It is absolutely incredible that the office of the Mayor of Binghamton NY would authorize a parade permit to a group such as the "Muslims of the Americas" that has so many and such a lengthy criminal history of gun running see here, counterfeit clothing scams see here, multiple members arrested and even a cop killer (Ramadan A. Abdullah) see here, who at this exact same time period is on trial for murder in Fresno CA. On Friday 4/04/2008 members of the Office of the Mayor of Binghamton NY and the Mayor and every member of the City Council of Binghamton NY were notified via email that there were numerous and documented links to criminal activity for the "Muslims of the Americas" group and that one of it's members and a former resident of Binghamton NY was currently on trial for killing a cop in Fresno CA, there were no replies.
