The Center for Equal Opportunities and the Fight against Racism (CGKR) wants to take the edge of the headscarf debate. Therefore the Center will from now speak about the 'external expression of convictions' instead of the 'external expression of religious, philosophical and political convictions'. Furthermore the Center wants a ban on the external expression of convictions in elementary schools. The question of wearing external expression of convictions is found mainly in three essential sectors, according to the Center: employments, public services and education. CGKR is therefore launching a site ( www.diversiteit.be/veruiterlijkingen) where it formulates recommendations for those three sectors. The freedom to express one's convictions in a peaceful manner should be the starting point, says Jozef De Witter, director of CGKR. "Naturally no single freedom, even a basic one, absolute. Evantuall limits should however be carefully justified. A ban should, in other words, be an exception and not the general rule," according to De Witte. In education the Center thinks that the current system has reached its limits. De Witte says there should be a legal arrangement, but that they want a calm debate involving everybody concerned. The individual freedom of the student should remain a fundamental principle, but it could be limited in order to deal with missionary zeal and in the name of security. The Center wants a ban on external expression of convictions in elementary education. As for secondary education, the communities should start a process to think it over. Individual freedom should remain in higher education. Source: HLN (Dutch)
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. A billboard showing President Barack Obama wearing a turban has sparked a lot of attention at the suburban Denver used car dealership that put it up. The sign, completed Friday by artist David Lee of Arvada, shows a grinning, cartoonish Obama and bears the words: "PRESIDENT or JIHAD?" Underneath the image is a yellow square with the phrase, "BIRTH CERTIFICATE, PROVE IT!" The words "WAKE UP AMERICA! REMEMBER FT. HOOD" appear at the bottom of the billboard at Wolf Interstate Leasing and Sales, about seven miles west of Denver. General Manager Wayne Means says the dealership has seen strong opinions about the sign, both for and against it.
The left-leaning advocacy group MoveOn.org called the billboard "racist" and is asking customers to boycott the business. Dealership owner Phil Wolf was unavailable for comment. FoxNews
By Aaron Klein JERUSALEM – A member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party today slammed as "racist" President Obama's longstanding demand for a halt to Jewish construction in the strategic West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem. "President Obama should not interfere with the rights of the Jewish people to live in Jerusalem," said Likud Knesset Member Danny Danon.
"This ... is a racist demand, saying that Jews cannot live in Jerusalem, only Arabs." Danon continued: "Our duty is to the nation that chose to deepen the settlement across Judea and Samaria, and of course Jerusalem. We will fulfill that duty, even at the cost of ignoring Obama and his advisers." The Knesset member was speaking at a groundbreaking ceremony initiating 124 new apartments in a Jewish housing complex in the eastern section of Jerusalem. In a separate statement, he told WND "the answer to Obama's racist request not to permit Jewish building in Jerusalem was given today when we initiated the construction of another Jewish neighborhood in Nof Zion (eastern Jerusalem)." "The people in Israel are united behind Netanyahu's position regarding eternal rights of Jews to build and live in Jerusalem," he added. Danon's strong words came shortly after Obama stated in a Fox News interview today that settlement activity in Jerusalem and the West Bank complicated efforts by his administration to re-launch Israeli-Palestinian negotiations while it also embitters the Palestinians. Obama was responding to a plan to build new homes within a Jerusalem neighborhood called Gilo, where already some 40,000 Israelis live. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said in a statement that "at a time when we are working to re-launch negotiations, these actions make it more difficult for our efforts to succeed." Netanyahu's office responded to Obama's criticism by dispatching an aide who sent reporters a message calling the building plan in Gilo "a routine process." The aide explained that like other foreign leaders, Netanyahu does not normally review municipal building plans in local neighborhoods. The aide added that Netanyahu saw Gilo as "an integral part of Jerusalem." "Construction in Gilo has taken place regularly for dozens of years and there is nothing new about the current planning and construction," the aide added. Obama had demanded a complete halt to Jewish construction in the strategic West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem, which Netanyahu publicly has refused. Palestinians routinely build in those territories, and at times the construction takes place illegally on Jewish-owned land. Earlier this month, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in Jerusalem that a settlement freeze should not be a precondition for re-launching stalled talks with the Palestinians.
However, WND reported the Palestinian Authority rejected a proposal by Clinton for Israel to largely scale back Jewish construction in exchange for the resumption of talks. WND
Update to: Paris: Muslim football club refuses to play against gays "We are 14 in the team who don't agree with this controversy. We can play this match," the players of the Muslim team told RMC radio, which organized a meeting between the players of both teams on Tuesday, October 6th.
The boycott was strongly condemned by SOS Racisme, who called for sanctions against Créteil Bébel. SOS Racism said the remarks were disgraceful, and that the position of the club on homosexuality was close to that of the more classic extreme-right.
Rama Yade, Secretary of State for Sports, asked what's next? they'll refuse to play against Blacks and Jews. Communatarism has no place in sports, and it isn't a Republican attitude to refuse to play for religious reasons.
The captain of Créteil Bébel, Ben, regrets the controversy. He told RMC he has two children in school who have heard about it all. Most of the team were indeed shocked that this team calls themselves Foot Gays, but they do not support their official's mail.
According to RMC, the players of Créteil are ready to play the match to 'show they're not homophobic'. Ben says: We'll play a match of eleven against eleven and the strongest will win.

Seyran Ates Have we forgotten to protect women in our bid to accommodate practices carried out in the name of Islam? Worldwide, women and children are among those most affected by human rights abuses; women and children make up the majority of victims of domestic violence; it is mainly women and girls who are deprived of an education, or even denied an appropriate position in the labour market despite a good education; political opportunities for women are still minimal, despite active and passive suffrage. This is the case regardless of culture or religion. In this sense, achieving gender equality is one of the greatest political challenges of our century. This standardised picture requires one qualification. Without wishing to relativise violence and human rights abuses or create a hierarchy, there are grave differences between what has already been reached in some countries and a standard that can be denoted as stable. While women and girls in western countries generally no longer, for instance, have to worry about whether or not they are allowed to work or go to school, or whether they will soon be married off to a cousin or a much older man, this is still a reality for countless women in most Islamic countries and in South America, Asia and Africa. This global perspective is necessary to understand the particular situation for many Muslim women and girls in European countries, especially those who live in parallel societies. In a plural, open and liberal society such as Germany, different cultures and religions jostle together so closely that conflicts are unavoidable and solutions supposedly hard to find. The fear of ostracising foreign cultures and religions and stoking xenophobia has led to a politically precarious situation, in which every criticism of Islamically justified misogyny can make you a racist, an enemy of Islam or even a Nazi. Such labels are thrown around with abandon. Read more here,,,, Source: The Guardian H/T:GH
Toronto terror participant hated non-Muslims, court told By Stewart Bell, National PostSeptember 23, 2009
Ali Mohamed Dirie, at left, also acknowledged that, even while behind bars serving a prison sentence for smuggling two guns into Canada, he had tried to buy more guns and recruit other inmates into the group. Dirie is one of the men involved with the Toronto 18. BRAMPTON, Ont. — A Toronto man who admitted Wednesday he was a member of a terrorist group that planned attacks in Canada was caught on police wiretaps saying he hated non-Muslims. Ali Mohamed Dirie, a Canadian born in Somalia, called white people the "number 1 filthiest people on the face of the planet. They don't have Islam. They're the most filthiest people." He added that: "In Islam there is no racism, we only hate kufar (non-Muslims)." Gash: “Demonstrate wherever you can!” Stephen Gash (red marked in picture), press spokesman of SIOE, was talking with PI about the incidents at the anti-Islam rally in Harrow in September 2009 and about the Islamisation of the UK. Violent Muslims managed to prevent an officially allowed demonstration on September 11th – another milestone on the road to Eurabia. PI: Mister Gash, many thanks for giving us an interview concerning the incident in Harrow on 11 September 2009. The demonstration in Harrow was called off by the police. However, one hour before the demonstration was supposed to begin, it was fairly obvious that many of the Muslim counter-demonstrators were ready to use violence. Consequently, there would have been enough time to call for back up. But one hour later, there were not enough policemen to enable the implementation of your demonstration, which was approved by the authorities. Do you think that the authorities were really willing to let this demonstration happen? Gash: No. I think it was intended from very early on to not allow the demonstration. The impression I had was that the police anticipated a counter-demonstration from Muslims and the so-called anti-fascists, so they put 550 police officers around the mosque. However, when the numbers of counter-demonstrators grew to over 1,000 the police decided not to allow the demonstration to go ahead. I heard afterwards that people were being turned back from the area, at the tube stations and roads leading to the mosque, just as in Brussels in 2007. I don’t think the number of our supporters would have been big, perhaps 60 – 100, but we are pretty sure about 60 were prevented from getting to the demo by the police. It would have been difficult for police to mobilize enough officers within an hour and I doubt they could have come from other parts of London because that would have left certain parts of London with too few officers on a Friday night. Bringing in police from outside London would have taken longer than an hour. Many counter-demonstrators (Muslims and Non-Muslims alike) were carrying signs with slogans such as “Stop the fascist BNP” and “Racists out”. However, the SIOE clearly dissociates itself from racism on its website: “Racism is the lowest form of human stupidity, (…)”. How does the SIOE deal with racists who are willing to attend demonstrations who are organised by the SIOE? Read more: http://www.pi-news.org/2009/09/gash-demonstrate-wherever-you-can/#more-516
France's interior minister has been accused of making racist remarks at a gathering of the governing UMP party, leading opponents to call for his resignation. UMP officials on Friday sought to defend Brice Hortefaux, an ally of President Nicolas Sarkozy, following allegations that he made anti-Arab remarks during a meeting of the ruling party last weekend. A video distributed on the internet shows Hortefeux at the meeting in southwest France being photographed with a party member of North African origin, while voices in the primarily white crowd are heard referring to "integration". Hortefeux was recorded as saying: "[The North African man] doesn't fit the prototype at all. We always need one. "When there's one, that's all right. It's when there are a lot of them that there are problems."
Hortefeux has denied that he made any racist remark, and on Thursday moved to account for his remarks. "We cracked a few jokes about his origins, my attachment to Auvergne, and about the fact that I could speak Auvergnat [a dialect spoken in France] but I mentioned that I could not... that a few pictures would be fine but I couldn't stay for more because I needed to leave," he said. "That's all it was. And once again, not a word from me makes any allusion to a geographic community or origin," Hortefeux told reporters on Thursday. Segolene Royal, a former Socialist Party presidential candidate, said that Hortefaux "has to apply to himself what he is preaching to others", in reference to his sacking of Paul Girot de Langlade, a senior French prefect who was accused of making racist remarks. By Angus Hohenboken COMMUNITY tensions are running high in the western Sydney suburb of Auburn after police from the Middle Eastern organised crime squad raided four houses during the Muslim festival of Ramadan. The raids on Tuesday evening prompted a gathering of about 150 mostly Middle Eastern youths and then the arrival of about 100 police. Police have denied their timing was culturally insensitive and labelled angry mobs who threatened police during the raids as "cowardly". Auburn mayor Irene Simms yesterday said she did not know the ethnicity of those arrested by police, but said locals were sick of a trouble-making minority dragging down the suburb's name. She said protests about the interruptions of religious rituals were "no excuse" in the face of criminal allegations, adding that immigrants to Australia caught breaking their citizenship oath by committing crimes should be kicked out of the country. "I think the police did an exceptional job in this situation," Ms Simms said. "No religion condones breaking the law." Detectives from the Middle Eastern organised crime squad seized a hand gun, stun guns, cannabis, ecstasy, pills, a large sum of cash and ammunition from three residences in Cumberland Road and one home in Normanby Street, in Auburn, at about 6pm on Tuesday. This is the time Muslims observing Ramadan break their daily fast. As news of the raids spread, an angry crowd of up to 150 people gathered on Cumberland Rd, prompting detectives to call in the riot squad, the dog squad and Polair. Police said the crowd was dispersed after a standoff and three people were arrested. A heavily-tattooed Lebanese local, who asked to remain anonymous because his police record was "as long as the street", said police in Auburn were racist and should have had the courtesy not to interrupt the breaking of a fast during Ramadan. "They target the same families, they don't care if your mum's in the shower, they've got no respect," he said. Detective Chief Superintendent Ken McKay made no apology for the raids, saying search warrants were executed in response to a shooting incident on the weekend. The man injured in the shooting had refused to co-operate with police in their investigations, but Superintendent McKay said police had "a very good idea of what occurred and why". Police allege a police officer was punched in the face during the raids by a 25-year-old man, who was yesterday granted bail after being charged with one count of wounding an officer and two counts of assaulting police. A 17-year-old boy arrested in the raids, also charged with assault, was granted bail to appear in Parramatta Children's Court on September 29. A woman was also arrested and is expected to face charges in the future. Source: The Australian

Islamic identity Keysar Trad's defamation case against a Sydney radio station has collapsed, with a Supreme Court justice saying Trad did in fact make remarks that were ‘‘offensive", "racist" and ‘‘condoned violence". Today's judgment comes in opposition to a jury's decision in 2007 that found Mr Trad was defamed by broadcaster Jason Morrison, who implied that he was a disgraceful, dangerous individual who incited people to commit violent acts. The case stems from comments made by Morrison about Mr Trad on talkback radio in December 2005, shortly after the Cronulla riots. The legal team for Harbour Radio, the owners of 2GB, argued that the information claimed to be defamatory was in fact true. After hearing evidence about Mr Trad's reputation and the effect of the broadcast, Justice Peter McClellan ruled today that Mr Trad's claim should be dismissed. ‘‘There is little doubt that many of the plaintiff's remarks are offensive to Jewish persons and homosexuals," Justice McClellan said in his judgment. Neither Mr Trad nor Morrison were at Sydney's Supreme Court to hear the judgment. ‘‘Many of his remarks are distasteful and appear to condone violence," the judgment continued. ‘‘I'm satisfied that the plaintiff does hold views which can properly be described as racist. ‘‘I'm also satisfied that he encourages others to hold those views. In particular he holds views derogatory of Jewish people. ‘‘The views which he holds would not be acceptable to most right-thinking Australians," Justice McClelland's judgment said. Outside court, a representative of Mr Trad said he planned to appeal. The parties are due to meet again next Thursday to discuss costs in the matter. Source: Sydney Morning Herald
'This insolence will bring about the downfall of the American leadership' July 27, By Aaron Klein
Rally at U.S. consulate in Jerusalem last night (WND photo) | JERUSALEM – President Obama's policies against Jewish construction in eastern Jerusalem and the strategic West Bank were slammed as "racist" today by participants in a rally drawing about 2,000 Israelis in front of the U.S. consulate in Jerusalem. "George Mitchell go home!" yelled protestors in front of the U.S. government building. Mitchell, Obama's envoy to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, is here discussing the American administration's call for a halt to all Jewish settlement activity, including natural growth or accommodating the needs of existing Jewish populations in the areas in question. "Obama should not be pressing Israel to compromise and freeze building in Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem," protest organizer Yaacov Steinberg told WND. "All these steps in the past just brought more Palestinian terror and showed Israeli weakness," said Steinberg, director of a coalition of West Bank Jewish organizations. Speaking at the rally, Rabbi Eliezer Waldman, who heads the prestigious "Nir" Torah seminary in the West Bank city of Kiryat Arba, called Obama a "racist." "How dare he tell the Jews where they can or can't live! The era when Jews were banned from living in different places has ended," Waldman exclaimed. "Obama beware. This insolence will bring about the downfall of the American leadership. Anyone who dares give an order to prevent Israeli life in Jerusalem or anywhere else in the land of Israel is destined to fall," he said. Read more here,,,, Source: WND

By पुनित मदान | 07 May, 2009 - Puneet Madan on the inaugural Human Rights Coalition Against Radical Islam Rally in New York on May 3, 2009:
We are a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, multi-religious, multi-ethnic group that have gathered in Times Square, New York, today (May 3, 2009) under the Human Rights Coalition Against Radical Islam (HRCARI) banner to reaffirm the most basic of principles that our ancestors stood for when, over six decades ago, they established the United Nations, the cornerstone of a hoped-for global democracy. In doing so, they hoped to ensure that never again would humankind face the persecution it suffered during the tragedies of the mid-20th century. The establishment of the United Nations was to be the beginning of a new era in which people of different religion, cultures, castes, and color would together create a new global society, a humanistic society, finally overcoming the fascism and imperialism of the times past.
HRCARI reaffirms the most basic principles human rights: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to vote, and the assurance that all human beings are equal, regardless of his social, cultural, gender, racial, sexuality or religious status.
For many in our world, democracy is considered the essence of human freedom. However, for others, the term “democracy” has come to imply only the right to vote. This is exemplified in the many Islamic countries that hold elections, even while exhibiting nary a trace of freedom. The most famous recent example of elections without the "essence of democracy" include the 2006 election of Hamas in the Palestinian Territories. The reality is that freedom, as a concept, has been defined straight out of existence. While most people in the world define freedom and human rights according to the universalistic notions set forth in the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UNUDHR), and other documents such as the United States’ Declaration of Independence, radical Muslims have defined “freedom” to mean the freedom they enjoy to exploit human suffering and dignity, a "freedom", they believe, is granted them by their age-old religious scripture. They are, in short, demanding that the democratic, freedom-loving world be tolerant to their intolerance. In the 1930s, when Jews were forced to wear arm bands in Nazi Germany, the world ignored their plight. One of the excuses for ignoring Jewish suffering during the Holocaust was a perceived need to be "sensitive" to the plight of Nazi Germany. It is still an open question why and how the world ignored and appeased the Nazi threat for as long as it did, until action was finally taken. But it is clear that by ignoring the Nazi threat, the world permitted a massive human tragedy, the Holocaust, to happen. The United Nations was founded in the wake of that tragedy in order to prevent another Holocaust.
Ironically the same story repeated itself in 1999, when the Taliban forced Afghan Hindus and Sikhs to wear orange armbands. They also were responsible for the genocide of the Hazara Muslims in Northern Afghanistan. Let loose, the Taliban grew into a global threat by 2001, and we are still living under the shadow of that threat. Today, the media and politicians are attempting to claim there is a “moderate Taliban.” The term “moderate Taliban” is an oxymoron in itself. Once again we are making deals and compromising the very definition of the “universal human dignity” in order to be “sensitive” towards the demands of perpetrators of genocide. Read more here... The 29-year-old, who calls himself Sam "The Assassin", defended the Parramatta-based gang's violent image in its YouTube videos and MySpace site. They promote anti-Australian sentiment and flag burning. "There are a handful of good Australians but most are racist by assuming Lebanese people are responsible for all crimes," he told The Daily Telegraph, speaking publicly for the first time. "When they see a Middle Eastern walking down the street they assume they are Lebanese. "I am half Lebanese and half Iraqi but I want the public and the police to know this: Don't forget about the Persians, Iraqis, Afghanis, Turks etc . . . because they do crimes too. That is why we have posted these videos up." The president of one of the city's newest street gangs, he said he was known as Sam Asesinoz, which means assassin in Spanish, although it was not his real name. On the gang's MySpace site, he warns: "Now we can't be f. . . . . with, coz we will take your life, we are the true soldiers." He revealed yesterday that the Asesinoz MC had 70 members.
UNO - 'DURBAN 2' Slaughtered by their own: from Pakistan to Sudan, many Muslim societies are suffused with poisonous, murderous racism Tarek Fatah, National Post - Tuesday, April 28, 2009
The following is an edited excerpt of a speech delivered last week at the Durban Review Conference (Durban II) in Geneva, Switzerland. As I speak to you, I am deeply disappointed that my colleague Milly Nsekalije, a survivor of the 1994 massacre of Rwandan Tutsis, could not share her story with all of you. The reason: In the eyes of some, she cannot have been a victim of the genocide since she is not 100% Tutsi. What does it say about the state of racism in our world when the victims of a genocide practise exclusion on the basis of the so-called purity of blood lines and ethnicity? Worse than her exclusion from to-day's event is the fact that it has happened at a conference meant to combat racism. As this shows, we have turned the concept of racism upside down. Racism operates not just as a black/ white divide, but also as a cancer that affects relations between people of colour -- people who often share the same religion, but have different shades of brown or black skin. This internalized racism, which devours the people of the developing world in Asia and Africa from within, is too often left out of the discussion of racism. This afternoon, I would like to shed some light on two genocides -- one happened in 1970-71 in what is now Bangladesh; and the other that continues as I speak in the Darfur region of Sudan. In both instances, the root of the problem lay with one group of Muslims feeling they were racially superior to their victims, who also happened to be Muslim. In both cases, the doctrine of racial superiority and the practice of institutional racism went unchallenged, even after the horrible consequences of such racism were evident and for all to see. In 1970, my country of birth, Pakistan, was divided in two: an eastern part that is today known as Bangladesh and the western rump, which survived a subsequent war with India as the state we now know as Pakistan. East Pakistan was inhabited by the darker-skinned Bengali people who happened to be the majority community of Pakistan, but found themselves ruled by a lighter-skinned minority from what was known as West Pakistan. In the first 25 years of the country's history, the racist depiction of the darker-skinned Bengalis as an inferior and incapable people became the unquestioned dogma among the ruling minority. The darker-skinned Bengalis' culture was portrayed as un-Islamic and influenced by Hinduism. Their music, cuisine and attire were mocked, and their language was banned, leading to widespread protests and deaths in 1952. In 1970, after suffering under the minority rule of West Pakistan for 25 years, the people of East Pakistan voted to elect a party based in their region, and gained a clear majority in the country's national parliament. However, the racist view that Bengali people were incapable of ruling the country, or that they were traitors to the fair-skinned minority of West Pakistan, led to a military intervention and widespread massacres over a 10-month period. The killing of the Bengali people by the West Pakistan army stopped only when India intervened and defeated the Pakistan Armed Forces, but not before hundreds of Bengali intellectuals, professors, poets, authors, musicians and painters were rounded up and massacred. All told, one million Muslims were murdered by fellow Muslims in an orgy of hate that defied the teachings of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad, whose religious authority was being invoked by the Pakistan army. One would have hoped that this genocide would have served as a cautionary tale. But the sad fact is that racism in the Islamic world has remained ubiquitous in the years that followed. Yet there is near universal denial about it, not just among the governments of Muslim nations, but also among many NGOs and civil society groups. In Sudan, the Arab janjaweed militia and the Arab government in Khartoum have caused the murder of 500,000 Darfuri Muslims whose only fault is that they are black and thus considered inferior to the ruling classes of that country. The mistreatment of black Muslims by those who feel they are superior because of their lighter skin colour has gone on throughout history. Only in the Middle East can one get away with addressing a black man as Ya Abdi, which translates as "Oh you slave." Only the Arab League would choose to embrace Sudan's President, a man charged by the International Criminal Court for his murderous campaign in Darfur. It is time that the medieval belief in the inferiority of non-Arab Muslims to Arab Muslims is laid to rest. Arab countries and leaders of Arab NGOs must denounce this doctrine, which has led to discrimination against darker-skinned Muslims by Arab governments in countries as far apart as Dubai and Darfur. If we cannot allow a woman to speak here because she is of mixed blood, then all I can say is that in the words of Robert Frost, we have miles to go before we sleep. - Tarek Fatah is the author of the recent book Chasing Mirage: The Tragic Illusion of an Islamic State. Racism in Islam: Allah’s White Faces by Abul Kasem - 06 Dec, 2008 From FrontPageMagazine.com on December 04, 2008
Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Abul Kasem, an ex-Muslim who is the author of hundreds of articles and several books on Islam including, Women in Islam. He was a contributor to the book Leaving Islam – Apostates Speak Out as well as to Beyond Jihad: Critical Views From Inside Islam. His latest contribution is in Why We Left Islam published by WND Books. FP: Abul Kasem, welcome to Frontpage Interview. Kasem: Thank you Jamie.
FP: I would like to talk to you today about the racial apartheid that exists in Islam. How is the best way for us to begin this discussion? Kasem: Jamie, let’s begin with the incredible hypocrisy and double standard that exists on the issue of racism in general. Islamists living in the West often portray Islam as a religion free of racism. They never fail to criticize western countries of its racist attitude and contempt for people who are not of white complexion. It is quite perplexing that these Islamists never look at their own backyard, of blatant, naked racism enmeshed in the Islamic doctrine. Any non-Arab, non-white, who has been to a Middle East Arab country will tell the story of absolute racism practiced there. It is no secret that in rich Arab countries, (such as Saudi Arabia) people of dark complexion, such those from Africa, South Asia (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh) receive much lower pay than a white person from the western country would. There is strict, unspoken, racial apartheid practiced in the rich Arab countries.
FP: And the lefties that are confronted with this reality immediately say how this has nothing to do with Islam and that it is “cultural.” Kasem: For sure, and they are completely wrong. The racism practiced in the Arab countries is solidly founded in the very doctrine of Islam.
FP: Tell us about it. Kasem: Blatant Islamic racism is permeated in the founts of Islam, the Qur’an, ahadith, Sunna, and Sharia. Let us start the beginning with the end in mind. What I mean is the Islamic Resurrection day. It is an Islamic day of black and white. Allah promises in verse 3:185 that life in this world is an illusion, that every person shall die, and every person will receive his judgment on the resurrection day. In verse 5:26, Allah vouches that all that is on earth will perish. Allah says in verse 10:26 that He will reward the doers of good with paradise and much more; their faces will be radiant-stained. They will never be humiliated. Ibn Kathir says that there will be no blackness or darkness on their faces. In contrast, the faces of the non-believers will be stained with dust, blackness, and darkness. On the Resurrection Day Allah will remove His veil and show His face to the dwellers of paradise. He will make the believers’ faces white. Where are all the radical leftist scholars deconstructing these texts in the way they have done to Western literature? The Islamic texts clearly reveal that Allah is a white supremacist; He does not like black faces; He likes white faces. It is clear from the exegesis of these verses that Allah likes white people and dislikes the black people, so much so, in fact, that even when a Black Muslim is entitled to enter Islamic Paradise, he will not enter it until Allah has turned him into a white person. Verse 20:102 says that on the day the trumpet is sounded (resurrection day), the sinners will be gathered together with blue eyes and black faces. A hadith in Mishkat says that on judgment day, Muslims will have white faces, white arms, and white legs (Mishkat al-Masabih, Ibn Abdullah Tabrizi, Sheikh Wali-ud-Din Muahmmad, Tr. Abdul Hameed Siddiqui, Kitab Bhavan, 1784 Kalan Mahal, Daraya Ganj, New Delhi-110002, India.1990, p.1.168). Allah’s preference for light-skinned people and His disdain for dark-skinned people is repeated in verse 7:46. Ibn Abbas writes that this verse tells the joy of the believers when they know those who enter hell by their darkened faces and blue eyes and those who enter Paradise by their lightened faces: at once handsome and radiant. Allah says in verse 86:8-9 that He will bring back life for Muhammad to commence judgment. According to ibn Kathir, on resurrection day, a banner will be raised for every deceitful person from his anus; the size of this banner will depend on the size of the perpetrator’s calumny. Thus, Muhammad will have no trouble sifting the believers from the non-believers. All Muslims will be of white complexion, and all infidels will be of black complexion, with a banner on his/her anus. In verse 18:29 Allah says that He does not care whether people believe or disbelieve in Islam. The disbelievers (non-Muslims) and the wrongdoers will be surrounded by the tent of fire; they will be given water (acid) like molten brass to shower and to scald their faces. Ibn Kathir says that this verse means the water of Hell is black, and it itself is black and its people are black. In verse 3:107 Allah emphatically pronounces that white faces on the judgment day will receive His mercy. Jalalyn writes that, on judgment day, Muslims’ faces will be white. In Mishkat (ibid, p.1.76) we read humans were emitted as white ants from Adam; paradise is for the whites, hell is for the blacks. Islamic Paradise will offer its white male residents unlimited, unbridled, uninterrupted sex with houris of exquisite beauty. These houris will also be of fair (read white), radiant complexion (44:54, 55:70) quite similar to the Hollywood movie actresses. Even the wine-serving boys will be white, like pearls (52:24, 76:19).
FP: How do you explain this kind of racism in Islam? Kasem: We might wonder why Allah is such a racist—white supremacist, even on Islamic resurrection day. The answer is Muhammad was a white man. Here are a few examples: Muhammad was white. (Sunaan Abu Dawud, 1.486) Let us read one hadith from Sahih Bukhari (1.3.63) Narrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said: "Who amongst you is Muhammad?" At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his companions) leaning on his arm. We replied, "This white man reclining on his arm." The man then addressed him, "O Son of 'Abdul Muttalib.” Tabari writes that Muhammad was of white complexion, reddish tinge, deep-black large eyes, long eyelashes. His breast hair was thin and he had thick beard. He had no hair in his armpit. The perspiration on his face was pearl-like (al-Tabari, Abu Ja’far Muhammad b. Jarir, History of al-Tabari, Translated by Ismail K. Poonwala. State University of New York Press, Albany, 1990, p.ix.157). In Ash-Shifa, Allah, through Sharia, expresses a great disdain for the black people in this manner: Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun said, “Anyone who says that the Prophet was black should be killed. (Ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, Qadi ‘Iyad. Ash-Shifa. Tr. Aisha Abdarrahman Bewley. Medina Press, P.O. Box 5531, Inverness IV5 7YA, Scotland, UK, fifth print 2004, p.375)
FP: So who is Allah then? Kasem: Allah is a white Arab supremacist. Allah dearly loves the Arabs. He chose them over all other races, making them the best pedigree in the human race. Does Allah look like an Arab, especially an Arab from Saudi Arabia and from the Quraysh stock? Let us read from ibn Sa’d, the famous biographer of Muhammad: …Abu Damarah al–Madani Anas Ibn ‘Iyad al–Laythi informed us; he said: Ja’far Ibn Muhammad Ibn ‘Ali informed us on the authority of his father, Muhammad Ibn ‘Ali ibn Husayn Ibn “Ali Ibn Abi Talib, who said: Verily the Prophet said: God divided the earth in two halves and placed (me) in the better of the two, then He divided the half in three parts, and I was in the best of them, then He chose the Arabs from among the people, then He chose the Quraysh from among the Arabs, then He chose the children of ‘Abd al–Muttalib from among the Banu Hashim, then he chose me from among the children of ‘Abd al–Muttalib (Ibn Sa’d, Abu Abd Allah Muhammad. Kitab al-Tabaqat, vol i. Translated in English by S. Moinul Haq, Kitab Bhavan, 1784, Kalan Mahal, Daraya Ganj, New Delhi, India, 1972, p1.2). According to ibn Sa’d, Allah favours Arab racism—prophet is to be of Quraysh stock and of white complexion (ibid, p1. 95-96). Here is a hadith from Sahih Muslim which declares Allah’s special love for the white Quraysh Arabs. Book 020, Number 4483 It has been narrated on the authority of Amir b. Sa'd b. Abu Waqqas who said: I wrote (a letter) to Jabir b. Samura and sent it to him through my servant Nafi', asking him to inform me of something he had heard from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He wrote to me (in reply): I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say on Friday evening, the day on which al-Aslami was stoned to death (for committing adultery): The Islamic religion will continue until the Hour has been established, or you have been ruled over by twelve Caliphs, all of them being from the Quraish. also heard him say: A small force of the Muslims will capture the white palace, the police of the Persian Emperor or his descendants. I also heard him say: Before the Day of Judgment there will appear (a number of) impostors. You are to guard against them. I also heard him say: When God grants wealth to any one of you, he should first spend it on himself and his family (and then give it in charity to the poor). I heard him (also) say: I will be your forerunner at the Cistern (expecting your arrival). FP: So Arabs must rule the world? Kasem: Yes. The ultimate goal of the Islamists is the creation of a Pan Islamic world, which must be ruled by a caliph (the Islamists call it the Khilafat movement) who will be responsible to enforce Islamic laws (Sharia) globally. FP: What are the requirements to be a caliph? Kasem: According to Islamic law, (Reliance of the Traveller, published by Amana Publications, Bettsville, Maryland, 1999, pp.640-642, law number o25.3) the mandatory qualifications of an Islamic caliph are: 1. must be a Muslim 2. must be a male 3. must be from the Quraysh tribe of the Arabs 4. must be a freeman (i.e., not a slave) 5. must be of sound mind. Last week I came face to face with evil, as I stood just a few feet away from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. We were both staying in the same hotel in Geneva. He was there to be the opening speaker at Durban II, a review and reprise of Durban I, the United Nations sponsored conference on racism that had turned into a racist hate fest against the Jewish people and the Jewish state. I was there - along with Elie Wiesel, Irwin Cotler and others who have devoted their lives to combating bigotry - to try to prevent a recurrence of Durban I. I first set eyes on Ahmadinejad when he walked into the hotel and waved in the general direction of where my wife and I were standing. We looked back contemptuously as my wife let out an audible hiss. He was about to be welcomed to Geneva by the Swiss President who made a special visit to the hotel in order to greet a man who denies the Holocaust while threatening another one, this time with nuclear weapons. When the Swiss President was widely criticized for his warm and uncritical embrace of one of the worlds most evil and dangerous tyrants, he offered two justifications. First, ... More »
Shouldn't the UN be promoting human rights instead of racism as the organization's integrity takes a pounding?
The United Nations enjoys what is known as the "halo effect", whereby, because of its supposed humanitarian focus and promotion of universal values, it is insulated from scrutiny and is regarded as above reproach by the media, which often holds international bodies such as the UN to be a reference and a guiding moral light. HonestReporting has regularly attempted to redress the balance, focusing on some of the long list of discriminatory actions by the UN against Israel and highlighting shortcomings within the international organization that the media failed to cover. -
Sept. 2001: The first Durban anti-racist conference that descended into the most hate-filled festival of anti-Semitism since the end of WW2. -
July 2004: The UN's International Court of Justice rules against Israel's security barrier, failing to even mention the Palestinian terrorism that prompted its construction in the first place. -
Oct. 2004: Ignored by the media, the head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency in Gaza admits that Hamas members are on his payroll. -
June 2006: The new UN Human Rights Council is inaugurated. It quickly focuses on singling Israel out for condemnation while ignoring the worst cases of human rights abuses around the world. -
Nov. 2006: "Special Raporteur on Palestine to the UN Human Rights Council" John Dugard writes that Israel "has many of the worst characteristics of apartheid." -
Jan. 2009: UN staff in Gaza accuse Israel of shelling a UN school, killing 43 civilians. The story is later proven to be false and John Ging, UNRWA's operations director in Gaza is forced to admit that the mortar shells landed outside of the school and that nobody inside was killed. The UN's incorrect public pronouncements however, were responsible for letting the story turn into another anti-Israel libel. In October 2008, HonestReporting updated you on the preparations for the Durban Review Conference currently taking place in Geneva, Switzerland. Led by a committee consisting of human rights violators such as Libya, Iran and Cuba, the writing was already on the wall for Durban 2. But is the "halo effect" starting to dissipate? The UN's aura of high morality took a beating as Durban 2 gave a platform to Iran's President Ahmadinejad. As the Dallas Morning News mused: After all, giving the Holocaust-denying fruitcake Ahmadinejad a platform to lecture the world about racism is like inviting Bernie Madoff to headline a global conference on business ethics. While those countries that staged a walk-out during Ahmadinejad's vitriol are to be commended, many media outlets, particularly outside of the US and Canada, which decided to boycott the conference in its totality, have failed to grasp the significance of the final conference communique, which has been signed earlier than expected on Tuesday instead of the end of the week to avoid further controversies. For, as the New York Times states: While there have been improvements in the communique, as now written, it would affirm the conclusions of the last one, implicitly still singling out Israel. The United Nations conference can never have credibility, or value, if it is used to attack one country — Israel — especially when so many other countries have truly abysmal human rights records, including China, Sudan and Iran. In stark contrast to the UN's tarnished integrity, The Australian noted that Australia's quest for a temporary seat on the Security Council could be damaged by its boycott of Durban 2. However, in stark contrast to the UN's tarnished integrity, the paper concluded: Before Durban II, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, said participants would "be judged harshly" if the conference failed. So they will be. Some nations, rightly, walked out as the Iranian President spoke. Whatever the cost of our non-participation in terms of votes for the Security Council, Australia was right to have no part of it. Predictably, although there was almost wall-to-wall condemnation of Ahmadinejad, some media outlets expressed regret that his appearance had perhaps vindicated Israel's concerns. The Guardian wrote: It makes whatever desire there is within the UN to investigate allegations of Israeli war crimes in Gaza that much harder to realise, as the UN as a whole is tainted by the Iranian leader's presence at one conference. Other UK papers, such as The Times and Daily Telegraph admonished the British government for attending Durban 2 even before Ahmadinejad's outburst. (See HonestReporting UK for more details.) Sadly, as Gerald Steinberg in the Wall Street Journal points out: Once again, the obsessive focus on the Jewish state meant that the real problems of racism and genocide were largely ignored at this U.N. conference. Only outside the official U.N. antiracism conference, at well-attended "counterconferences" organized by NGOs such as U.N. Watch, did the real victims of racism and mass murder get the attention they deserved. Only at those counterconferences could one witness moving presentations by victims of Iranian oppression, survivors of the Rwandan genocide and the continuing slaughter in Darfur. DELEGATES from several European states attending the UN conference on racism walked out as Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke about Israel. "They sent migrants from Europe, the United States ... in order to establish a racist government in the occupied Palestine,'' he said. - More to come Source: The Australian
The Australian Government has decided not to attend a United Nations anti-racism conference in Geneva this week.
The Durban Review Conference is supposed to work towards reducing racism, xenophobia and discrimination.
But it has been mired in controversy since the 2001 meeting saw Israel and the US walk out over anti-Semitic comments made by some delegates.
Foreign Minister Stephen Smith says he has decided not to go to the conference because he is concerned it will again be used to air offensive views. "Regrettably, we cannot be confident that the review conference will not again be used as a platform to air offensive views, including anti-Semitic views," he said in a statement. "Of additional concern are the suggestions of some delegations in the Durban process to limit the universal right to free speech." Canada, Israel, Italy and the United States have already indicated they will not participate. The anti-racism conference's success is also thrown in doubt after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced he would attend, sparking renewed fears the meeting could end in acrimony like the 2001 conference. Mr Ahmadinejad, who has stirred outrage by repeatedly calling the Holocaust a "myth" and with anti-Israel comments, is the only prominent head of state so far scheduled to attend the conference. Some believe that, as was the case at the last conference, talks could be dominated by the debate over Israel's policies in the Middle East. "Unfortunately, it now seems certain these remaining concerns will not be addressed in the document to be adopted by the conference next week," the US State Department earlier said in a statement. "Therefore, with regret, the United States will not join the review conference." Negotiators in Geneva say Western and most Muslim states had agreed on a declaration for the UN anti-racism conference that ironed out the most controversial issues relating to religious discrimination, Israel and the Middle East.
