The history of the United States runs through Philadelphia. It is there that the American Revolution was born. However, a new revolution threatens to take hold of Philly, a Muslim one. It is led by one of Philadelphia's favorite sons, singer/songwriter/producer Kenny Gamble (a.k.a. Luqman Abdul Haqq), who has a master plan to renovate a once great part of the city using taxpayers' money. While on face value his intentions appear to be worthy, Gamble's revitalization plan for Philadelphia has sinister implications, leading to the question: Will Philadelphia remain "the City of Brotherly Love" or will it become a city of Muslim Brotherly hate?
The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) or Ikhwan in America exists, in large part, within two immigrant populations. One is the Arab Muslim community, falling under the aegis of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and to a smaller extent the Muslim American Society (MAS). The other is the South Asian Muslim community, positioned under the umbrella of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a subsidiary of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Pakistan. These groups form the core of MB America.
Still, there is a third U.S. Muslim population of much less acclaim/notoriety. It is the African American Muslim community, and it consists mainly of converts who fall within a number of categories, many of which overlap, including black power advocates, racial separatists, ex-felons, anti-Semites and hate America firsters. There are two organizations that encompass all of the above: the Nation of Islam (NOI), a black supremacist group that is built upon the hatred of whites and Jews, and the Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA), the African American version of ISNA and ICNA. Profiles of American Islamofascists: Christina Abraham
Civil Rights Coordinator of CAIR-Chicago (CAIR-Illinois)
"He [Hamas operative Mohammad Salah] had collected donations. They were to go to families in Palestine, who were split up by Israeli occupation. So these were families who didn't have the breadwinner there with them anymore… And the interesting thing about it is that, at the time that he was arrested, Hamas wasn't recognized as a terrorist organization by the United States, so what he was doing then wasn't even, at the time, illegal in the United States." (Christina Abraham, WVON Radio Islam, Topic: Mohammad Salah Trial, December 29, 2006)
"... Hamas is not just a resistance organization. It provides social services - fundamental social services - to Palestinians in the Occupied Territories. They're the ones that run the schools. They're the ones that keep the hospitals going. So if you're bringing money - you want to help the poor, help the needy in Palestine - how do you give your money to an organization, how do you not give your money to Hamas, I mean? If you want it to get to the people, you've got to take it through the people who are actually doing something for the Palestinians in need, and that's Hamas." (ibid)
"What they're trying to do is put as many of these Muslims on trial as possible, and 'Let's show Americans that we're putting these terrorists away.' That's what they're trying to do. So not being able to find the real terrorists - bin Laden is still out there - they charge Salah with providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization." (ibid)
"I mean, here you have a man [Salah] who was only trying to help the poor in his country, so what do you do when the people in power say that you can't funnel money through this [Hamas] - you can't do it in this way - and they treat you like a criminal for trying to help, for trying to funnel money? And this is a scary thing. This is what's scaring a lot of Muslims, because as you said before, we all do it, we all send money back home, and some of us send substantial amounts of money." (ibid)
About Salah being sentenced to 21 months in prison: "It's a sad day for the Muslim community." (statement by Christina Abraham, CBS-2 Chicago, '21 Months For Man Once Accused Of Funding Hamas,' July 11, 2007)

FP: Homa Arjomand, welcome to Frontpage Interview.
Arjomand: Thanks for giving me this opportunity.
FP: You are originally from Iran . Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you ended up leaving Iran ?
Arjomand: I was born and raised in Iran . At the age of 17, I started my social/political activities with a group of medical students and became a dissident against the Islamic regime. I studied in England with the sponsorship of the National Iranian Oil Company. I returned back to Iran and worked as a teacher in various colleges and universities.
In the winter of 1989, I fled Iran through the mountains because my life was endangered by the Islamic Regime. I have lived in Canada since 1990 and have attended and organized countless meetings, international conferences, panel discussions and forums on issues related to women’s, children’s and gay and lesbian rights. Who's the Bigger Threat: The Moderate Muslims or the Jihadists?
Humanity has suffered horrific wars in the past. Yet, the present multi-form and multi-front war waged by Islamists has the potential of inflicting more suffering and destroying more lives than ever before. Ruthless Islamic forces are advancing rapidly in their conquests while those of freedom are acquiescing and retreating. Before long, Islamism is poised to achieve its Allah-mandated goal of cleansing the earth of all non-Muslims. Any and all means and weapons are to be enlisted in the service of this final holy war that aims to establish the Islamic Ummeh.
Is "Moderate Islam" an illusion? Moderate Islam is a wedge that will jam open the door to Jihad, and "evil will triumph when good Muslims do nothing." The great majority of Muslims are not adherents of the radical line. Yet, because the Islamists wage their war under the name of Islam, they receive immense direct and indirect support from the rank-and-file ordinary Muslims. It is this support of moderate Muslims that keeps the Jihadists alive. And it is the Jihadists who intend to show no mercy to any and all who do not share their theology, be they Muslims or not.
For the record, all Muslims, moderates, radicals, Shiite, Sunnis and other sects and sub-sects of Islam are in unanimous agreement that the Quran is the word of "Allah." All Muslims are also in agreement that "Allah" spoke through the Angel Gabriel to Muhammad. Allah declares, "The book is not to be doubted." Read more ...

Ten Saudis return home from Guantanamo Bay prison
Dubai - Ten Saudis returned home on Saturday from detention in the US prison camp at Guantanamo Bay where al Qaeda militants are held, the Saudi Interior Ministry said.
Washington has returned dozens of Saudis over the past year in an effort to reduce the numbers detained at the controversial camp ahead of finally closing it but around 13 are still held at the facility.
Public anger over the treatment of Saudi detainees in Guantanamo Bay has been high in the kingdom, a close US ally but one which applies Islamic law.
Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz told the official Saudi Press Agency that efforts were underway to bring home the rest, and that US authorities were cooperating.
Those repatriated to Saudi Arabia have received financial help from the government to rebuild their lives and many have been allowed to go free.
Fahd al-Shamri, a Riyadh-based lawyer representing families of Saudis held at Guantanamo, called for the release of those still held at Guantanamo Bay.
"We hope the next batch will be the last so that we turn this bleak page and bring to an end the suffering of the families of these detainees," he said in a statement.
Washington has designated Guantanamo prisoners, who were mainly seized in Afghanistan after the 2001 US invasion, as "enemy combatants." They have been denied the prisoner-of-war status that would guarantee them certain rights under international law.
Two Saudis were among three prisoners who hanged themselves at the naval base in June.
Fifteen of the 19 hijackers who carried out the Sept 11, 2001 attacks on the United States were Saudis and Osama bin Laden himself is Saudi-born.

Special Briefing: Jihad: Who's Joining, and Why?

Is the global jihad spreading to Europe?
It seems clear that this is happening. Events like the London bombings, as well as online postings by Islamist extremists calling Muslim brethren in Western countries to action, suggest to many counterterrorism experts that the global jihad has entered a new phase. All of the members of the London terror cells were longtime residents of Britain, and some were born there, confirming the view that Islamist extremism has taken root. While attacks appear to have ebbed in places such as Indonesia, they have spread to what experts consider the fertile ground of the "ummah" or Islamic community of Europe.Who is joining the jihad?
Experts don't foresee jihadism becoming a mass movement. Still, if the Al Qaeda ideology hooks a few hundred followers in countries with many Muslim immigrants, that is enough to wreak havoc. Recruitment in Europe is fueled by the sense of isolation and disappointment in Western culture. Read more ...Source: Christian Science Monitor
Islamist Radicals in Prison: How Many?
The US has fewer cases of radicalization than Europe, but experts call for more study, preventive strategies
By Alexandra Marks
NEW YORK – The radicalization and recruitment of terrorists in US prisons present a threat of "unknown magnitude," according to national security experts.
That's prompted leading analysts to call on Congress to set up a national commission to study the spread of radical ideologies in America's correctional systems.
Prisons have long been fertile breeding grounds for radical thought. Right-wing extremists, neo-Nazis, and Christian Identity groups have traditionally recruited and set up ideologically based gangs in these facilities. Radical Islamists have been more active in European prisons, but there have been a handful of documented cases of Islamist radicalization in US prisons. Read more ...

Hamas's Approach to Jihad: Start 'em Young
The group takes a patient approach to deriving political support from religious conviction.
By Dan Murphy
Gaza City, Gaza - As a weapon in its struggle with Israel, Nahool the Bee doesn't look like a particularly threatening addition to the Hamas arsenal. He doesn't even have a stinger.
But what the bright yellow star of "Tomorrow's Pioneers" on Hamas-owned Al Aqsa television lacks in muscle he makes up for in fervor. Speaking in a recent episode, Nahool vowed to help take back Jerusalem from the "criminal Jews" and expressed his hope that he and all of his listeners would grow up to become holy warriors.
The show, along with paramilitary-style summer camps for Gazan boys, reveal a key element in Hamas's long-term strategy.
Like Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, which spawned Hamas, the group takes a patient approach to tapping religious conviction to build political support. It is the movement's youth focus, critics say, that sets it apart from Hamas's rival, Fatah, which controls the West Bank and enjoys US and Israeli support. Read more ...

A New, Younger Jihadi Threat Emerges
Terrorism experts say radical groups are targeting teenagers as young as 14.
By Marc Perelman
Casablanca, Morocco - With a greeting that was as telling as it was macabre, Imane Laghriss dropped her satchel on the table of a trendy coffee shop here recently.
"It's stuffed with explosives, watch out!" snapped the young woman, echoing the grim humor commonly heard among Moroccan teenagers. But Ms. Laghriss's remark carried with it a degree of stark reality.
Four years ago, she and her twin sister, Sanae, were arrested for planning to blow themselves up inside Morocco's parliament. They were 14 at the time. The two were sentenced to five years in jail in 2003. After serving 18 months and nearly two years in a juvenile center, they are now free. Read more ...

Pakistan in Agony: What Follows Could Be Important for America
By Brigitte Gabriel
Harvard- and Oxford-educated Benazir Bhutto, who twice served Pakistan as its Prime Minister, was assassinated yesterday by Taliban and al Qaeda supporters in a spectacularly violent act in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This act threw the country into a spasm of violence on the eve of national elections planned for January 8th. The agony of Pakistan splattered across the small screen was palpable, as was the transformation of Bhutto into a martyr for democracy in the world’s media. That was reflected in comments from leaders in the US, France, India, Russia and even Iran.
The lurking danger in Pakistan is that the former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, who was also the subject of a failed assassination attempt, has some skeletons in his closet. He tried to befriend bin Laden as a means of co-opting Al Qaeda. Further, he is allied with Islamist elements in the Pakistani government intelligence service, the ISI, which might facilitate a Taliban-like takeover. It was the late Ms. Bhutto who in recent correspondence accused the ISI of trying to assassinate her.
The prospect of a Taliban-like takeover is daunting. Pakistan is acknowledged to have 60 nuclear heads, developed by the infamous Dr. A.Q. Khan, presently under house arrest. He also facilitated transfer of key nuclear technology to Iran from Pakistan. The fear is that the only bastion of opposition to the Islamists may collapse the largely secular Army of Pakistan. Without that bastion, the country might become another Islamic Republic akin to that in Shia-dominated Iran. Read more ...

Sharia Banking: Global Banks Adopting Islam
By Patrick Wood
The Bible warns that "... the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil" (1 Ti. 6:10) So, just when you think you have just about seen it all, something even more shocking turns up. Like this…
Either global bankers are seducing Islamic dictators, or vice versa. Even if they are seducing each other at the same time, the result will be the same: Islamic/Shari’a banking is coming to the United States and other western nations, thanks to global banks such as Citigroup, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
With Great Britain now pledging to become the Islamic banking center of the world, the stampede by all global banks to enter the world of Islamic banking is well underway.
Western banking met Islam many decades ago, but only began to sleep with her a few years ago. Since then, it is has become a wanton and open affair.
The implications for the west, and especially for the United States, are staggering. Because all Islamic banking products must be created and offered according to strict Shari'a law, global banks are doing for Islam what it could never do on its own: give legitimacy to Shari'a and infiltrate it into the fabric of western society. Pro-Islamist Pentagon officials pressuring one of the U.S. military's most important specialists on jihad
By Bill Gertz
Pro-Muslim officials at the Pentagon are putting political pressure on one of the U.S. military's most important specialists on Islamist extremism, according to defense officials.
Stephen Coughlin, a specialist on Islamic law on the Joint Staff, met recently with Hasham Islam, Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon R. England's close aide. The officials said Mr. Islam, a Muslim who is leading efforts for the Defense Department's outreach to Muslim groups, sought to convince Mr. Coughlin to take a softer line on Islam and Islamic law elements that promote extremism.
There is also evidence that a whispering campaign is under way to try and discredit Mr. Coughlin as a "Christian extremist with a pen" and force him out of the building, according to the officials.
Mr. Coughlin came under fire from pro-Muslim officials after a memorandum he wrote identified several groups that are being courted by Mr. Islam's community outreach program as front organizations for the pro-extremist Muslim Brotherhood.
Mr. Coughlin based the memorandum on documents released as evidence in a federal terrorism trial that he stated "are beginning to define the structure and outline of domestic jihad threat entities, associated nongovernmental organizations and potential terrorist or insurgent support systems."
Mr. Coughlin noted that the documents identified one of the Muslim Brotherhood front groups as the Islamic Society of North America, whose leaders were hosted by Mr. England in April at the Pentagon, raising concerns that the deputy defense secretary does not understand clearly the nature of the Islamist threat he is working against as the No. 2 official.
Mr. England has been a leading advocate of what critics in the Pentagon say is a misguided attempt to reach out to the wrong Muslims, regardless of their views, in an effort to counter Muslim extremism.
That approach has kept military and civilian officials from conducting much-needed assessments of how Muslim extremists are waging war because doing so would involving analysis of Muslim religious tenets, a politically taboo subject area.
A Pentagon spokesman had no immediate comment on the differences between Mr. Islam and Mr. Coughlin.

Dushanbe. Three Tajiks accused of being members of a militant Islamic group were sentenced on Wednesday to between 10 and 17 years in prison for allegedly preparing attacks, a court official said.
The three had "prepared themselves to carry out attacks but were arrested by the police," the official from the Sogd court in northern Tajikistan said.
Police seized bomb-making materials and arms during a search of their home, he said.
The suspects were allegedly members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (MIO). They were also found guilty of organising an army and calling for the overthrow of the government by force.
The MIO was formed in 1988 by former Soviet paratrooper Juma Namangani and the Islamic ideologue Tohir Yuldashev -- both ethnic Uzbeks who aimed to overthrow the government and create an Islamic state under Sharia law.

Aqsa and Benazir, not so different at all.
Now that my article about Benazir Bhutto has been up for a few hours and I have had a chance to read the replies to it, be they good, bad, weird, stupid, hate full or just plain ignorant, I would like to make a point.
The way this article was written has a lot in common with the piece about Aqsa Pervez who refused to wear her Hijab when she was out in public.
There is a great similarity between the story of a teenage girl who didn't want to wear a Hijab and was killed for it, and the fictional account of Benazir Bhutto being killed for refusing to take hers off.
The Hijab is not the reason for these killings and is only one of the links to these two events. They are but a symbol of the real problem, and that is one of other people trying to impose a set of beliefs or morals or practises on someone else.
Impose their values when they have no legal or moral right to do so!
The story about Aqsa Pervez is not a story of the Hijab or of religion, but rather a story about a domineering, controlling, vain and cruel father attempting to bend a daughter to his will, and when that failed, to resort to violence to achieve his objective.
The same can be said of Ms. Bhutto's case with the fictional Hijab. Benazir Bhutto was killed by people who could not achieve their political objectives by any other means and so used religion as an excuse to put an end to what they considered to be a threat from her.
In either case it was a means to an end that happens when individuals start to think they have a right to dictate the morals, beliefs and practices of other people.
It is one of the worst failings of Humanity when people believe they have the duty to subject others to their way of thinking.
Especially when they use God as a justification.

Jihadists' useful idiots
By Joel Mowbray
Given that hard evidence is often scarce in trials of unsuccessful terrorists, prosecutors in Miami no doubt felt fortunate to be trying defendants who participated in a ceremony pledging allegiance to al Qaeda — and it was captured on video.
Add to that ironclad proof that the leader of the cell requested — from a man he believed to be a terrorist financier — boots, uniforms, vehicles, machine guns and $50,000. Several of the defendants took surveillance photos of government buildings. Just in case the reason for the request was unclear, Narseal Batiste stated — on tape — that it was for creating an "Islamic army" to wage a "full ground war" and commit an attack that would be "as good or greater than 9/11," such as blowing up the Sears Tower.
It wasn't enough. He wasn't convicted.
In a stunning defeat for common sense, a Miami jury couldn't convict seven defendants on a single of the 28 total charges. One of the seven, who had moved to Atlanta months before the arrests and had severed ties with the group, was acquitted entirely. The jury deadlocked on all charges brought against the other members of the "Liberty City Seven." Read more ...

A Voice of Courage
FrontPage Interview with Dr. Wafa Sultan
By Jamie Glazov
FP: Wafa Sultan, welcome to Frontpage Interview. It is an honor and privilege to speak with you.
Sultan: I greatly appreciate the opportunity you grant me to voice my thoughts and concerns. The West must take notice of those of us who are willing to take the risk and speak up against Islamic infused hateful ideology.
FP: That's what we are here for my friend.
Let's start with your background. What has been your intellectual and spiritual journey? Who and what influenced you in your youth?
Sultan: I was born and raised in Syria as a Muslim and lived there for the first three decades of my life. It took me many years, profound life experiences and an open mind to evolve into the person I am today. My first turning point took place in 1979 when I was a medical student at the University of Aleppo in Syria, and witnessed the murder of my beloved professor by members of the Islamic brotherhood. They sprayed his body with bullets in front of my eyes while screaming, “Allah Akbar!” (Allah is great.) This experience severely traumatized me and left an indelible emotional scar on me. Since then I began questioning my religion and culture.
My second major turning point was Sep 11th. At the very first day following this hideous catastrophe, I screamed as loud as I could, “Wake up America! Islam is here”, and since then I continue to voice that message. In fact, I view every single day in the US as a turning point. Read more ...

Benazir Bhutto Killed for Refusing to Take Off Veil!
RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - In a dramatic move that has stunned and confused nearly everyone in the Middle-East, Pakistan opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was assassinated Thursday.
It was a suicide bombing that also killed at least 20 others at a campaign rally, a party aide and a military official said.
An official of a little known fringe group, The Allah Shmalla Party, commented that their platform of a totally Secular State was the only sure means of doing away with the sectarian violence so prevalent in the region. Part of their doctrine is the abolition of all religious beliefs, artifacts and icons in political parties because this would only inflame hatred amongst adherents with different views.
A senior military official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment, confirmed that Bhutto had died.

In light of this Ms. Bhutto was asked repeatedly to remove her Hijab since she was running as an elected representative of the countries government, but she always refused on religious grounds."At 6:16 p.m. she expired," said Wasif Ali Khan, a member of Bhutto's party who was at Rawalpindi General Hospital where she was taken after the attack.
A senior official of Shmalla said Ms. Bhutto could not use religious beliefs in an attempt to thwart political expediency and the State was forced to make an example of her.

Reform of Islam is Necessary for Civilization
By Larry Houle
The greatest danger mankind faces is the smuggling of a nuclear weapon by an Islamic Terrorist into a major western city killing millions in the name of and to the greater glory of God. If the hateful teachings of the Koran are not removed from Islam this is the disaster that will destroy civilization as we know it. It will dramatically change human history forever. The stakes are that high.
Islam is an issue of conscience. Islam as it is presently constituted is an issue of conscience and its Reform is definitely the concern of all peace loving, democratic believing peoples everywhere. Violence in Islam is a direct threat to all mankind. It is an issue of National Security not only for the West but also for Muslim countries.
Least we all forget - it is mostly Muslims who are suffering and being killed and blown up in horrific numbers. Since 911 there have been 10,000 terrorist attacks and over 150,000 Muslims have been murdered by their fellow Muslims in the worst ways imaginable. Read more ...

Kuwaiti legislator renews pressure on female education minister who does not wear headscarf
KUWAIT: A Kuwaiti Islamist MP presented a request yesterday to question the Gulf state's only woman minister, a liberal who has been under hardline fire for refusing to wear a head scarf.
Nouriya Al Subeeh had stirred the anger of Islamist MPs when she took the oath in parliament in April without wearing a head cover in line with strict Muslim laws. Since then she has been under scrutiny by Islamist MPs and could be dismissed if the grilling leads to a parliamentary no-confidence motion against her. Read more ...

Folsom Prison Jihad
By Peter Huck
It all started with a mobile phone, dropped at a petrol station robbery in Torrance, California, in July 2005.
"Through the phone we came up with a name, a residence and the location of the suspects," says Torrance police officer Dave Crespin.
"We arrested the suspects and conducted a search warrant on an apartment in South Los Angeles."
There had been a string of robberies in the area, mostly with the same MO; a getaway driver and another with a shotgun. But once on the premises detectives realised this was far bigger than a robbery and contacted the FBI. Read more ...

Hate cleric Omar Bakri calls for 'ban' on Christmas
'Christmas Day would be ideal for terror attack', he says
Hate preacher Omar Bakri, who is barred from Britain, is calling on Brits to boycott Christmas.
Using the internet to post a rant against the festive season, Bakri claims Christmas should be "completely forbidden".
In another chilling post the radical cleric said Christmas Day would be the perfect day to launch a terror attack on the UK.
He said: "To have Christmas tree, visit so-called Christmas Father - that is completely forbidden.
"Make sure you do not watch TV. Do not let them hear jingle bells. Do not send your children on Christmas trip."
Bakri's previous vile rants included his belief that the British public and the Government were responsible for the 7/7 London bombings.
In 2005 he was excluded by the then Home Secretary Charles Clarke from returning to Britain.
The move came after Bakri reportedly said he had left Britain for good and intended to set up home in the Lebanon.
He was duly arrested by Lebanese security forces.
Bakri, 46, was the London-based spiritual leader of the extremist group Al-Muhajiroun while claiming benefits from social services.
Although the group had supposedly disbanded, Prime Minister Tony Blair said that its successor organisation would be outlawed.
The Syrian-born preacher moved to the UK in 1985 after being deported from Saudi Arabia because of his membership of a banned group there.
In 1996 he created Al-Muhajiroun (The Eyes and Ears of the Muslims), which praised the 'Magnificent 19' hijackers after September 11.
In October 2004, he announced he was disbanding Al-Muhajiroun in the interests of "unity in the Muslim world".
But soon afterwards he led a demonstration outside the US Embassy in London in which protesters chanted the name of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden and torched an American flag.
Bakri has seven children who were born in the UK and relied on benefits for the past 19 years.
He has been told he will almost certainyl never be able to re-enter the UK, despite his wife and six of his children still living in north London.

Anger over plan to broadcast Muslim call to prayer on loudspeaker in Oxford
Muslim plans to broadcast a loudspeaker call to prayer from a city centre mosque have been attacked by local residents who say it would turn the area into a "Muslim ghetto".
Dozens of people packed out a council meeting to express their concerns over the plans for a two-minute long call to prayer to be issued three times a day, saying that it could drown out the traditional sound of church bells.
But a spokesman for the Central Mosque said that Muslim's also have the right to summon worshippers. Read more ...

Husband cut off wife's ears, nose on Eid day
By Abudlhadi Hairan
Qalat: A man named Mumtaz in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan first shaved wife, Nazia’s head and then cut off her ears, and nose and damaged her teeth on the first day of Eid ul Adha, an Islamic ritual of sacrifice.
Hospital sources in Qalat, center of Zabul, told this scribe by phone that Nazia, 17, was admitted on Wednesday (First day of Eid) evening and now she was in a critical condition due to the severe beating she has borne.
Provincial Police Chief of Zabul, Gen. Mohammad Yaqub Khan, when contacted, confirmed this brutal incident and confessed that the police were still unable to arrest the man.
‘The police are searching for him, he has disappeared’ Khan added.
Moreover, he told that a brother of the culprit was police officer who is currently under investigation.
According to a resident of the area, the husband and wife were recently moved to Zabul from eastern Paktiya province for unknown reasons.
The abused woman Nazia, lying on her hospital bed and uncertain about her future, told that her husband, twice her age, had suspicions about her behavoir. She added 'I swore to him many times that I was faithful to him but he did not believed. He used to beat me. A few days before Eid, she shaved my head and beat me severely. On the first day of the Eid, he cut my ears, then my nose, then damaged my teeth and beat me until my hands and legs were broken.'
'I was second wife of Mumtaz. The first wife was already killed by him' she added with a flow of tears from her eyes.
A report of BBCPashto adds that many women in Zabul province has protested on Saturday against this brutal act and demanded immediate arrest of the beast. 'We condemn this and we declare it the worst violation against the women' said a protester.
Fauzia Younasi, the provincial director of the women department has visited the hospital and shown her concerns over the matter. She ordered the doctors to do their best to save her life. 'She has suffered so much, she is beaten severly, her ears and nose is cut off, her teeth are totally damaged so she cant speak' she told media.
Residents of the area told that Nadia was married to this man one year ago.
The war-torn country is being to lead on a slow pace to democracy and political stability but violations against human rights, especially in the southern and eastern provinces, are still common. 'Legal reforms designed to protect women are not implemented and women continued to be detained for breaching social mores. There was a rise in cases of "honour" killings of women and self-immolation by women' says Amnesty International 2007 Report on Afghanistan.

Pakistan Bombing Kills at Least 50
By Riaz Khan
Pakistani police raided an Islamic school and arrested seven students Friday, hours after a suicide bomber killed at least 50 people inside a mosque packed with holiday worshipers at the home of the former interior minister.
Suspicion for the blast, which left bloody clothing, shoes and pieces of flesh scattered across the house of worship, focused on the pro-Taliban or al-Qaida militants active near the Afghan border, where the attack occurred.
It was the second suicide attack in eight months apparently targeting Aftab Khan Sherpao, who as interior minister was deeply involved in Pakistan's efforts to combat the Taliban and drive out al-Qaida. Read more ...

Symposium: The "Moderate" Muslim Brotherhood?
By Jamie Glazov
Just recently, the Muslim Brotherhood released its political platform, part of which would establish an Iranian-style mullah council overseeing Egypt's democratic institutions. It also prohibits Christians and women from serving as President.
What does this particular development signify? What does it highlight in regards to what U.S. policy should be toward the Muslim Brotherhood?
A heated debate among policymakers and analysts is in progress at the moment about how the U.S. should deal with the group. Robert S. Leiken and Steven Brooke, for instance, have advanced arguments about “the moderate Muslim Brotherhood,” emphasizing that the U.S. should see the group as a notable opportunity, to nurture engagement with it and not to treat it automatically as it would treat terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda. Other experts, such as Patrick Poole, firmly disagree with this approach, arguing that the Muslim Brotherhood is anything but moderate and that it needs to be designated as a terrorist organization and to be treated like one. Iran: Top cleric says women without veils must die
Tehran, 19 Dec. (AKI) - A top Muslim cleric in Iran, Hojatolislam Gholam Reza Hassani said on Wednesday that women in Iran who do not wear the hijab or Muslim headscarf, should die.
"Women who do not respect the hijab and their husbands deserve to die," said Hassani, who leads Friday prayers in the city of Urumieh, in Iranian Azerbaijan.
"I do not understand how these women who do not respect the hijab, 28 years after the birth of the Islamic Republic, are still alive," he said.
"These women and their husbands and their fathers must die," said Hassani, who is the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in eastern Azerbaijan.
Hassani's statements came after two Kurdish feminists in Iran were accused of being members of an armed rebel group and of carrying out subversive activities threatening the security of the state.
It is believed that his statements and the arrests could spark a fresh crackdown on women who do not respect the Islamic dress code in Iran.
Thousands of women in Iran have already been warned this year for their "un-Islamic dress" such as wearing tight, short coats and skimpy headscarves.

Muslim Brides and "Re-Virgination"
On Monday, FoxNews' website was running a story about a new surgical procedure sought by some Muslim brides: "hymenoplasties" or, that is, surgically restoring one's virginity by restoring a woman's hymen. [Source]
The article relates the situation of one young Muslim woman, Aisha Salim. Being a modern English university graduate, she has experienced the temptations of the West -- she drank, smoke, had sex, and even lived with one of her former boyfriends.
Aisha is engaged to be married and now faces the fear that her devout Muslim family, or that of her groom's, will discover her secret. Therefore, she is willing to have the delicate and painful surgery so that on her wedding night, her groom can hand her blooded sheets to his family as proof of his bride's virginity. "If my husband cannot prove to his family that I am a virgin, I would be hounded, ostracised and sent home in disgrace,” said Salim.
“My father, who is a devout Muslim, would regard it as the ultimate shame. The entire family could be cast out from the friends and society they hold dear, and I honestly believe that one of my fanatically religious cousins or uncles might kill me in revenge, to purge them of my sins. Incredible as it may seem, honour killings are still accepted within our religion. "Ever since my family arranged this marriage for me, I've been terrified that, on my wedding night, my secret would come out. It has only been since my surgery last week that I've actually been able to sleep properly. Now, I can look forward to my marriage."
Salim gives an interesting account of her childhood in England:"I attended the local Catholic secondary school and although I wore a scarf on my head, I refused to wear a veil, telling my parents that it would make me stand out too much. I was one of the girls, totally accepted by my white, English friends whose lives revolved around shopping and fancying boys.

"But the moment I stepped over the doorstep, normal teenage life would cease and it was like entering an entirely different world. At home, we had to pray together five times a day. We weren't allowed to watch television. My parents were so worried that Western influences might take our minds off the most important things -- education and religion -- that we were never allowed to bring any school friends home. But it made all the things my friends did more attractive to me. I would sneak out on Saturday afternoons and join them in town, hanging around, shopping and chatting to boys," Salim added.
As a teacher in a public high school, we have a handful of covered Muslim girls. Reading this report makes me wonder about and worry for them. What fears do they face? How integrated are they in the school's climate, or must they, like Aisha, shut the door on their classmates when they return home? How much do their lives mirror those of my non-Muslim female students?[kmacginn via http://hummersandcigarettes.blogspot.com]

My Prayer for the Jewish People
by Sheikh Abdul Hadi Palazzi
As a Zionist Muslim clergyman and a friend of the Jewish people, I cannot keep silent. I feel a moral urge to declare that the nations of the world are once again preparing bad days for the Jewish people.
A US Administration, which pays lip service to a supposed "war on terror," is ready to bow to Saudi-funded Islamist terror and to accept the Saudi diktat compelling Jews to withdraw from the Land of Israel. The Jewish people is at risk of getting restricted by order of its American "friends," ever closer to what Abba Eban used to call "the Auschwitz borders."
People are rarely satisfied with their politicians, and the case of contemporary Israelis is no different. Most of them feel betrayed by both leftist politicians who try to introduce surrender to Abu Mazen as a "step toward peace," and by reputed nationalist politicians who declare they oppose Jewish deportation from Judea and Samaria, but who do not move a inch to prevent it.
The more time passes, the more moral leadership of the Jewish people at home is restricted to a powerless minority. The nightmare of Oslo returned and became even darker in Annapolis. That was the reason for the recent creation in Jerusalem of the New Jewish Congress, a federation of different authentic Zionist groups and organizations, blessed by the New Sanhedrin and by the most authoritative Israeli rabbis, and supported by 30% of concerned secular Israelis. I regretted being unable to attend the founding session, held in Jerusalem, Israel, on November 27, but I was thankful to Allah the Most High for giving me the opportunity to thank Prof. Hillel Weiss for the honor of the invitation and to send the participants my greetings.
I was glad to have been given the opportunity to reiterate that the territories of Judea and Samaria are the home Allah granted to the Jewish people, and that any attempt to steal them from their legitimate owners is a declaration of war against a Divine decree. In my humble view, each of my Jewish brothers and sisters is morally obligated to struggle for the integrity of the Land of Israel, in order to ease the task of the Jewish people to be a "light unto the nations" and to pave the way for Redemption.
The oil lobbies are imposing the follow-up of Oslo, and compelling the whole civilized world to bow to a leader of kleptocracy like Abu Mazen and to again fund his anti-Jewish terror. In these tragic days, my heart is with the Jews in Israel, with all those Jewish families at risk of deportation from Judea and Samaria to appease oil-sultans and their Western counterparts.
I pray that hardship is overcome and defeated by a new Jewish leadership, which will prove that the Zionist dream is still alive. The dream of the Jewish people to live in peace and security in the Land of Israel was not crushed by strong governments in the past, and will not be crushed even today, despite the attempts of Arab dictators, the American politicians who cave in to their demands, and the corrupt Israeli politicians who bowed down in submission in Annapolis. One might easily envision that the nightmare that began in Oslo will now reach its most terrific level, with a possible ascendancy of Hamas gangsters over the areas to be vacated by Israel, including even Jerusalem.
President George Bush claims he reads the Bible daily, but seems to forget that it is written there that the Land of Israel is G-d's gift to the Children of Israel, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It was not given to anyone else, including the descendants of Ishmael, since they received plenty of territory in other locations. Even so, whoever attempts to steal any of the Divine inheritance of the Jewish people declares war not only on a particular nation, but on G-d and His decree. As long as the US stood up for the rights of Israel in her land, Allah rewarded them with a flow of abundance and blessings, while the Soviet Empire - which denied the national rights of the Jewish people - was canceled from maps. Now, the risk is that the US Administration wants to emulate the Soviet Union. I pray for a new US Administration, more respectful of the rights of the Jewish people over its land.

Diversity and Dhimmitude
The Society of Professional Journalists has rules of "truthiness" and diversity in reporting. Some highlights:
1. When writing about Islamic terror, be sure to include references to white supremacists and radical anti-abortionists.
2. Don't use terms like "Islamic terrorist" or "Muslim extremist".
3. Jihad means exertion to improve ones self or Islam.
4. Get Muslims to vet the article.
These guidelines are a mere formality, since they have informally been in place for some years now. Even the Republicans have been sure to mention the Oklahoma bombing and abortion doctor killings when speaking about jihad (the war jihad, not the improvement jihad). Since the comparison is made, look at the details.
How many events and deaths have been caused by supremacists and abortion doctor shootings since September 11, 2001? Fewer than 20 events and (throwing in the 1995 Oklahoma bombing for good measure) fewer than 300 killed.
And how many events and deaths by jihad and Islamic terror (yes, we used the forbidden terms) since 9/11? We have had 8708 attacks, 57,749 killed, 86,096 injured in over 42 countries. Hmmm.
The Society is right, they should be compared. But the media does not make any numbers comparison. No, one killing by a white Christian is morally equivalent to 57,749 deaths by brown Muslims. Take the town you live in. If one abortion doctor is killed today is that really morally equivalent to the terror of killing 57,949 in one day? Yes, according to the Society.
But it is not the numbers that are disturbing. All of the non-jihad killing by "white" people are random acts with no unifying thought. They are wackos. All of the jihad terror is based upon a formal doctrine that is at the core of Islam. A jihadist is not a wacko, but a Muslim who is carrying out orders from Mohammed and Allah.
Islamic violence is very coherent over time and place. It is so uniform since it springs from a central doctrine. What else can explain the consistency? A jihadist is executing a script he was taught since he was a child. He is not a wacko, but a fighter in the path of Allah.
Let's look at item 3, jihad is personal exertion for self improvement. Luckily, we do not have to depend on our media to get the right answer. We can go to Mohammed and the doctrine of political Islam. Every mention of jihad in the Koran refers to killing the kafirs. All of the jihad in the Sira (Mohammed's biography and a sacred text) refers to jihad as killing the kafirs. In Bukhari's Hadith, 3% of the hadiths refer to jihad are inner struggle for improvement; 97% of the jihad hadiths are about killing the kafirs. So inner struggle/jihad is less than 1% of the total doctrine, but it defines the whole doctrine according to the Society of Professional Journalists. They know that jihad is all self-improvement.
But, let's be fair here. The members of the Society don't know that there is a doctrine. They are merely parroting what the different Islamic groups demand of them. If the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) says that jihad is inner struggle, then the dhimmis at the Society make it the media law.
They may not know Islamic doctrine, but they know Orwell's 1984 and "newspeak". If you control the language, you control thought. That is what the Society of Professional Journalists are doing--controlling language and thought. But they are not using analytic thought or logic.
In further rebellion against the Professional Journalists newspeak, this article was not vetted by Muslims. At Political Islam.com we are kafirs, not dhimmis.

Iran Educates Children to 'Seek Martyrdom'
By Erick Stakelbeck
CBNNews.com - During Iran's war with Iraq in the 1980s, Ayatollah Khomeini sent thousands of Iranian children directly into minefields.
He promised that they'd see heaven as their reward.
Today's Iranian leadership is quite unpopular with its growing younger generation -- the Mullahs are attempting to reclaim this group one textbook at at a time.
This is becoming a common scene in Iran. Pro-democracy Protests against the ruling regime. Just last weekend Tehran University students waved signs that said "live free or die."
In some ways, this is the new face of Iran-- 70 percent of the population is under the age of 30. Many of these Iranians are hungry for the kind of freedoms Americans enjoy. But the Iranian government has other ideas.
"Imagine 225,000, 250,000 even 100,000 kids who have been taught to hate America, hate the West, get ready for martyrdom," Shayan Arya said.
Shayan Arya's family left Iran when he was a teenager. He says the government's educational curriculum teaches children as young as first grade to prepare for war and seek martyrdom.
"You are responsible for learning it--you get tested on it, you have to study it, you have to write papers on it, you have to answer to your teachers, he said.
The Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance recently gave CBN News an exclusive look at some Iranian textbooks. All non-Muslims are portrayed as evil -- especially the U.S. and Israel.
A seventh-grade textbook encourages students to "not cease.until the redeeming message of 'there is no god but Allah' is realized throughout the whole world."
These books also teach war between Iran and the west is inevitable. Iranians must either bring about a global Islamic victory or else.
"Victory is not guaranteed, according to the books. It's either victory or collective martyrdom," said Dr. Arnon Groiss.
Eighth grade texts hammer that message home. One section reads "either we shake one another's hand in joy at the victory of Islam in the world, or all of us will turn to eternal life and martyrdom."
"Gradually they build on it so that by 10th or 11th grade, children should be ready to be martyred," Arya said.
Dr. Arnon Groiss has studied Iran's educational system extensively. He views the Iranian curriculum as extreme even for the Middle East.
"If you're dealing with such people, such a regime, that tries to instill in young children or schoolchildrens' minds the idea of global war to the end, this is frightening," Groiss said. "And you will not find this in Syrian textbooks or Saudi Arabian textbooks or Egyptian textbooks."
The radical message of the Islamic Revolution has fallen on deaf ears for many young Iranians. But president Mahmoud Ahamdenijad isn't giving up without a fight.
He says Iran's educational curriculum has become too secular and must be cleansed.
"Now, in order to continue the Islamic Revolution, it is our duty to continue with all our power our revolt against the Arrogant Ones and the Oppressors (the U.S. and Israel), and not cease until the redeeming message of 'there is no God except Allah' is realized in the whole world." - 7th grade text-book.

Top Islamic Cleric says women without veils must die!
In the name of Islam countless Muslim fanatics use any and every opportunity to stage violent protests, issue death threaths, destroy property, murder, and commit other acts of terrorism.
They go nuts (yes, nuts) over cartoons and teddy bears, while they generally keep quiet over acts of terrorism and other human rights violations commited by fellow members of their so-called Jihad.’(Jihad bis Saif)
It is believed that his statements and the arrests could spark a fresh crackdown on women who do not repect the Islamic dress code in Iran.
Thousands of women in Iran have already been warned this year for their “un-Islamic dress” such as wearing tight, short coats and skimpy headscarves and the hubris of these mysogynist pigs is almost without bounds or shame.
I keep saying that only education will fix these attitudes in the Middle East and elsewhere but I am also starting to think that some of these people need to be sent to an out of the way island somewhere so they can do no more harm.

Canadian DisHonor Murder
By Robert Spencer
Aqsa Parvez is dead, and the main thing that many analysts want you to know about her death is that it had nothing to do with Islam.
Aqsa Parvez was sixteen years old; her father has been charged with strangling her to death because she refused to wear the hijab. Shahina Siddiqui, president of the Islamic Social Services Association, declared: “The strangulation death of Ms. Parvez was the result of domestic violence, a problem that cuts across Canadian society and is blind to colour or creed.” Sheikh Alaa El-Sayyed, imam of the Islamic Society of North America in Mississauga, Ontario, agreed: “The bottom line is, it’s a domestic violence issue.” Nor was this denial limited only to Muslims. Lorne Gunter said in the Edmonton Journal: “I see nothing uniquely Muslim in her death. If, indeed, her father killed her, her death is his doing, not Islam’s.”
Gunter explains: “Of course, other cultures are also prone to intergenerational clashes and Muslim fathers have so far shown no more predilection for murder than fathers of other cultures.” Quite so. Is, then, any linkage of Islam with the murder of Aqsa Parvez simply a manifestation of bigotry? Or is an examination of some elements of Islamic theology and culture necessary in order to try to prevent more young Muslim girls from being similarly victimized in the future?
Toronto radio host John Oakley has declared: “No one is on a witch hunt here trying to demonize an entire faith, but rather to get to the bottom of what seems to be a nasty little secret within a certain segment of the community; women are treated as second-class citizens. If that is, in fact, at the root of violence and abuse meted out by some Muslim men, it’s high time to take ownership and confront the elephant in the room….Denial is not an option.”
Are women indeed treated as second class within Islamic culture? Certainly there is plenty of divine sanction for their being thus treated. The Qur’an declares that a woman’s testimony is worth half that of a man: “Get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her” (2:282). It allows men to marry up to four wives, and have sex with slave girls also: “If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice” (4:3). It rules that a son’s inheritance should be twice the size of that of a daughter: “Allah (thus) directs you as regards your children’s (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females” (4:11).
Worst of all, the Qur’an tells husbands to beat their disobedient wives: “Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them” (4:34).
Numerous hadiths even have Muhammad informing a group of women that their gender will populate hell: “Once Allah’s Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of ‘Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, ‘O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women).’”
When they ask him why, he explains, “You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.”
Muhammad’s assessment of their deficiencies comes from his Qur’an, as he explains further: “Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man? [cf. Qur’an 2:282, above]...This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn’t it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?...This is the deficiency in her religion” (Bukhari 1.6.301). The idea that hell will be filled with more women than men occurs frequently in the hadith. According to Muhammad, “I looked at Paradise and saw that the majority of its residents were the poor; and I looked at the (Hell) Fire and saw that the majority of its residents were women” (Bukhari 7.62.126).
These traditions demonstrate why some Muslim men have so often fit the stereotype that they treat women with suspicion, disdain and derision. When they deal with women, they are dealing with a group that suffers from severe moral and intellectual deficiencies, not to mention all sorts of physical impurities in a religion obsessed with ritual cleanliness. Women are, consequently, headed for hell.
In light of all this, think for a minute about what Muslim spokesmen in Canada could be saying. They could acknowledge that the divine sanction given to the beating of disobedient women by Qur’an 4:34 has created a culture in which such abuse is accepted as normal. They could call for a searching reevaluation of the meaning and continued relevance of that verse and other traditional material that reinforces it, and call in no uncertain terms for Muslims to reject definitively its literal meaning, now and for all time to come. They could acknowledge the prevalence of honor killing in Islamic culture, which has no sanction as such in Islamic theology but nonetheless enjoys enough Islamic approval that the Jordanian Parliament a few years ago rejected on Islamic grounds attempts to stiffen penalties for it. They could call for sweeping reform and reexamination of the status of women in Islam.
For any of this to happen, Muslim leaders in Canada would have to adopt an unfamiliar and uncharacteristic stance of self-criticism, and Canadian leaders would have to abandon their ongoing infatuation with multiculturalism.
Unfortunately for Muslim women in Canada and elsewhere, neither seems likely. But Aqsa Parvez deserves no less.

The Failure of Western Feminists to Address Islamist Abuse

Women Harmed By Muslim Men
This year, women have been killed in Basra, Iraq, by fanatical Islamists. Their bodies are subsequently dumped among refuse, with notes saying they were killed for "un-Islamic behavior". Such "behavior" is actually the mere fact that these women did not wear the hijab or Muslim headscarf. One mother who did not wear a veil was murdered with her children, who were aged 6 to 11 years. In September, the headless bodies of a woman and her six-year-old son were among those found. In fact, between July and September this year, 42 women had been killed in this manner in Basra.
In Basra, Christian women who wear no head coverings have been warned by Shia militants that if they do not wear the hijab, they will be killed. This month 41-year old Maison Marzouq, a Christian woman, was killed with her 31-year old brother. Their bodies were dumped in a Basra refuse tip. The killings have continued, bringing the number of "un-Islamic" Basran women murdered over the past six months to 48. Read more ...

UNICEF Celebrates Pedophilia
U.S. freelance photographer Stephanie Sinclair poses with her winning photo of the 'UNICEF Photo of the Year 2007' competition in Berlin, Germany, on Monday, Dec. 17, 2007. The photograph shot by U.S. freelance photographer Stephanie Sinclair shows a wedding couple in Afghanistan who could not be more opposite. The groom, Mohammed, looks much older than his 40 years. The bride, Ghulam, is still a child; she just turned 11. Stephanie Sinclair works as a freelance photographer based in Beirut, Lebanon.
"A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate vaginally, but sodomising the child is acceptable. If a man does penetrate and damage the child then, he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl will not count as one of his four permanent wives and the man will not be eligible to marry the girl's sister... It is better for a girl to marry at such a time when she would begin menstruation at her husband's house, rather than her father's home. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven." - Ayatollah Khomeini at his best.

The War on Zionism

Post Annapolis, the Palestinian Authority made it crystal clear that it will never recognize Israel as a "Jewish state". Furthermore, it made it crystal clear that it will not compromise on Jerusalem making it a capital offense to do so. Yet negotiations continue. Either Olmert doesn't believe the PA or what is more likely, he will still cut a deal where Israel is denied that recognition and will divide Jerusalem according to Arab demands.
Do not think for a moment that these entrenched Arab positions are negotiable. They aren't and never have been.
Ever since Theodor Herzl wrote The Jewish State in 1896, the Arabs, with one exception, Faisal ibn Hussein, have opposed it.

On December 29-31, 2007 known terrorist sympathizers and supporters, Islamic Circle of North America(ICNA) and CAIR, will be sponsoring a Young Muslim youth camp at Wekiwa Springs State Park paid for in part with Doc Stamp taxpayer funds.
The United American Committee will be hosting a protest on 12/29 12-3 PM at the entrance of Wekiwa Springs State Park to make the public aware terrorist sympathizers are holding a 3 day camp at one of our State Parks. We urge all Muslims and non-Muslims who are against the terrorist ideology of implementing Sharia (Islamic) Law in the United States to join us.
ICNA makes no secret of their goal to train Muslims to implement a United States of Shari'a and reminds them of "Islam as a universal and eternal way of living for mankind". Yehudit Barsky, a terrorism expert, has said that ICNA "is composed of members of Jamaat e-Islami, a Pakistani Islamic radical organization similar to the Muslim Brotherhood that helped to establish the Taliban."

GROUPS WITH TIES TO TERRORISTS SPONSOR A YOUNG MUSLIM YOUTH CAMP AT WEKIWA SPRINGS
STATE PARK, APOPKA, FLORIDA DECEMBER 29-31
Yaya Abous of ICNA said, “Non- Muslim children are put on an indefinite waiting list and discouraged from attending”
(Orlando, FL) The Central Florida Branch of the United American Committee (UAC) has uncovered information the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) have irrefutable ties to terrorist and terrorist supporting organizations. ICNA and CAIR will be sponsoring a Muslim Youth Camp at Wekiwa State Park on December 29-31, 2007 funded partially by your tax dollars via Doc Stamp revenue.
ICNA currently has deep ties with the Terrorist Group called The Muslim Brotherhood of Pakistan, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). ICNA was the top donor to a JI charity that, just one year ago, provided $99,000 to the head of Hamas, Khaled Mashaal.
CAIR national spokesperson Ibrahim Hooper said, "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future. But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education." (Statement by Ibrahim Hooper, Minneapolis Star Tribune, April 4, 1993)
Randall Todd "Ismail" Royer, a former communications & civil rights specialist for CAIR, according to AP "Royer...admitted helping members of the conspiracy join the militant Pakistani group Lashkar-e-Taiba in the days after the Sept. 11 attacks. He pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting use of a firearm in a crime of violence and aiding and abetting the carrying of an explosive during commission of a felony. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison." When ICNA, CAIR, and Young Muslims congregate at Wekiwa Springs State Park, Apopka, FL, they will be doing so under the guise of moderate, mainstream Muslim organizations, when in fact they are nothing more than support networks for terrorists domestically and overseas.
We plan on making our voice heard at this event. Please join the United American Committee in protesting ICNA, CAIR, and their ties to international terrorism.

Hundreds of Afghan women come together and raise their voices for peace
Hundreds of women gathered on Wednesday in the heart of southern Afghanistan to raise their voices in prayers for peace, The Christian Science Monitor reported.
According to the article: “The idea of women doing anything aside from tending to home and family is fairly shocking in provinces like Kandahar and Helmand, where the ultra-fundamentalist Taliban control most of the countryside. Yet the assembling of an estimated 1,000 women in six southern provinces is a compelling development, women's rights experts say. Read more ...

December 16, 2007 -- Celebrated author Mark Steyn has been summoned to appear before two Canadian judicial panels on charges linked to his book “America Alone."
The book, a No. 1 bestseller in Canada, argues that Western nations are succumbing to an Islamist imperialist threat. The fact that charges based on it are proceeding apace proves his point.
Steyn, who won the 2006 Eric Breindel Journalism Award (co-sponsored by The Post and its parent, News Corp), writes for dozens of publications on several continents. After the Canadian general-interest magazine Maclean's reprinted a chapter from the book, five Muslim law-school students, acting through the auspices of the Canadian Islamic Congress, demanded that the magazine be punished for spreading “hatred and contempt" for Muslims. Will the Real Islam Please Stand Up!
I have been thinking about Aqsa Parvez the last few days.
You remember she is the 16 year old Toronto girl whose father killed her over an argument about whether she should wear her Hijab (Headscarf) in public or not!
Now there are some people who told me they thought is was a religious matter, while others thought it might be social, and still more said it was just a violent father who got carried away.
Whatever the fact of the matter is, the religious angle has received all the attention and further ignited the fire over Islam and violence that occupies so much of the Western mind.
Whether Islam is truly a religion of violence is an academic question and actually beside the point at this stage of the game because it has developed an image in the media and population as being such.
In other words, Islam has one hell of a Public Relations problem here in the West.
I have been reading articles by some leading journalists over the last few days and although they are by varied individuals in both their background and beliefs, a common consensus is developing.
Let me first give a quick quote from my book The Plain Truth About God with a brief summation of the early days of Islam:
They, especially in the West, live a life much the same as their Christian brethren in that their daily lives are centered around family and friends and not dogma and zealousness.
However, because of the silence of this overwhelming majority on the atrocities of the fanatics, there has been a marked perception that all Muslims have at their heart a violent streak that is part of the very nature of this religion.
It is sad, mistaken and troubling, but unfortunately true.
Now, about that common consensus, I would like to quote two columnists who have expressed different but not contradictory opinions on the state of Islam in the West.
Although neither is an Apologist for Islam nor seeking to blatantly condemn it’s followers they have made some observations about Muslims that should be noted!
One is a right wing Christian and the other is a Muslim academic and here is what they have to say.
First the right wing Christian who comments on the killing of Aqsa Parvez and his thoughts on Islam. His name is Michael Coren and he is a broadcaster and writer:
Professor Mansur has more of an insiders view of the situation and his thoughts will hopefully hit home to Muslims in the West and elsewhere.
Your humble author;

Where we run into a problem is that, as in the case of Jesus of Nazareth, there is no actual copy of the Koran that can be said to have come directly from the hands of Mohammad. In spite of any history of Islam we wish to consider, the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of Muslim Practitioners live a peaceful and quiet life that is not tainted by the fervor of the Conservative and Fundamentalist factions.
The earliest written record of the Koran (and the 45 scribes who supposedly documented it) was written in the biography of Mohammad by a certain Ibn Ishaq who wrote Sirat Rasul Allah, (The life of the Prophet of God) about 100 years after the death of the prophet Mohammad!
From this point on, it gets even hazier since there is no actual record of this document as well, but rather, it is extensively quoted in an even later work by al-Tabari who lived close to 200 years after the death of Ibn Ishaq.
Suddenly we have a space of 300 years (close to 1000 C.E.) that cannot be properly documented.
With this in mind we can look back to about 620 C.E. when Mohammad, (or someone like him,) started on a campaign of dominance.
Here in less than 100 years Arab tribesmen, riding on horseback, emerged out of the Arabian deserts to conquer Syria, Mesopotamia, Persia, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya and Spain.
Now the great question we have to ask here is whether the Arab armies were fuelled during their expansion by religious fever; or was the religion “spiced up” during the 350 years where it was not documented properly.
In other words, was this re-vamping of Islam the manipulations of a politically dominant group whose aim was to establish a religious justification for Arab Imperialism? Or was it based on a religion that advocated the expansion of its ideals by force?
Don’t forget, during the first 200 years of this great expansion Arab conquerors were a minority against a vast non-Muslim majority.
Then, once the Arabs had acquired a sizable empire—a coherent religion was necessary in order to hold that empire together. (Note: in the long run, over the centuries, the main purpose of any religion, once it had gone beyond the “sect” stage, was to perpetuate itself and also act as a glue to hold the empire together.)
So once again, was the religion in place and acting as the fuel for Arab hegemony, or was it the glue that was manufactured “after the fact” to hold the whole empire together.
This is a question that will never be properly answered - as it is now lost in the mists of time.
However, we can draw certain inferences from it.
One of the facts that we have to consider is that Islam was bound up in war and aggression from its very inception.
Most Canadian Muslim leaders immediately condemned what had happened but it didn't take very long for the usual suspects to explain on radio and television that the tragedy had nothing to do with the Muslim faith and that all religions contain extremism. And then these thoughts from Salim Mansur, who is a Muslim scholar, Professor at the University of Western Ontario here in London, and a Columnist for the Sun Media Group.
Islam, we were told, is a religion of peace.
Which is probably just what the owner of a Christian bookstore in Gaza thought three months ago as he was murdered and his shop firebombed. Or Danny Pearl, shortly before the American journalist had his head cut off by Islamic terrorists -- who, naturally, filmed the whole thing and made sure their chants from the Koran were loud and clear.
Or the wretched gang-rape victim in Saudi Arabia sentenced to 200 lashes for daring to be in a car at the time of the crime with a man to whom she was not married or related. Or the women stoned to death for adultery. Or the Iranian men hanged because they were homosexual. Or the women who lived and died under the Taliban. Or the Christians persecuted and killed in Pakistan, Egypt and Sudan. Or the young women in France, Britain and all over Europe killed by fathers and brothers for leaving Islam, dressing like other girls or dating non Muslims. Or the teacher who allowed a student to name a teddy bear Muhammad, or Salman Rushdie's translator whose throat was cut from ear to ear, or movie director Theo Van Gogh who was slaughtered like an animal in the middle of a Dutch street.
And on and on. On until the denial is sickening.
It's cultural, it's because of colonialism, it's because of Palestine, because of Iraq, because of misunderstanding. Because of anything other than Islamic Fundamentalists.
Only a bigot would argue that every Muslim was violent or opposed to Western freedom.
But only a coward or a liar would argue that there was not a profound and deeply worrying link between Conservative Fundamentalist Islam and myriad acts of terror, intolerance and hysterical anger.
Professor Mansur has more of an insiders view of the situation and his thoughts will hopefully hit home to Muslims in the West and elsewhere.
The cold-blooded murder of 16-year-old Aqsa Parvez was not like any other crime that cuts across ethnic and faith boundaries, as Muslim apologists in Canada will do their best to characterize it.If nothing else we can surmise that both writers agree there is a problem and both agree that something has to be done about it!
The murder was prompted by an ideology of bigotry and terror masked as a faith-tradition -- an ideology of radical Islamism at war with the modern world of freedom and democracy.
The fear of this perverted ideology and its fanatical promoters silences most Muslims, regardless of their numbers in society, for they fear that speaking out against this ideology might place them in greater jeopardy within their community and with those who claim its leadership.
Then there are Muslim organizations -- such as the Canadian Islamic Congress (CIC) in free societies such as Canada.
Their deafening silence in condemning Muslim violence against Muslims and non-Muslims alike is revealing of their true nature.
These are front organizations for global radical Islamism making apologies for their ideological brethren, and directing polemics against the West for victimizing Muslims and undermining Islam.
Moreover, they are fraudulent in their claims of representing Muslims in general as the CIC does.
The fact is, on the contrary, most Muslims in Canada and elsewhere in the West left their native lands to escape from unmitigated cruelty, heartlessness and hypocrisy of Muslim rulers and religious leaders.
But these organizations are sinister in their objectives of taking full advantage of free societies and subverting their institutions for the purpose of undermining freedom and democracy.
For instance, Canadians have never heard from or witnessed Muslim organizations such as the CIC publicly mobilizing Canadian Muslims in denouncing suicide-bombings, honour killings of hapless women, genocide on display in Darfur and persecution of dissident Muslims in the Arab-Muslim world.
Instead, as fraudsters they have developed the swindler's art of blackmailing free societies as the CIC has done by filing complaints with the Human Rights Commissions (HRC) federally, and in Ontario and British Columbia, against Maclean's magazine and one of its contributors, Mark Steyn.
The complaints are frivolous, claiming Maclean's defamed Canadian Muslims by publishing some writings of Steyn as excerpts from his best-selling book, America Alone.
But the greater frivolity is the HRC's willingness to hear the complaint from an organization whose president, Mohamed Elmasry, is on public record in Canada for the suggestion -- though later retracted under duress -- that Israelis in general over the age of 18 are legitimate targets for Palestinian suicide-bombers.
The murder of Aqsa Parvez and of countless other women among Muslims will continue not merely because Muslims cower in silence in their fear of radical Islamists, but also for the apathy of the Western public and politicians supinely appeasing and accommodating Muslim organizations such as the CIC.
