Fantastic news!The House of Representatives has passed a bill making it easier for state and local governments to remove their funds from companies doing business with Iran’s energy sector.
The bill makes it clear that the federal government will not intervene and prevents shareholder managers from being sued for divesting.
So far about 20 states have taken such steps.
