Obama: Terror groups have 'legitimate claims'
Asserts U.S. needs foreign policy that 'looks at the root causes of problems'

JERUSALEM – The Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist organizations have "legitimate claims" that are being "weakened" by the violence the terror groups carry out, Sen. Barack Obama stated in an interview today with the New York Times.
Speaking with columnist David Brooks, Obama said the U.S. needs a foreign policy that "looks at the root causes of problems and dangers."
The presidential candidate compared Hezbollah to Hamas, stating they both need to be compelled to understand that "they're going down a blind alley with violence that weakens their legitimate claims."
Brooks was speaking to Obama for clarification on an earlier statement the Illinois senator made implying Lebanese militias should be tempered with enticements.
Regarding Hezbollah, Obama earlier declared: "It's time to engage in diplomatic efforts to help build a new Lebanese consensus that focuses on electoral reform, an end to the current corrupt patronage system, and the development of the economy that provides for a fair distribution of services, opportunities and employment." Muslims Against Sharia condemn senator Obama's statement that terrorist groups Hamas and Hizballah have legitimate claims and demand immediate retraction.
It saddens us that seven years after 9/11 a presidential candidate nominated by a major American party does not understand the basics of the War on Terror. If senator Obama does not retract the aforementioned statement, it will prove that he is either naïve beyond the pale or is pandering to terrorists.

Obama's Islamist problem has nothing to do with his upbringing

Democratic presidential candidate Barak Obama's appearance before a large evangelical congregation in Orange County over the weekend underscored an evident imperative of his campaign: Emphasize his Christian faith and put to rest insistent rumors that he secretly adheres to the Islamic creed of his father and youth.
The effort to minimize any grounds for fearing Obama has an abiding, if covert, attachment to Islam has prompted him to risk offending Muslims in order to avoid off-message controversies and photo ops. It is, therefore, curious in the extreme that he is giving a prominent role at next week's Democratic convention to a leader of an organization identified by the Department of Justice as a Muslim Brotherhood front organization and an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism financing conspiracy.
Dr. Ingrid Mattson is the president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), an organization created by the radical, Saudi- financed Muslim Students Association. She will represent the Muslim community at the first-ever interfaith prayer service at a Democratic nominating convention.
Now, we know from the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial that ISNA is one of many Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated groups operating in America. We also know from a Brotherhood document entered into evidence in that case (which is currently being retried after the first prosecution resulted in a mistrial) that, "The work [of Brotherhood members] in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within, and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."
The question is why would Barak Obama's campaign - which has prevented Muslim women wearing headcoverings from being in the background of photographs with the candidate and which recently fired a Muslim-outreach coordinator who had ties to another unindicted HLF co-conspirator - allow itself to be put in such company? U.S. Muslim Brotherhood Employs Standard Rhetorical Tactics in Defense of Former Obama Campaign Adviser
One of the major rhetorical tactics of the global Muslim Brotherhood can be characterized as “accuse others of that of which you yourself are guilty.”
For example, U.S. Muslim Brotherhood organizations with a history of anti-Semitism frequently accuse critics of “Islamophobia” and, while asserting “smear campaigns” directed against Muslims, do their best to demonize and defame their critics. The general strategy is to conflate criticism of the Muslim Brotherhood and/or Islamism with attacks on Muslims or Islam itself. Thus, individuals and organizations who report on Brotherhood activities are frequently called “Islamophobes” and their work products labeled as “anti-Islam.”
The aim of such tactics appears to be invoking the laudatory impulse to defend against genuine defamation as opposed to critical analysis. A further goal seems to be the generation of support for Brotherhood organizations by manufacturing the impression that Islam and Muslims are under attack, requiring the intercession of Brotherhood organizations for defense.

The Muslim-outreach coordinator to the presidential campaign of Barack Obama has resigned amid questions about his involvement in an Islamic investment fund and various Islamic groups.
Chicago lawyer Mazen Asbahi, who was appointed volunteer national coordinator for Muslim American affairs by the Obama campaign on July 26, stepped down Monday after an Internet newsletter wrote about his brief stint on the fund's board, which also included a fundamentalist imam.
"Mr. Asbahi has informed the campaign that he no longer wishes to serve in his volunteer position, and we are in the process of searching for a new national Arab American and Muslim American outreach coordinator," spokesman Ben LaBolt said in a statement. Read more ...

Obama Steers Clear of Michigan Muslims He May Need to Win State

July 16 (Bloomberg) -- The cover of this week's New Yorker magazine may explain why Barack Obama isn't reaching out to Michigan's Muslims.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is shown in the Oval Office, wearing a turban and bumping fists with his wife, Michelle, who is in combat boots with a rifle slung over her shoulder. The cartoon, intended as satire, is a reminder of the dangers of any association with Muslims for Obama, who has fought false rumors that his middle name, Hussein, indicates he was born into the Islamic faith.
Muslim- and Arab-Americans represent 4 percent of the vote in Michigan, a battleground in this year's election. Yet Obama, who has held 13 events in the state during the presidential campaign, hasn't visited a mosque or met with Muslim leaders.
Bill Ballenger, editor of the nonpartisan newsletter Inside Michigan Politics, said Obama, 46, has to strike a delicate balance. The Illinois senator "doesn't have to pander" to such voters, who are likely to back him anyway, though he can ill- afford to "dismiss them in an arrogant fashion." Read more ...

In all the brouhaha over the New Yorker’s satirical cover cartoon of Barack and Michelle Obama, a truly “tasteless and offensive” passage in the magazine’s feature article got lost. The magazine piece quotes Obama’s recommendations for how to stop jihad, which he had previously published in a local Chicago newspaper eight days after 9/11. It’s a self-parody of blind, deaf, and dumb Kumbaya liberalism:

Obama Camp Rejects New Black Panther Party Endorsement, After Removing Web Posting
Barack Obama's campaign has rejected the support of the New Black Panther Party, after removing an endorsement by the group from its Web site Wednesday.
Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor issued a statement rejecting the Panther backing, and told FOXNews.com: "The page in question has been removed from our campaign Web site. It's our policy with any content generated by a group that advocates violence."
The blogosphere was buzzing Wednesday about whether his campaign planned to remove the Panther posting, just one day after the Illinois senator delivered a speech calling for improved race relations in America.
The New Black Panthers, who inherited their name from the Black Panther Party of the 1960s, had the page on the Obama campaign's public forums. The group's message said it is backing Obama because he "represents 'positive change' for all of America. Obama will stir the 'Melting Pot' into a better 'Molten America.'"

"Ой, мама: Обама!" - обмирают американские девчата при появлении на сцене смуглого стройного мужчины в уже привычной униформе: клубный пиджак, белая сорочка без галстука и микрофон, с которым у Обамы эротические отношения. Слушательницы регулярно теряют сознание на его митингах. Другие, как пятидесятники, начинают говорить гласолалиями.
Мне лично слушать его скучно и смешно, и я бы охотнее слушал Жириновского. Но Обама завораживает миллионы американцев своими сладкими речами, которые надо слушать в сопровождении органа и в которых много слов о "надежде" и "мечтах", но мало специфики.
А та, какая есть, живо напоминает о том, что он самый левый член американского Сената, левее даже вермонтского социалиста Берни Сэндерса, толстопузого социал-демократа Теда Кеннеди и, уж тем более, Хиллари Клинтон, которая в некотором отношении консервативнее республиканца Джона Маккейна и, возможно, будет приглашена к нему в вице-президенты, хотя, наверное, все же нет. Журналисты в массе своей освещают Обаму как минимум некритически, а часто и с обожанием. Придет момент, когда они присмотрятся к нему поближе. И вот что они, например, увидят.
Более 20 лет Обама является прихожанином чикагского храма, который называется "Объединенная Троицкая Церковь Христова". На ее сайте доктрина Церкви характеризуется как "систематизированная теология освобождения" и говорится, что она ведет свое начало к публикации в 1969 году книги доктора Джеймса Коуна "Негритянская власть и негритянское богословие". В оригинале было "черная власть" - Black power, - но по-русски это звучит не очень хорошо, а термина "афроамериканская" в 1969 году еще не было, поэтому я осмелился перевести скоромным словом "негритянская".
Основоположник Коун учил, что черным Христианам зазорно следовать за "белой церковью", потому что она не поддержала их борьбу за равные права. Это чисто вранье, но речь здесь не о Коуне, а о церкви, в которую ходит Обама.
Церковь, в которую ходит Обама, заявляет, что "мы - африканский народ и храним верность своей родной земле, материнскому континенту, колыбели цивилизации", то есть Африке. Ее нынешний настоятель преподобный Джеремайя Райт сетует на "высокомерие белых" и называет США "Соединенными Штатами Белейшей Америки". Все эти мысли можно найти в трудах основоположника Коуна, который писал, например, что "пора уже белой Америке помолчать и выслушать черных людей… Все белые несут ответственность за белое угнетение… С богословской точки зрения, Малькольм Х был не так уж далек от истины, когда называл белого человека "диаволом"…
В январе на сайте журнала American Thinker появилась статья, в которой приводились многочисленные нападки Райта на белых и на евреев. Райт называет Израиль "расистским" государством и призывает забрать оттуда все иностранные инвестиции. По его мнению, истинный избранный народ - это афроамериканцы, которым следует обособиться от американского общества. В прошлом году издаваемый Райтом журнал под названием "Труба" удостоил Луиса Фаррахана премии за заслуги в "борьбе за социальную справедливость".
Да, это именно тот Фаррахан, который возглавляет вздорную "Нацию ислама", чей основатель Элайджа Мохам-мед учил, что белого человека вывел в пробирке злой волшебник. Райт - давний друг Фаррахана, несколько лет назад они вместе ездили в Ливию на поклон к полковнику Каддафи.
Сейчас имеются все шансы, что американским президентом станет прихожанин церкви, которая считает, что Африка ей ближе, чем Америка, и чтит такого человека, как Фаррахан. Обама заклеймил Фаррахана за антисемитские высказывания, но не отмежевался от Райта, который женил его и крестил его дочерей. Но требовать, чтобы человек открыто критиковал своего духовника, так же бессмысленно, как требовать, чтобы он публично критиковал свою жену. Жена на той неделе несколько подвела Обаму, заявив, что сейчас она "в первый раз" в жизни гордится Америкой.

Если она искренне считает, что до этого ей нечем было гордиться в своей стране, до того, как страна не начала благосклонно относиться к кандидатуре ее мужа, то почему бы не признать это открыто? Имеет право. А мы имеем право знать взгляды потенциальной первой леди Америки.
Но это заявление беспрецедентно для жены ведущего кандидата в президенты Америки. Мишель Обама тоже принадлежит к пастве Джеремайи Райта, который проповедует афроцентризм. Я бы спросил у Мишель, гордится ли она Африкой, а если да, то с какого момента. Я подозреваю, что дольше, чем Америкой.
Ее признание, что раньше она Америкой не гордилась, не вызвало в США особого скандала. Возможно потому, что в американских СМИ господствуют единомышленники Мишель Обамы, которые не нашли в ее словах Ничего сенсационного. Сами такие. Теперь понятно, почему сам Обама отказывается носить значок с американским флагом. Опять же, имеет право. А миллионы дебилов имеют право за него голосовать.
Если Обама левее вермонтского сенатора Берни Сэндерса, который открыто называет себя социалистом, то кем прикажете считать самого Обаму? Защитником капитализма? Тогда почему в Интернете висит старая видеозапись предвыборного митинга Сэндерса, на которой Обама агитирует за него, зажав в
кулачке свой верный микрофон? Активистов предвыборного штаба Обамы засняли с флагом, на котором красуется портрет Че Гевары. Это вполне органично в применении к политику, который связан с Чикагской марксистской рганизацией.
В 1996 году, когда Обама баллотировался в Сенат штата Иллинойс, его поддержало чикагское отделение организации "Демократические социалисты Америки" (ДСА). Через некоторое время бюллетень ДСА сообщил о том, что Обама был на ее собрании и пел осанны одному из кумиров Чикагских левых - видному социалисту Солу Менделсону. ДСА характеризует себя как самую Крупную социалистическую организацию в Америке и главный Американский филиал Социалистического интернационала.

В 1996 году, когда Обама баллотировался в Сенат штата Иллинойс, его поддержало чикагское отделение организации "Демократические социалисты Америки" (ДСА). Через некоторое время бюллетень ДСА сообщил о том, что Обама был на ее собрании и пел осанны одному из кумиров Чикагских левых - видному социалисту Солу Менделсону. ДСА характеризует себя как самую Крупную социалистическую организацию в Америке и главный Американский филиал Социалистического интернационала.

Candidates Accused of 'Linking Islam with Terrorism'

Last week, a reporter of the Kuwait News Agency accused Sen. John McCain and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee of "linking Islam with terrorism as a tool to scare up support among US voters, an election style experts describe as 'shameful'." But in her story, Heather Yamour invokes only one "expert" -- a Far-Left professor.
Shameful style? Yes, if measured by Islamic standards and not those of American politics and free speech. Last Monday it was reported that the British government has drawn up a new handbook for government officials that forbids them to use phrases like "Islamist extremism" or "jihadi-fundamentalist" -- instead, police and others must refer to "violent extremism" and "criminal murderers or thugs," so as to avoid giving the impression that anything Islamic is involved in, er, Islamic terrorism. The Candidate Who Can See the Enemy, Can Defeat It

The post 9/11 era has changed the rules of engagement for national security experts and for those who can read the mind of the Jihadists, when it comes to US Presidential elections. While the principle was that the counter Terrorism community should let the voters chose their candidates and select their chief executive first, then offer the expert advice to the President later, unfortunately for that principle, things have changed.
Indeed, since the attacks against New York and Washington and the engagement of the nation in the war with Jihadism since 2001, the selection of the US President can fundamentally affect the survival of the American People. Who would occupy the White House in 2009 will have to make decisions for four to eight years with cataclysmic consequences on the physical security and the freedom of 300 million citizens in this country and eventually on the free world as a whole: For the leader of the most powerful democracy in the world has to be able to know who the enemy is so that all resources are put into action. Short of this ability to be very clear and precise on the nature of the danger and the processes to address it, a next US President could cause a major disaster to this nation. American voters cannot afford to install a man or a woman who can't identify and define the enemy. If you can't see that enemy, you simply cannot defeat it. Read more ...

Rudy Official Resigns After Muslim Comment

CLIVE, Iowa -- The New Hampshire co-chair of Veterans for Rudy resigned Saturday amid video remarks in which he suggested Giuliani would deal with the "rise of the Muslims" and that the United States should "defeat or chase them back to their caves".
Deady later confirmed he made those comments in an interview to Talking Points Memo, adding that he did not believe there were good and bad Muslims. 'They're all Muslims," he said. Read more ...
