness as well."

"We watched in the months following 9/11, as Muslim-American groups began to act as hindrances in the war on terror and the efforts of Americans to defend themselves. We saw them ignore nearly every act of daily Islamic terror and instead publicize obscure issues and personal slights against Muslims and 'insults to Islam' that are absolutely trivial by comparison.

"Finally, we came to realize that this extraordinary arrogance and self-absorption on the part of the Muslim community, along with an inability to empathize with people who are not like them or engage in the sort of self-critique that leads to moral progress is in no way incidental to the religion.

"There is something deeply, deeply wrong with Islam," Reinsford wrote.

He said the site originally was begun "in the naïve hope" that Muslims just didn't realize the extent of the violence done in the name of Islam.

"Perhaps," he wrote, "if they understood, then they might be motivated to turn the critical eye inward and resolve those far more important issues that leave so many lives in agony and force the consumption of so many billions of dollars in security resources."

However, "we never once heard" from a Muslim condemning the violence.

So the mission was refined to "present the truth about Islam and how it is so tragically different from other religions, including its incompatibility with secularism and Western liberal values," he said.

"The ridiculous level of violence committed in the name of this religion is staggering, despite the many billions of dollars that are spent each year to prevent attacks," he said. "Muslim apologists are constantly telling Westerners that the solution to the violence is greater understanding and tolerance for Islam. But isn't it the killers and their supporters who need lessons in tolerance and understanding … not their victims?"

The website notes the horrific toll from Islamic attacks, with more victims each year than there were in all 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition.

"Islamic terrorists murder more people every day than the Ku Klux Klan has in the last 50 years."

In the e-mail interview, Reinsford told WND his is a one-man operation that costs several thousands dollars a year to keep online. The website came about to make a point about the extent of violence; not necessarily a reaction to the terrorism "but rather to the apathy on the part of Muslims."

"While I would say that most Muslims probably don't agree with Islamic terror, the things that do seem to genuinely upset them instead (such as cartoons and hijab bans) seem relatively trivial to me. Early on I realized that there is something about Islam that really skews priorities."

His work essentially is to simply list the incidents of violence.

"The data for the list of attacks is compiled daily from Internet news sources. I try to stick with the more reliable reports – and I do strive for accuracy, although I'm sure the list is far from perfect," he told WND.

"For one thing, there is an awful lot that is missed, usually because it isn't reported. The genocide in Darfur is probably the best example. I don't have very many victims listed even though there have been plenty."

"Those committing the violence do so explicitly in the name of Islam, which Westerners should find alarming given the rising assertiveness on the part of a growing Muslim minority within our own borders," he said.

The sword and whip mentality in Islam also causes him concern.

"How can we expect Islam to be of benefit to the West when it can't even produce countries that attract Muslims?" he wondered.

His website notes attacks have been documented in Iraq, India, Sudan, Algeria, Afghanistan, New York, Pakistan, Israel, Russia, Chechnya, the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria, England, Thailand, Spain, Egypt, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Pennsylvania, Denmark, Germany, Denmark, Canada and a long list of additional nations totaling more than 60.

In a previous interview with Chadd de las Casas at Associated Content, Reinsford said he was prompted to start the work, which he does on a volunteer basis, after a Islamic attack on a Hindu temple in India about a year after 9/11.

The massacre generally was ignored by the Western media, "and it occurred to me how common Islamic terror is that such a brutal incident should receive only passing attention," he said.

He also credits the Council on American-Islamic Relations, an Islamic advocacy group that was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror funding case. He said he was "repulsed by their lack of moral perspective."

The website also honors a "Dhimwit" of the month, which for November was Gen. George Casey for emphasizing the military's "diversity" after a Muslim activist, Nidal Hasan, allegedly shot and killed 13 adults and an unborn baby at Fort Hood in Texas.

An earlier honoree was President Obama, for "reaching out" to the Taliban and Iran as well as a variety of other acts.

Reinsford said his work is based in factual reporting, and he tries to avoid editorializing.

"Not all of Islam is bad, and certainly not all Muslims (or even a majority, for that matter) are bad people. Don't put the agenda before the truth, and always be willing to recognize when your own worldview needs to be adjusted," he said.

But he said, "No other religion inspires the sort of terrorism that the 'religion of peace' produces.

"We hope that this list offers a dose of perspective against so-called 'Islamophobia' and other Muslim complaints that are petty by comparison. As the site Bare Naked Islam puts it, 'It isn't Islamophobia when they really are trying to kill you.'"

Not content with that, Great Britain will lobby insistently for your release from custody so that you may freely roam British streets - and the halls of Westminster.

If, by contrast, you are a duly elected representative in the democratic government of a country to which England is bound in the European Union, and you speak about the undeniable - though mulishly denied - nexus between Islamic doctrine and jihadist terror, Great Britain will slam her door in your face.

Saturday Morning Confusion about Islam!

For anyone who is not yet hip to the true nature of radical Islam I would like to give a few examples here on just what sort of a problem we are facing, and will continue to deal with in the foreseeable future.

I saved the best for last so make sure you read all the way down!

The extremist Muslim speaker Omar Bakri Muhammad has declared Paul McCartney “the enemy of every Muslim” due to his decision to perform in Israel in honor of the country’s 60th anniversary.

In an interview with the British tabloid ‘Sunday Express’ Bakri said, “If he values his life Mr. McCartney must not come to Israel."

"He will not be safe there."

"The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”

The Syrian born orator, defined by CNN News as a friend of al-Qaeda, was excommunicated from the UK and now operates out of Lebanon, where he broadcasts hate-filled sermons over the internet.

The Sunday Express wrote that sources associated with the former Beatle claim he was shocked by the threats against him, “but refused to be intimidated.”

Saudi Arabia’s religious police have banned selling cats and dogs or exercising them in public in the Saudi capital, because of men using them as a means of making passes at women, an official said.

Othman al-Othman, head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Riyadh, known as the Muttawa, told the Saudi edition of al-Hayat daily the commission has started enforcing an old religious edict.

The reason behind reinforcing the edict now was a rising fashion among some men using pets in public “to make passes on women and disturb families,” he said, without giving more details.

Othman said that the commission has instructed its offices in the capital to tell pet shops “to stop selling cats and dogs”.

The 5000-strong religious police oversees the adherence to Wahabism - a strict version of Sunni Islam, which also forces women to cover from head to toe when in public, and bans them from driving.

A college has renamed the traditional Christmas and Easter breaks in a bid to avoid offending students from other religions. (i.e. Muslims)

The college’s new calendar shows that both of the traditional holiday periods have now been re-branded as ‘end of term breaks’.

Critics have complained that the decision by Yorkshire Coast College is nothing more than ‘political correctness’.

Tory MP Robert Goodwill said:

‘I have heard that some people refer to the Christmas period as the Winterval, which is worse. This is absolutely barmy.‘We are a Christian country and, to be honest, religious tolerance in this country is about respecting other people’s religious beliefs.’ ‘School terms are traditionally separated by Christmas and Easter and they should be referred to as such. ‘They are petrified that they offend the minority but what they are doing is offending the majority. ‘It’s political correctness gone mad and I am disappointed.’

Mickey Mouse has made it onto the Muslim hit list!

Sheikh Muhammad Munajid claimed the mouse is "one of Satan's soldiers" and makes everything it touches impure.

But he warned that depictions of the creature in cartoons such as Tom and Jerry, and Disney's Mickey Mouse, had taught children that it was in fact loveable.

The cleric, a former diplomat at the Saudi embassy in Washington DC, said that under Sharia, both household mice and their cartoon counterparts must be killed.

Mr Munajid was asked to give Islam's teaching on mice during a religious affairs programme broadcast on al-Majd TV, an Arab television network.

According to a translation prepared by the Middle East Media Research Institute, an American press monitoring service, he said: "The mouse is one of Satan's soldiers and is steered by him. "If a mouse falls into a pot of food – if the food is solid, you should chuck out the mouse and the food touching it, and if it is liquid – you should chuck out the whole thing, because the mouse is impure."

"According to Islamic law, the mouse is a repulsive, corrupting creature. How do you think children view mice today – after Tom and Jerry?"


"Mickey Mouse has become an awesome character, even though according to Islamic law, Mickey Mouse should be killed in all cases."

By the way, last month Mr Munajid condemned the Beijing Olympics as the "bikini Olympics", claiming that nothing made Satan happier than seeing females athletes dressed in skimpy outfits.

Meanwhile, Muslim newspaprs spread a distinclty unsavoury image of Europeans......

In an article titled 'The Qualities of the European,' the columnist made the following observations about Europeans:

'As for the Europeans' relations with the Creator, animals are better than they are...for they do not permit what is permissible, and do not forbid what is forbidden. Moreover, whenever they find a way to please the Devil, they pursue it...

'Europeans [also] usually smell bad, because they do not wash until it is absolutely necessary. They do not clean themselves properly after urinating, nor do they wipe the filth off [themselves].

Whoever mingles with them notices this characteristic.

If Allah had not given them a cold climate, the stench would have been overwhelming, driving away the birds and withering the vegetation. For real cleanliness means nothing to them...

"Most Europeans today are disciplined, law-abiding, and punctual.

But they behave in this manner not because they believe in [these virtues], but because they are afraid of penalties and fines.

Just imagine, dear reader, a civilized city like London, New York, Paris or Frankfurt with the electricity cut off for even one day.

What do you think the European man, in his elegant suit, and the European woman, with her elegant figure, would do?

"[Imagine] just one day without electricity, during which the surveillance cameras and the alarm systems fail.

In this situation, these civilized people would turn into wild animals that would devour everything!!

"Yes, that is the truth about the West. It is not restrained by religion, values or virtue, but only by fear of punishment and fines. Furthermore, without surveillance, even the police would take part in the thievery."

"As for stinginess, the Europeans are the very model of it. The European is miserly even towards his own wife and children. He may dine with his wife in a restaurant, and then each of them pays their own bill!! And when his son or daughter turns 18, he asks them to pay rent for living under his roof!"

"Just as generosity and courage are man's finest qualities, so are stinginess and cowardice his worst, and the latter are especially characteristic of the European.

He lives for his material interests only, and does not recognize social ties. Father and mother usually mean nothing to him, and even his children - his only interest in them is materialistic."

"Most of the Europeans today are racist, especially the Germans and the French. They despise one another, and [also] despise others. They believe that they deserve a good life, while others have only the right to serve them. Those compelled to live among them experience this racism.

Given an opportunity to crush the others, [the Europeans] would grab it without hesitation. In fact, their history [provides] proof of this evil quality."

* I am not going to comment on this, just be aware what some clerics are saying this about us to create the impression that hurting us is not that bad since we are sub-standard humans anyway!

NOW COMES THE WORST PART...................

In spite of all these bad feelings toward, and bad press about radical Islam, the average Muslim does nothing to help the situation.

Instead of rising up in indignation at the acts of a cowardly few, who are led by a clergy that is fighting a life an death struggle to hold on to their power base and influence, they choose to do nothing and therebye get painted with the same brush!

Muslims must realize that the only way to get along with the West is to integrate to some degree and not keep themselves apart from the majority.

And please don't give me that bullshit about; "In twenty years we will be the majority!"

Keep this up and the backlash might be a whole lot nastier than you can imagine!

That's not a threat, just a prediction.

Dialoge is what's needed, and it has started on a few fronts in Britain where some people are trying to open up lines of communication.

British Muslims are guilty of a “victim mentality” and should take greater responsibility for their lives, a Muslim Labour MP has argued.

Sadiq Khan also said more British Muslims must tackle sexism, learn English and condemn forced marriages.

The representative for Tooting, south London, made his comments in a report for the Fabian Society think tank.

In his report, entitled Fairness, Not Favours, Mr Khan said: “We need to take more responsibility for our own families, ignore those who propagate conspiracy theories, and above all we need to leave behind our victim mentality."

“We must all agree that honour killings are murder and forced marriages are kidnapping.

These traditions have no place here or anywhere.”

By its very nature, Islam makes it extremely difficult for Muslims to integrate. Islam means submission, and the Quran makes it clear that Muslims expect non-Muslims to submit to Islam. Western values are not compatible with Islam. As a result, many Muslims form ghettos and engage in other forms of non-integration.

Hair-trigger sensitivities that have Muslim extremists respond to real or perceived insults with death threats, violent demonstrations, murder and terrorism, make it difficult or even impossible for non-Muslims to believe the claim that Islam is a ‘religion of peace.’

Therefore a high birthrate among Muslims, combined with high (legal and illegal) immigration figures, have Europeans and others worried about the Muslims in their midst.

He also claimed that Muslims in Britain are pre-occupied by foreign policy and not concerned enough about day-to-day political issues.

“Muslims need to recognise childcare is as important as Kashmir,” he said.

Assistant whip Mr Khan said there was no question that people coming to live in Britain should learn English and he criticised “liberal anxiety” about the issue.

“The requirement to learn English is not colonial. English is a passport to participation in mainstream society - jobs, education and even being able to use health services,” he said.

“Having poor English creates multiple barriers to work; it decreases your confidence, makes it harder to gain other skills and qualifications and increases the likelihood of unemployment and your withdrawal from the labour market.”

Meanwhile, Mohammed Shafiq, chief executive of the Ramadhan Foundation, said the “real issues” holding Muslims back were “poverty, crime, racism and Islamophobia.”

He said: “We do not have a victim mentality but are victims of this government’s failure to deal with real issues, issues around poverty, tackling the underlying causes of why there is terrorism in this country.”

He said the Ramadhan Foundation had a long history of opposing forced marriages and so-called honour killings.

Mr Shafiq added there was no conflict between a concern for the fate of Muslims abroad and an awareness of the domestic political issues of Britain.

However Shaista Gohir, director of both Muslim Voice UK and Muslim Women’s Network UK, agreed that more needed to be done by Muslims to tackle sexism, forced marriages and honour killings.

She also agreed it was important for British Muslims to speak English.

Ms Gohir, who is a government adviser on Muslim women, told the BBC: “Not being able to speak English is not only a barrier to integration but is also disempowering for individuals, so I agree that Muslims who do not speak English need to make more of an effort to learn.”

This is all well and good but until we takle the main problem, which rests squarely with the fundamentalist clergy of Islam who refuse to give up the old ways and their control over the popultation, there is not going to be peace between East and West.

Old videos appear to show a radical Muslim named Khalid Al-Mansour helped Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama gain acceptance into Harvard Law.

Civil rights activist Percy Sutton recalled being solicited by a man named Dr. Khalid A-Mansour to write a letter of recommendation to help Obama gain acceptance into Harvard Law in this undated television interview available here [see clips].

"I was introduced to him [Obama] by a friend who was raising money for him and the friends name was Dr. Khalid al Mansour from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principle adviser to one of the world's richest men. He told me about Obama. He wrote to me about him and his introduction was 'there is a young man that has applied to Harvard and I know that you have a few friends left there because you used to go up there to speak, would you please write a letter in support of him?'...I wrote a letter in support of him to my friends at Harvard saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I sure hoped they would treat him kindly."

There are many videos available on the internet featuring a man named Khalid Al-Mansour, who describes himself as an author, scholar and businessman, blasting the Jewish culture and Christianity and preaching the virtues of Islam, reminiscent of the controversial clips discovered of Obama’s longtime friend and former pastor Rev. Pro-Hizbullah, Pro-Hamas Islamists Organize "Free al Quds, World Without Israel" Events

Radical Turkish Islamists organize nights in many Turkish cities under the slogan, "A free Al-Quds, A world without Israel", where Hamas and Hizbullah are glorified, Israel and Western countries demonized, and jihadist speeches are delivered. The frequency of similar events in the mainly Kurdish southeast and east of Turkey with large number of participants are attributed to the intense efforts to Islamize the local population in these areas.

Saudi Arabia: Between radicalization and terrorism

Recent security operations in Saudi Arabia have made it difficult for terrorist cells to maintain operational readiness internally.

However, a large number of Saudi militants are operating in conflict zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan, reflecting the fact that extremism is still flourishing in the Kingdom and work remains to be done.

These militants are choosing to perform Jihad in these zones because the cause is more justifiable for them and because it is easier to maintain their networks in failed states.

In early March, security forces arrested 28 militants in Saudi Arabia attempting to rebuild terrorist cells linked to al-Qaida in the Kingdom. Saudi officials also announced that al-Qaida’s second-in-command, Ayman Al-Zawahiri, sent a message to different Saudi cellular phones urging Saudis to help poor families in Afghanistan and Pakistan financially. Hijacking the Pope's Visit

It's hard to argue that the Pope’s first U.S. tour, which took place earlier this month, was not a huge success. Tens of thousands of Catholics and others came out to various appearances just to get a glimpse of the man. However, one of the Pope’s events included, as participants, members of organizations tied to the extremist Muslim Brotherhood, putting a stain on the Pope’s trip. How did groups with such controversial backgrounds get past handlers, in order to make this unholy meeting occur?

Pope Benedict XVI touched down at Andrews Air Force Base, on April 16th, greeted by the president of the United States George W. Bush, followed by an arrival ceremony at the White House. It was the beginning of an unprecedented Papal visit.

One of the Pope's events was an interfaith dialogue session consisting of 220 religious leaders drawn from a wide range of backgrounds. Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, and others joined in the talk. However, some of those that attended were of a variety connected to radical Muslim organizations.

According to an e-mail sent out by the Muslim Students Association (MSA), "On April 17, 2008 a representative from MSA National met with the Pope Benedict XVI at an inter-faith reception during his visit to Washington, DC." Read more ...
