Definition of a Moderate Muslim - updated
What is a moderate Muslim? According to a dictionary, a moderate is a person who is opposed to radical or extreme views or measures, especially in politics or religion. Yet, majority of the public seem to be struggling with the definition of a moderate Muslim. Perhaps we can make this task easier by defining a radical Muslim and then defining the moderate as an opposite of the radical.
Below is a list of issues that differentiate moderate Muslims from Islamic radicals. Hopefully you can help us grow this list.

Radical Islam Needs Clear Definition

Since Sept. 11, many in the Unites States and all over the world have discussed the issue of radical Islam without clearly defining it. Failure to do so can be catastrophic as it may lead us to label “radical” Islamic groups as “moderate,” and vice versa. If a radical Islamic group is called “moderate” we will miss the extreme elements within our society that can breed terrorism. Furthermore, we may unknowingly support radical Islamic organizations under the assumption that they are “moderates."
Society can argue at length about relative issues until parameters for measurement are settled. For example, it is difficult to determine if the pyramids of Egypt are big or small without defining in numerical values such as cubic meters what qualifies as “big” or “small.” The same principle has to be applied to define “radical” and “moderate” Islam, otherwise our discussions will result in endless debates.
Currently, we have two opposing views. Some argue that Islam is a religion of peace and that Islamic Shariah law is “peaceful.” Others argue that it is not. 'The Moderate Islamist'

The counsels of our Islamic-appeasing intellectuals today may be summarized in the career of Alistair Crooke, founder of the Conflicts Forum and formerly a special adviser to EU envoy Javier Solana. In the London Review of Books (Vol. 29, No. 13), Crooke self-assuredly asserts that the hard-line approach to Islamism, along with the refusal to countenance the more amenable elements in the Muslim world, is “opening a space, not for moderate pro-Western secularists…but for those who believe that to build a new society you must first burn down the old one.”
For Crooke, it seems the Arab world is crawling with pro-Western secularists just waiting for the opportunity to construct open, liberal democracies, confine the influence of the Koran to the mosque and the private sphere, recognize Israel’s right to exist within secure and defensible borders and neutralize the family compact paradigm that has governed the Muslim world from the beginning of its recorded history. Like so many others on the “rational Left,” Crooke is dreaming in jihadi-color. Read more ...

Media Legitimizes Islamic Extremists While Defaming Muslims
On October 29, 2007, Texas court held a hearing on TRO filed against Joe Kaufman. The next day the Internet was flooded with the following headlines:
"Islamic Groups Sues Joe Kaufman of Americans Against Hate"
"Islamic groups sue man who arranged protest"
"TRO Against Anti-Muslim Group Extended"
"TX Muslims Sue FL Islamophobe for Defamation"
We already addressed the "Anti-Muslim" and "Islamophobe" aspects earlier. There are other, more subtle, but also more dangerous issues with those headlines. We cannot stress enough how important it is to draw a distinction between moderate Muslims and Muslim extremists, between Islam and Islamism. However the aforementioned headlines and articles associated with them completely ignore that distinction and mislead their readers in the process.
The infamous Nazi rallies are never described as Christian events because most Christians are disgusted with the Nazis. However, when Islamofascist organizations put out their events, it seems to be universally acceptable to describe those events as Muslim or Islamic. Why such double-standards? Why does the media shun Christian extremists, but embraces Muslim extremists? Is there a hidden agenda or just complete ignorance?
Western Muslim community and Western media must address the following issues arising from ignoring the difference between Islam and Islamism:
1. Radical Muslims are legitimized as mainstream
2. Moderate Muslims are bunched together with the radicals, which gives credence to the notion that all Muslims are radicals and gives rise to Islamophobia -->
We ask everyone in the media:
- If you do not understand the difference between Islam and Islamism, stop providing your opinions on the subject
- If you do understand that difference, please make it clear every time you address the subject and call everything by its proper name
Some of the favorite media questions are "where are the moderate Muslims" and "why are they silent". Well, we are right here. It's you who don't want to hear what we have to say.

Ideological Standards Needed to Confront Militant Islam: What Are They?

Virginia Governor Timothy Kaine (D) is to be commended for accepting the resignation of Dr. Esam Omeish from the Virginia Commission on Immigration. It is unfortunate that the Governor did not more thoroughly vet Dr. Omeish prior to his appointment to the commission on immigration.
This embarrassment could have been avoided altogether had Governor Kaine's office applied basic vetting criteria before appointing Dr. Omeish to such an important position.
Dr. Omeish has repeatedly represented an Islamist agenda (political Islam) in his activism. The ideology of Islamism runs against the interests of a strong national immigration policy and American security. In Dr. Omeish's press conference of September 28, 2007, he stated that efforts to question his appointment "undermine a whole community of faith in a relentless campaign of 'Islamophobia' intimidation".

The organization, founded in 1993, is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia and has local chapters in 23 states. Emerson on Hannity & Colmes; Islam v. Islamofascism
Alan Colmes claims that using the term 'Islamofascism' is "extremely insulting to an entire religion." As a matter of fact, Mr. Colmes claims that any pejorative term combined with 'Islamic' is offensive, because it makes Islam in its entirety look bad.
What this interview actually shows is the degree of Mr. Colmes' ignorance. While he most likely has good intentions, Alan Colmes is perpetuating the notion of an Islamic monolith, the very notion that presents the main obstacle in separating moderate Muslims from Islamists, or (and I know Mr. Colmes would vehemently object to us using this term) Islamofascists. No moderate Muslims who are secure in their beliefs would be offended by the term 'Islamofascism', because they know it applies neither to them nor to Islam. Muslims who would object to this term are Islamists, because being labeled Islamofascists makes it harder for them to whitewash Islamism in general and terrorism in particular. (People who are still living in the pre-September 11 world and do not understand the difference between Muslims and Islamofascists, should read this post.)
We are asking Alan Colmes:
Please stop being offended for us. All you're doing is hindering our efforts to educate the public on difference between us, moderate Muslims and them, Islamofascists. The faster West is educated on the subject, the faster Islamofascism will be defeated. Islamofascism is an accurate description, not a derogatory term. And when Mr. Emerson calls you an apologist for Islamic extremism it is also an accurate description, not an insult. It is time to discard your PC prism and see the world for what it is, not for what you want it to be.

The Hamas PR Machine in America

On August 8, the U.S. Treasury Department designated the al-Salah Society as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT), calling it "one of the largest and best funded Hamas charities." Treasury revealed that Hamas had used al-Salah, "to finance its terrorist agenda." The designation was one of many actions taken against Hamas front groups dating back to 1995, when Washington first designated Hamas a terrorist organization. Unfortunately, these actions do little to hinder Hamas activities in America.
The problem is not that Treasury's actions are insufficient. Rather, U.S. companies continue to knowingly or unwittingly facilitate Hamas Internet and television services. Moreover, professors, media outlets, and even a former U.S. president, help Hamas broadcast its messages throughout America, even as Washington attempts to weaken the terror group following the violent takeover of Gaza.
Whitewashing Hamas in the Classroom
While Hamas represses its own Palestinian people in Gaza and continues to launch rockets into Israel indiscriminately, a legion of U.S. apologists, including Muslim lobby groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), propose that the U.S. recognize the terrorist government, so it may be influenced to modify its agenda. Leading the charge, alongside the Muslim lobby groups, are American academicians.
Boston University professor Augustus Richard Norton and Harvard University Middle Eastern Studies scholar Sara Roy recently co-authored an article for the Christian Science Monitor entitled, "Yes, You Can Work With Hamas," encouraging Washington to recognize the legitimacy of the terrorist organization. Writer Cinnamon Stillwell notes that Roy, in particular, has "long been invested in forging the idea of a ‘New Hamas' by attempting to downplay the group's openly genocidal ambitions and picturing them instead as an enlightened group of do-gooders interested only in social services and education."
Roy and Norton are not alone. Scores of other professors, including the University of Maryland's Shibley Telhami; associate professor of political science and international relations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Virginia Tilley; and Columbia University Professor Rashid Khalidi, have increasingly sided with Hamas, blaming all Palestinian woes on Israel, despite the fact that an internationally recognized terrorist organization now governs Gaza.
Read All Over
The positions advanced by these academicians are also buttressed by the mainstream press, which has helped Hamas spread its propaganda. On November 1, 2006, for instance, The New York Times ran an opinion piece penned by Ahmed Yousef, an advisor to Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Yousef claimed that Israel refused a Hamas-proposed ceasefire with Israel. What the Times failed to note was that Yousef's call for a hudna was essentially a call to let the guns fall silent in the near term, but did nothing to assure that Hamas' long-term goal of destroying Israel would be addressed.
On June 20, immediately following the violent takeover of Gaza, both The New York Times and The Washington Post, America's newspapers of record, ran two different op-eds by Yousef. The Times piece, entitled "What Hamas Wants," falsely claimed that after the Hamas coup, "the streets of Gaza are now calm," promising reform and disarmament under Hamas rule. In truth, Hamas has imposed a Taliban-like regime in Gaza that includes the killing of innocents, arbitrary confiscation of property, muzzling the media, and increased links to Iran and al-Qaeda. The Times, however, insisted that running the Hamas opinion piece contributed to a greater understanding of Gaza's new rulers.
The Washington Post, on the same day, ran a separate op-ed penned by Yousef entitled, "Engage With Hamas." The piece argued that if Gaza became "a breeding ground for terrorism," Washington would be to blame, particularly if it did not engage with the new Hamas regime. These publications handed Hamas a propaganda coup.
Predictably, pro-Israel groups were enraged over the two opinion pieces. But the mainstream media was unmoved. On July 10, 2007, The Los Angeles Times ran an op-ed entitled, "Hamas' Stand," by Mousa Abu Marzook, a Damascus-based Hamas official heavily involved in Hamas fundraising. Marzook insisted that the terrorist group's, "militant stance cannot by itself be the disqualifying factor."
Over the Airwaves
The Hamas PR machine penetrates U.S. airwaves, too. The easiest venue to disseminate its message has been the Qatar-based al-Jazeera satellite television channel. While the channel is not accessible on cable or local satellites, Americans can easily access it on the Internet. The channel has helped Hamas transmit the idea that suicide operations, or "martyrdom," is approved by the prominent cleric and spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, Yousuf al-Qardawi. On July 16, 2007, for example, al-Jazeera featured a program in which Hamas chief Khaled Meshal, sitting alongside Qardawi, thanked the cleric for his "support of martyrdom operations." Meshal praised Qardawi because he issued, "rulings in support of these operations, and there were times when we were in dire need of these rulings."
American networks, for their part, have provided a platform for one of Hamas' most ardent advocates, former President Jimmy Carter. In one interview, Carter told ABC that, "Hamas leaders sent me word that what they want to do is to form, to quote them, a peaceful, united, unity government." The former president cast no doubt on this proclamation from a known terrorist organization. Indeed, he pleaded with American viewers on CNN to, "Give Hamas a chance."
Hatred.com
Hamas also relies heavily upon the Internet to disseminate its virulent anti-Israel and anti-American message, which arguably makes their computer keyboards as dangerous as the rockets they fire into Israel. The Internet allows Hamas to raise funds, plan terrorist attacks, maintain international communication, and expand influence and recruitment through advertising and chat rooms.
Hamas operates a number of sites including: paltime.net; alresalah.info; palestiniangallery.com; fm-m.com; felesteen.ps; al-fateh.net; mujamaa.org; islamic-block.net; alkotla.com; palestinianforum.com; aqsatv.ps; and tanfithya.com. Perhaps the most well known Hamas propaganda website is the Lebanon-based "Palestine-info" network of 20 or more websites. Domains include: Palestine-info-urdu.com, palestine-persian.info and palestine-info.net. The operation is run from Beirut by senior Hamas activist Nizar Hussein, with instructions from Damascus-based Hamas chief Khaled Meshal.
A page entitled "Heroic Stories" on Palestine-info is a good example of the virulent content on this website network. Here, Hamas glorifies female suicide bombers, and includes a religious ruling (fatwa) from Qardawi. Other Palestine-info pages include idealized photos and propaganda of weapons-toting suicide bombers.
The Palestine-info websites include official Hamas news, propaganda, and chat forum outlets in eight languages targeting the Middle East, Western Muslim communities, as well as non-Muslims around the world. In addition to English and Arabic, Palestine-info publishes pages in Farsi, Urdu, Malaysian, and Turkish, as well as Russian (targeting Chechens) and French (for North Africans).
Internet Service Providers
Opinions vary on the exact number of American Internet service providers (ISPs) that facilitate Hamas activities on the web. According to Internet-Haganah.com, an activist website, Hamas purchased 18 websites (roughly 60 percent of its sites) from North American providers. However, an August 2007 report by Dr. Reuven Erlich asserts that Hamas obtained only about seven (roughly 35 percent) of its estimated 20 websites from North American ISPs.
Either way, corporations that sell server space and Internet services to Hamas are aiding and abetting the terrorist network. U.S. companies that support Hamas via the web include Domainbank.com, register.com, Network Solutions LLC, OnlineNIC Inc., GoDaddy.com, eNom Inc., Defender Technologies Group, and Oversee.net. Canadian firms that service Hamas include: Groupe iWeb Technologies Inc., Tucows Inc., and NIC.ps.
Conclusion
The Hamas PR machine exploits the American democratic system to spread hatred and incitement through America's communications infrastructure, thereby assisting Hamas fundraising and recruitment activities. U.S. journalists, academics, and television networks that implore Washington to engage in dialogue with Hamas are providing this terrorist group with national and international platforms. Although these actions aid and abet our enemies, our Constitution protects them.
However, we can shutter Hamas websites, especially when providers are American, by invoking the Patriot Act, which defines facilitation of terrorist communications services as a terrorist act. Congress can also help by instituting new "Know Your Customer" requirements for all Internet service providers, and specifically network access and domain name register companies.
Some analysts argue that Hamas websites and TV broadcasts must remain operational so that the intelligence community can monitor them. This is a poor strategy. For every day these platforms remain online, hate propaganda continues to poison millions of minds, drawing recruits, and raising funds. And the terrorists go on killing.

Scores of other professors, including the University of Maryland's Shibley Telhami; associate professor of political science and international relations at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Virginia Tilley; and Columbia University Professor Rashid Khalidi, have increasingly sided with Hamas, blaming all Palestinian woes on Israel, despite the fact that an internationally recognized terrorist organization now governs Gaza.
Read All Over
The positions advanced by these academicians are also buttressed by the mainstream press, which has helped Hamas spread its propaganda. On November 1, 2006, for instance, The New York Times ran an opinion piece penned by Ahmed Yousef, an advisor to Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. Yousef claimed that Israel refused a Hamas-proposed ceasefire with Israel. What the Times failed to note was that Yousef's call for a hudna was essentially a call to let the guns fall silent in the near term, but did nothing to assure that Hamas' long-term goal of destroying Israel would be addressed.
On June 20, immediately following the violent takeover of Gaza, both The New York Times and The Washington Post, America's newspapers of record, ran two different op-eds by Yousef. The Times piece, entitled "What Hamas Wants," falsely claimed that after the Hamas coup, "the streets of Gaza are now calm," promising reform and disarmament under Hamas rule. In truth, Hamas has imposed a Taliban-like regime in Gaza that includes the killing of innocents, arbitrary confiscation of property, muzzling the media, and increased links to Iran and al-Qaeda. The Times, however, insisted that running the Hamas opinion piece contributed to a greater understanding of Gaza's new rulers.
The Washington Post, on the same day, ran a separate op-ed penned by Yousef entitled, "Engage With Hamas." The piece argued that if Gaza became "a breeding ground for terrorism," Washington would be to blame, particularly if it did not engage with the new Hamas regime. These publications handed Hamas a propaganda coup.
Predictably, pro-Israel groups were enraged over the two opinion pieces. But the mainstream media was unmoved. On July 10, 2007, The Los Angeles Times ran an op-ed entitled, "Hamas' Stand," by Mousa Abu Marzook, a Damascus-based Hamas official heavily involved in Hamas fundraising. Marzook insisted that the terrorist group's, "militant stance cannot by itself be the disqualifying factor."
Over the Airwaves
The Hamas PR machine penetrates U.S. airwaves, too. The easiest venue to disseminate its message has been the Qatar-based al-Jazeera satellite television channel. While the channel is not accessible on cable or local satellites, Americans can easily access it on the Internet. The channel has helped Hamas transmit the idea that suicide operations, or "martyrdom," is approved by the prominent cleric and spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, Yousuf al-Qardawi. On July 16, 2007, for example, al-Jazeera featured a program in which Hamas chief Khaled Meshal, sitting alongside Qardawi, thanked the cleric for his "support of martyrdom operations." Meshal praised Qardawi because he issued, "rulings in support of these operations, and there were times when we were in dire need of these rulings."
American networks, for their part, have provided a platform for one of Hamas' most ardent advocates, former President Jimmy Carter. In one interview, Carter told ABC that, "Hamas leaders sent me word that what they want to do is to form, to quote them, a peaceful, united, unity government." The former president cast no doubt on this proclamation from a known terrorist organization. Indeed, he pleaded with American viewers on CNN to, "Give Hamas a chance."

Hamas also relies heavily upon the Internet to disseminate its virulent anti-Israel and anti-American message, which arguably makes their computer keyboards as dangerous as the rockets they fire into Israel. The Internet allows Hamas to raise funds, plan terrorist attacks, maintain international communication, and expand influence and recruitment through advertising and chat rooms.
Hamas operates a number of sites including: paltime.net; alresalah.info; palestiniangallery.com; fm-m.com; felesteen.ps; al-fateh.net; mujamaa.org; islamic-block.net; alkotla.com; palestinianforum.com; aqsatv.ps; and tanfithya.com. Perhaps the most well known Hamas propaganda website is the Lebanon-based "Palestine-info" network of 20 or more websites. Domains include: Palestine-info-urdu.com, palestine-persian.info and palestine-info.net. The operation is run from Beirut by senior Hamas activist Nizar Hussein, with instructions from Damascus-based Hamas chief Khaled Meshal.
A page entitled "Heroic Stories" on Palestine-info is a good example of the virulent content on this website network. Here, Hamas glorifies female suicide bombers, and includes a religious ruling (fatwa) from Qardawi. Other Palestine-info pages include idealized photos and propaganda of weapons-toting suicide bombers.
The Palestine-info websites include official Hamas news, propaganda, and chat forum outlets in eight languages targeting the Middle East, Western Muslim communities, as well as non-Muslims around the world. In addition to English and Arabic, Palestine-info publishes pages in Farsi, Urdu, Malaysian, and Turkish, as well as Russian (targeting Chechens) and French (for North Africans).
Internet Service Providers
Opinions vary on the exact number of American Internet service providers (ISPs) that facilitate Hamas activities on the web. According to Internet-Haganah.com, an activist website, Hamas purchased 18 websites (roughly 60 percent of its sites) from North American providers. However, an August 2007 report by Dr. Reuven Erlich asserts that Hamas obtained only about seven (roughly 35 percent) of its estimated 20 websites from North American ISPs.
Either way, corporations that sell server space and Internet services to Hamas are aiding and abetting the terrorist network. U.S. companies that support Hamas via the web include Domainbank.com, register.com, Network Solutions LLC, OnlineNIC Inc., GoDaddy.com, eNom Inc., Defender Technologies Group, and Oversee.net. Canadian firms that service Hamas include: Groupe iWeb Technologies Inc., Tucows Inc., and NIC.ps.
Conclusion
The Hamas PR machine exploits the American democratic system to spread hatred and incitement through America's communications infrastructure, thereby assisting Hamas fundraising and recruitment activities. U.S. journalists, academics, and television networks that implore Washington to engage in dialogue with Hamas are providing this terrorist group with national and international platforms. Although these actions aid and abet our enemies, our Constitution protects them.
However, we can shutter Hamas websites, especially when providers are American, by invoking the Patriot Act, which defines facilitation of terrorist communications services as a terrorist act. Congress can also help by instituting new "Know Your Customer" requirements for all Internet service providers, and specifically network access and domain name register companies.
Some analysts argue that Hamas websites and TV broadcasts must remain operational so that the intelligence community can monitor them. This is a poor strategy. For every day these platforms remain online, hate propaganda continues to poison millions of minds, drawing recruits, and raising funds. And the terrorists go on killing.

For decades, I was a die-hard Republican in Kansas, getting Republicans elected there & nation wide.
For several years now, I am an Independent in Missouri. We all staunchly OPPOSE George Bush Dictatorial Policies, which are the ROOT Cause of Disaster world-wide. Also, George Bush is promoting dangerous atmosphere against MUSLIMS.
Attached email below(issued on 3rd July) will provide an example, of a Radio Station(WTOP-FM in DC) committing a CRIME against Muslims, & not a single OFFICIAL in US has done anything?? The radio station host called Muslims a Cancer.
Every day in US, we now read & see such HORRIFIC acts against Muslims:-
1)Muslims houses & Mosques have been attacked & sometimes burnt, & their properties destroyed...Muslims arrested, only because they are Pious Muslims.
2)Mosques attacked & spied-on by GOVT....Muslims Spied-on by GOVT, at homes, offices, telephones, emails, etc.
3)Muslim women & men & children have been Threatened, Humiliated & assaulted PUBLICALLY.
4)Muslims have been very cunningly fired or denied business opportunities.
5)Muslims are very cunningly denied jobs or promotions.
6)Media(big Majority) is committing continous Crimes against Humanity, by

7)Attorneys are receiving hidden-threats &

In today's PAL-C News-letter from Wash-DC, I just reviewed your plan for the Pakistan-American community hosting a dinner on 25th July in DC area, for the Presidential Candidate(Sen.Hillary Clinton).
For decades, I was a die-hard Republican in Kansas, getting Republicans elected there & nation wide.
For several years now, I am an Independent in Missouri. We all staunchly OPPOSE George Bush Dictatorial Policies, which are the ROOT Cause of Disaster world-wide. Also, George Bush is promoting dangerous atmosphere against MUSLIMS.
Attached email below(issued on 3rd July) will provide an example, of a Radio Station(WTOP-FM in DC) committing a CRIME against Muslims, & not a single OFFICIAL in US has done anything?? The radio station host called Muslims a Cancer.
Every day in US, we now read & see such HORRIFIC acts against Muslims:-
1)Muslims houses & Mosques have been attacked & sometimes burnt, & their properties destroyed...Muslims arrested, only because they are Pious Muslims.
2)Mosques attacked & spied-on by GOVT....Muslims Spied-on by GOVT, at homes, offices, telephones, emails, etc.
3)Muslim women & men & children have been Threatened, Humiliated & assaulted PUBLICALLY.
4)Muslims have been very cunningly fired or denied business opportunities.
5)Muslims are very cunningly denied jobs or promotions.
6)Media(big Majority) is committing continous Crimes against Humanity, by
the Terrorizing Terminology & Words being utilized against Muslims in the
Media. Sometimes, the Media is also very cunningly Lying against Muslims.
7)Attorneys are receiving hidden-threats &
ZERO-LEGAL-Professional-Cooperation from the Govt, & even sometimes
Death-Threats from unkown sources, whenever the Attorneys are defending
Muslims.
8)Officials(elected or appointed), are mostly & purposefully NOT taking
any serious ACTION against any one, who is committing the above Crimes
against Muslims. Officials are just issuing Hog-wash statements.
9)ETC, ETC, that we all read & observe daily nationwide against the
MUSLIMS, which are serious VIOLATIONS of our Constitution(& its
Amendments).
We are therefore requesting Senator Hillary Clinton, to please announce
during the dinner & ISSUE a PUBLIC Statement, in SUPPORTING the
Prosecution of any one in Media, or of any
Individual/Organization/Company, or of any Official(elected or appointed),
who has committed such Crimes against the Muslims.

On August 28, 2007, Dr. Hamza Dhib Mustafa, member of the Palestinian Authority Supreme Fatwa Council, appointed last year by a so-called "moderate" PA president Mahmoud Abbas, stated the following:
Muslims Against Sharia condemn, in the strongest possible terms, Dr. Mustafa's statement and demand his immediate excommunication and removal from the PA Supreme Fatwa Council. As a figure of religious authority, Dr. Mustafa has a responsibility to strive for World Peace and not to call for worldwide domination of Islam. We hold PA president Mahmoud Abbas responsible for his appointee and demand a public apology and repudiation of Dr. Mustafa's statement. We call on all democratic governments, including the governments of Israel and the United States to halt any aid to Palestinian Authority until president Abbas rectifies the situations for which he is personally responsible.

Muslims Against Sharia condemn the inaction of the British government in regards to Hizb-ut-Tahrir and al-Muhajirun, two terrorist organizations that call for overthrow of democratic governments and violence against Westerners. After July 7 London bombings, former Prime Minister Tony Blair promised to ban those organizations. It has been over two years, several [unsuccessful or foiled] terrorist attacks, but British government officials are sitting on their hands and Hizb-ut-Tahrir & al-Muhajirun are continuing to spread their vile propaganda.

British Dhimmitude: Sainsbury's gives in to Islamist demands
Muslims Against Sharia condemn the decision of Sainsbury's supermarkets to provide Muslim employees with an option of not handling alcohol. First, Muslims, or anyone else for that matter, must not be allowed to force their religious practices onto general public. Second, if Muslims who work at Sainsbury's feel that handling alcohol violates their religious beliefs, they should not be working at Sainsbury's to begin with.
