
Dec. 9 - The head of the SSF for Tehran, Pasdar Rajabzadeh said, “We had announced that any kind of gathering is illegal on that day but we were witnessing gatherings around Tehran University”.
Dec. 9 - The regime’s public prosecutor, mullah Eje-ee, threatened the Iranian people by saying, “from now on we will give no time to those who provoke disorder and insecurity in the society.
I tell the families to watch over their children not to be deceived by foreigners or their slogans. If they do then their families should not complain that their children have been students why are they arrested? From now on we will give no time and we will not have mercy.”
Dec. 9 - Facing the events of December Seventh, the Speaker of the Majlis Ali Larijani apparently was extremely upset. The regime’s TV said, “the head of the Islamic Parliament asked the students not to let some ruin the anti arrogance (anti US and Israel) students’ movement and to give an excuse to th fraudulent public opinion such as US and British media as well as some other media in the region.”
Larijani said, “Hasn’t (US) attacked us after 9/11 on excuse of fighting terrorism and hasn’t she shed blood in Iraq and Afghanistan and invaded these two Moslem countries?
She intended to invade Iran too but God was not with her …. US worked with hypocrites (the term the regime uses for the People’s Mujahadeen of Iran) and terrorists to strike on Iran’s sovereignty, did she have mercy on Iranian nation. Hasn’t the blood of our beloved martyrs such as Motahari, Behesti, Bahoonar Rajaee … been shed by her? Didn’t US and england want to provoke disorder in Iran before and after the election and strike on Iran’s interest?”
Dec. 9 - Mullah Makarem Shirazi has called for negotiations with those opposed to the outcome of the last presidential election. He advised Khamenei, “now we must have a ceasefire. For that we must first have a peaceful atmosphere. Then some who are respected by people and are moderates must sit down and right unity principals.”
Dec. 9 - Twenty thousand Bassiji were stationed around Enghelab Square and Tehran University to suppress the people. these Bassiji came from the cities of Isalm Shahr and Robat Karim. Most of the Bassiji are paid daily for their service.
