Iraqi forces have captured a member of Iran’s Al-Qods Force in Basra involved in transporting weapons for Shiite militias. The Long War Journal says this is the fourth Iranian operative arrested this month, who were supporting the Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq that has launched many attacks on Coalition and Iraqi forces.
In somewhat related news, the leader of a 15-strong Iranian hacking group has stated that he works with the Iranian government and military.
The report says that the group attacked 1500 Israeli websites in reaction to Operation Cast Lead and hundreds of Danish websites following the publication of the cartoons mocking Prophet Mohammed.
There is evidence that Iran and Syria fomented some of the riots in reaction to the cartoon as well.
