American training will be utilized to kill Jews 'when the day comes'

Muslim gunmen issue dire warning in sit-down interview with WND

Israel
By Aaron Klein

NORTHERN WEST BANK – Training received at current American-run courses for Palestinian militia men will likely be utilized in the not too distant future to kill Israelis, U.S.-trained Palestinian gunmen told WND in an exclusive, in-person interview this week.

WND met seven members of the Palestinian Authority security forces who recently received training at U.S.-run bases as part of a stated effort to reform the PA's militias. All seven of the interview subjects formerly were leaders of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist group; some are suspected of still being involved with Brigades activities. They were all granted amnesty by Israel as part of a gesture to bolster PA President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah organization against Hamas.

The meeting took place at a restaurant in a northern West Bank city that had been known as one of several major strongholds of the Brigades, the declared military wing of Fatah responsible for scores of suicide bombings and deadly shootings against Israeli civilians. WND

Former Al-Aksa terrorist sues 'Bruno'

A self-proclaimed reformed Aksa Martyrs Brigades operative is claiming damages from Sacha Baron Cohen for portraying him as a terrorist in his new movie 'Bruno.'

In the movie, Cohen interviews the man, Ayman Abu Ayta, poking fun at terrorists and Al Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden.

"Your king, Osama looks either like a dirty wizard or a homeless Santa," says 'Bruno.'

"I want to be famous and I want the best guys in the business to kidnap me," he continues. "Al Qaida is so 2001."

Abu Ayta, an east Jerusalem resident, says that since his release from an Israel jail seven years ago, he has not engaged in any terror activity.

He told Channel 10 that he had received an offer to help make a movie "to promote peace."

"You lied about me and you said you want to do something for the Palestinian people," he told Channel 10, addressing the comedian. "I saw the film. It is very bad for me."

His lawyer, Hatem Abu Ahmad, who is in negotiations with the movie makers over compensation, said "a dirty trick" was played on his client.

He also said that part of the damages claim is the fact that Ayman himself was portrayed as a homosexual, due to Bruno's character as a gay Austrian supermodel.

"If someone here calls you a homo, it's a very serious insult," said Ahmad.

'Terrorist leader' threatens to sue 'Bruno' movie
Says comedian lied about their meeting, scheme to make homosexual film

July 12 | By Aaron Klein

'Bruno' actor Sasha Baron Cohen

JAFFA, Israel – A "terrorist leader" interviewed in the just-released hit movie "Bruno" is fuming mad, telling WND the film mislabels him and that the movie's star, Sasha Baron Cohen, conducted the interview under false pretenses.

Ayman Abu Aita, who is labeled in the movie as a "terrorist group leader," said he was shocked when he learned five days ago the film depicts a homosexual character and contains scenes including full frontal male nudity and graphic homosexual fetish sex.

Aita also slammed Baron Cohen as a "big liar" who "made up stories" when describing to CBS's David Letterman last week the way he met Aita at an undisclosed location. Aita said he is pursuing legal action against Baron Cohen.

"[Baron Cohen] said this was a film going to help the Palestinian cause," Aita told WND. "When I heard (four days ago) what this film was about I really didn't believe it."

The character Bruno is a flamboyant Austrian television host who moves to Los Angeles to become "the biggest Austrian star since Hitler." At one point in the movie, whose $30 million weekend topped the U.S. box office, Bruno meets Aita, depicted as a terrorist group leader from the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, in a bid to seduce the jihadist group into kidnapping him so Bruno can become famous.

The Brigades is responsible for scores of suicide bombings, shootings and deadly rocket attacks against Israeli civilian population centers.

Aita, however, is not exactly a terrorist. At least not anymore.

Aita is a representative of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party to the West Bank town of Beit Sahor, which is a satellite of Bethlehem. Aita also is a board member of the Holy Land Trust, a nongovernmental organization promoting Palestinian rights and commitment to nonviolence.

Aita served in the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades from 2000 until 2003, after which he did a two year stint in Israeli prison on accusations he was involved in shootings against Israeli soldiers operating in Bethlehem. Still, according to Israeli security sources speaking to WND, Aita, while a member of the Brigades, once worked with Jewish state officials to return two Israeli reserve soldiers who had gotten lost in Bethlehem.

Baron Cohen, meanwhile, has pumped up his sit down with a "real terrorist" to promote his new movie.

In an interview with Letterman last week, Baron Cohen described meeting Aita and Aita's "bodyguard" at an undisclosed location in the West Bank.

"I thought I needed security," Baron Cohen told Letterman. "It was in the West Bank. The guy picks this secret location. ... The terrorist comes in with his bodyguard."

"I was pretty sure that my terrorist either did or did not have a gun on him," said Baron Cohen.

Aita, however, says the interview took place at a private section of a popular restaurant called Everest in the town of Beit Jala, which is in a section in the West Bank under Israeli control.

Aita said he does not carry any weapons and Palestinians are not allowed to bring weapons into Beit Jala. Indeed, during multiple in-person interviews with WND, Aita was unarmed.

Aita also said he does not have a bodyguard. The second individual who showed up with him for the interview with Baron Cohen, he said, was Sammy Awad, the American manager of the Holy Land Trust.

Asked if he thought anything was unusual about the way Baron Cohen acted or dressed during the interview, Aita replied, "No. He behaved very normally."

"There was nothing special," continued Aita. "He said he is a German actor making documentaries watched by young people. ... He wanted to make a story to mobilize the young people to help us (Palestinians). ... I didn't have any impression he would use my interview in a bad way."

Aita slammed Baron Cohen as a "big liar."

He said he is in the process of securing a lawyer to pursue possible legal action, claiming the film "made me big damages."

Baron Cohen's publicist, Matthew Labov, told WND the comedian has no comment on the report. A spokesperson for Universal Pictures, which released the movie, said the studio also had no comment.

Sources: Israel to free intifada architect

Marwan Barghouti
By Aaron Klein

Terror group founder part of expected deal on kidnapped soldier Shalit

JERUSALEM – Israel has agreed to release confessed intifada architect and terrorist group founder Marwan Barghouti as part of a larger prisoner exchange with the Hamas terrorist organization, WND has learned.

Sources in Hamas, the Egyptian government and the Barghouti family all told WND today they were informed Israel will release Barghouti if there is a larger prisoner exchange with Hamas that would bring home kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who has been held captive since June 2006.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's spokesman, Mark Regev, would neither confirm nor deny the report.

"We'd like to have Gilad Shalit back home, and we're making serious efforts," he told WND.

A separate source in Olmert's office confirmed Barghouti has been accepted as part of a prisoner exchange with Hamas.

Barghouti, serving multiple life terms for killing and planning the murders of scores of Israeli civilians, successfully ran in Palestinian parliamentary elections in 2006, stressing as part of his election platform his efforts in planning the intifada.

He is a founder of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the so-called military wing of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction. The Brigades is responsible for scores of deadly shootings and rocket attacks, and, together with the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, for every suicide bombing in Israel since 2005.

Barghouti has widespread support in the Palestinian street and with many members of Fatah. Although Hamas is at odds with Fatah, the Islamist group has publicly included Barghouti among the top of its list of prisoners it wants released for Shalit, likely so Hamas can be seen as the dealmaker.

Informed Israeli diplomatic sources told WND that if a larger deal is struck for Shalit, the Jewish state is considering announcing the release of Barghouti as a declared gesture to Abbas to bolster Fatah alongside a larger prisoner exchange with Hamas that is sure to legitimize the terrorist group.

Earlier today, Israel's Haaretz newspaper quoted sources close to indirect Israel-Hamas negotiations regarding Shalit as saying a deal for the abducted Israeli soldier's release could be reached in the next 24 hours.

Shin Bet security service chief Yuval Diskin and Ofer Dekel, Olmert's chief negotiator on the Shalit talks, extended their stay in Egypt to conclude a deal for Shalit.

Israel's Knesset is set to begin forming a new coalition tomorrow to pave the way for Prime Minister-elect Benjamin Netanyahu to take office. Olmert is keen to conclude a deal with Hamas for Shalit before he leaves office – which could be within the next few days. According to sources in Hamas, Olmert's negotiators have been passing messages to the Islamist group claiming Hamas will not get a better deal for Shalit under Netanyahu.

Israel is expected to release hundreds of prisoners in an exchange deal with Hamas.

Knesset Member Rafi Eitan, known to be close to Olmert, told the Israeli media earlier today a deal with Shalit is likely to be concluded.

"It is possible to assume that Olmert's emissaries in Cairo will return to Israel with a deal for Shalit's return," said Eitan, speaking on Army Radio

"I assume that the results will be positive. If an agreement is brought for Cabinet approval, I have no doubt that it will vote in favor," Eitan said.

Israeli warplane bombs Gaza border

Israel
From correspondents in Gaza City January 29

An Israeli warplane has bombed an area of the Gaza Strip border known to contain smuggling tunnels to Egypt, witnesses and the Israeli military said.

"An aerial attack took place against a site used to manufacture weapons in an area of the city of Rafah following the firing of a rocket into southern Israel in the evening," an Israeli army spokesman said today.

Witnesses said the attack took place in eastern Rafah, an area known to contain smuggling tunnels, and that no one was injured.

Earlier the Israeli military said a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip towards the town of Ofakim, which fell in an unpopulated area.

The rocket attack was claimed by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, an offshoot of moderate Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas's Fatah faction.

Yesterday, the ruling Islamist movement Hamas said it had fired several mortar rounds at Israeli troops making an incursion into the Gaza Strip.

The first major violation of the truce which ended Israel's 22-day onslaught against Hamas in the Gaza Strip took place yesterday, when Palestinian militants killed an Israeli soldier in a bomb blast near the border.

Israel retaliated with gunfire that left one man dead, an air strike that wounded three and bombing raids on border smuggling tunnels.

What If ?

Israel
What if Ireland made 1080 suicide attacks in the UK

What if Mexico made 4800 suicide attacks in USA

What if Indonesia made 480 suicide attacks in Australia

What if Alaska made 540 suicide attacks in Canada

What if Uganda made 600 suicide attacks in South Africa

What if Belgium made 1140 suicide attacks in France.

What would the mood be like in any of those countries, had they experienced such an assault ?

The first Palestinian suicide bombing occurred in April 1994 in the Israeli town of Afula. This took place at the height of the Oslo process, just as Israel was withdrawing from the Gaza Strip.Over 120 suicide bombings since then
Since 1994, over 120 suicide attacks have taken place against Israel. Equivalents in other countries.

This total of 120 suicide attacks would equate (by reference to total population) to the above totals (approximately)

Palestinian targets range across the spectrum of Israeli society
Civilian targets inside Israel which have been attacked include:

restaurants and pizzerias
bars and coffee houses
passenger buses
the entrance to a synagogue
a hotel Passover feast
a discotheque
university bus stops, buses and a cafeteria
shopping centres
open-air markets
pedestrian precincts
railway and bus stations
gas storage terminal
a snooker hall
an ice-cream parlor
a barmitzvah party

Five Palestinian groups have been involved in suicide bombings:-
Hamas
Fatah Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade (linked to Yasser Afafat’s Fatah)
Islamic Jihad
PFLP – the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
The Fatah Tanzim
They frequently claim joint responsibility for attacks, or even compete to claim “credit” for the same attack.

Involvement of Palestinian women and children
Palestinian women have carried out several suicide bombings; and children have been exploited to smuggle bomb belts or even to attempt to carry out attacks themselves.
Suicide bombings started 7 years before Ariel Sharon became Prime Minister:
Suicide bombings cannot be condoned as a legitimate response to a grievance:
Suicide bombings are not caused by despair, but by the manipulation of despair by fanatical terror groups:
Suicide bombing methods are designed to inflict maximum suffering.

Bombs have routinely been filled with nails, or ball-bearings or pieces of metal or screws to maximise the suffering of the victims Occasionally, the bomb fragments have been coated with rat poison, to infect surviving victims.
Rescuers are themselves attacked.

On numerous occasions a second bomb has been detonated to catch those rescuing victims of the first.
The survivors suffer horrific injuries, and trauma.
Thousands of surviving Israelis have been horrifically maimed and traumatised. Many are in long-term rehabilitation. Thousands of families have been shattered.

Suicide bombing is just one Palestinian method of committing mass murder: others include machine-gun attacks, grenade attacks on bus passengers or worshippers, stabbings, Qassam rocket attacks, driving a hijacked bus into passengers waiting at a bus-stop, drive-by shootings, gunmen running amok, car-bombs, land-mines and booby-trapped vehicles.

Israel to step up strikes after Gaza rocket attack

Israel
December 22, 2008

GAZA CITY: The Israeli military is preparing to escalate its activities in response to continuing rocket and mortar fire into Israel from Gaza.

Israeli forces launched air strikes on the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing one Palestinian gunman and wounding three people as rocket and mortar fire from the territory hit southern Israel.

Security sources told Israel's Haaretz newspaper a tougher policy would be drafted in coming days for dealing with rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.

The paper reported that Israel would ratchet up its air strikes, which would no longer be limited to hitting rocket-launching groups, they would also target weapons stores and workshops, as well as the heads of networks involved in launching rockets.

Israel's attack came amid international calls for calm one day after Hamas ended its six-month truce, but with internal pressure on the Israeli Government to take tough action.

The Israeli attack took place near the northern town of Jabaliya, when warplanes fired three missiles at militants said to be preparing to launch rockets.

Ali Hijazi, 24, a member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades group loosely affiliated to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction, was killed in the attack, witnesses said.

One civilian and two militants were wounded, with two in critical condition, Palestinian emergency services spokesman Muawiya Hassanein said.

The Al-Aqsa Brigades identified Hijazi as its local commander and said the dead man, who was to have been married yesterday, was responsible for handling rocket attacks on Israel.

"We won't delay our response to this assassination. All options are open and the reaction will come from all Palestinian groups," said brigades spokesman Abu Thaer.

An Israeli army spokesman said 10 rockets fired from the Gaza area had hit Israel on Saturday, without causing any casualties or damage.

Militants also fired 25 mortar rounds, one of which hit an empty medical centre near the Gaza border.

The Islamic Jihad movement claimed responsibility for firing the rockets, while the armed wing of Hamas, the Islamist rulers of the besieged Palestinian enclave, said it had fired 19 mortar rounds at Israel.

Tensions have been running high in and around Gaza since Hamas said on Saturday it would end its June 19 truce with Israel because it had achieved nothing.

Hamas and Israel have both said they will respond if attacked, but neither has said it would go on the offensive at this stage.

Terrorists' assignment: Protect Barack Obama

Posted: July 20, 2008
9:05 pm Eastern

By Aaron Klein
© 2008 WorldNetDaily

JERUSALEM – Members of the most active West Bank terror organization are set to serve in security forces being deployed to protect Sen. Barack Obama during his trip to the West Bank tomorrow, WND has learned.

Obama is due to visit Israeli officials in Jerusalem and leaders of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank city of Ramallah as part of a wider Middle Eastern and European tour that includes Jordan, France and Germany.

According to security officials coordinating deployments of forces with the PA for Obama's Ramallah visit, members of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Fatah's declared military wing, have been called upon by the PA to participate in the protection of Obama, particularly in securing the perimeter during a scheduled meeting with PA President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Brigades is listed as a terror organization by the U.S. State Department. The group took credit along with the Islamic Jihad terror organization for every suicide bombing in Israel between 2005 and 2006 and is responsible for thousands of shootings and rocket firings. Statistically, the Al Aqsa Brigades perpetuated more terrorism from the West Bank than Hamas, according to the Israeli Defense Forces.

Brigades leaders, speaking to WND on condition of anonymity, confirmed they will participate in protecting Obama as official members of the PA's security forces.

Many Brigades members, including the group's chiefs, serve openly in Fatah's Force 17 presidential guard units and the Palestinian Preventative Security Services; hundreds of Force 17 and Preventative officers are slated to secure Ramallah during Obama's visit there.

The Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades members are slated to serve in a third ring of security forces patrolling the periphery of Abbas' Ramallah compound during the Palestinian leader's meeting with Obama.

The Israeli Defense Forces, working with U.S. security coordinators, will protect the main West Bank highway Obama's convoy will use to approach Ramallah. Security for Obama will be largely turned over to the Palestinians once he enters Ramallah, although security plans are being heavily coordinated with the U.S.

Various high-profile Al Aqsa Brigades terrorists serve in Fatah's security forces, including those in Ramallah. The current chief of Fatah's Force 17, Abu Hayyet, is accused by Israel of planning or involvement in at least 10 deadly terror attacks, according to Israeli security officials.

Abbas previously appointed senior Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades leader Mahmoud Damra as commander of Force 17, a major, U.S.-financed Fatah security force. Damra, who was arrested by Israel last November, was on the Jewish state's most-wanted list of terrorists.

The chief of the Brigades in Ramallah also serves in the Preventative Security Services.

Both Israeli and Palestinian security officials, speaking to WND, said there was no known threat to Obama.

Al Aqsa Brigades members doubling as PA security officers previously participated in security for other visiting U.S. officials without incident.

One Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades member who doubles as a PA security force officer and who is set to protect Obama, joked if there was any threat to the presidential candidate it will come from Israel:

"Maybe the Israelis will try something because of Obama's policy on Israel, which the Zionists don't like, but we will certainly protect Obama. We are professional security forces," the Al Aqsa member said.

The information Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades members will protect Obama comes after Israel announced last week it arrested six Arabs who allegedly were plotting to assassinate President Bush on behalf of al-Qaida.

Israel's Shin Bet Security Services released for publication that it had arrested six Arabs – two of them Israeli citizens and the other four Palestinian residents of eastern Jerusalem – for attempting to set up an al-Qaida cell with plans to shoot down Bush's helicopter during the president's recent visit to Israel.

Israeli leader grants amnesty to more terrorists
Previously pardoned gunmen pledged 'resistance,' carried out scores of attacks

Olmert
JERUSALEM – Prime Minister Ehud Olmert this week granted amnesty to 32 wanted terrorists from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah organization, WND has learned.

Olmert the past year has pardoned hundreds of terrorists on condition that they disarm and refrain from terrorism, but many refused to lay down their weapons and continued to carry out attacks.

Olmert has said in the past he granted amnesty to the terrorists – all members of Fatah's Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – to bolster Abbas against Hamas.

The Brigades, Fatah's declared military wing, is responsible for scores of recent shootings, rocket attacks and attempted bombings of the Israel-Gaza border. Together with the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, the Brigades took credit for every suicide bombing inside Israel in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Read more ...
