Tomorrow I am scheduled to speak at the University of Southern California. The focus of my speech will be the genocidal incitement of the prophet Mohammed that calls on Muslims to exterminate the Jews as the condition of their redemption: “The hour of judgment will only come when Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, when the Jews hide behind the rocks and the trees, and the rocks and the trees cry out, ‘O Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’” The sayings of the prophet Mohammed — hadith — were complied 200 years after his death. A reasonable Muslim, a modern Muslim, could easily conclude that this hateful incitement is apocryphal and should be removed from the sacred canon. In fact there is a Turkish commission that has taken up the task of sorting out authentic sayings of the prophet from the inauthentic.
Unfortunately, Turkey has become an Islamofascist state in full-throated support of the war against the Jews and it is too much to expect that the Islamic authorities in Turkey will do anything about this hadith. Worse, this hateful incitement is posted on the official USC website. It was originally put there by the USC Muslim Student Union which, like other organizations affiliated with the Muslim Student Association (MSA) is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, a supporter of the Islamic jihad against the infidels and specifically of its war against the Jews. When we became aware of the offensive posting of this saying of the prophet Mohammed we took steps that led to its removal by the USC provost who called it “disgusting.” The removal was met by a protest from the MSA and other organizations that are part of the terrorist network including the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) who called its removal religious discrimination.
But the USC administration held its ground. Recently, however, the hadith of hate reappeared on the USC website, this time put there by an organization called the Center for Muslim-Jewish Engagement (CMJE).  USC College Republicans have petitioned the USC administration to remove the hadith. Meanwhile, the supporters of Islamic terror at USC — Students for Justice in Palestine and the USC Progressive Alliance (fascist alliance would be more accurate) — have put out hate propaganda against me and are attempting to shut down my speech, thus repeating the war against free speech that the Muslim Brotherhood network conducted two weeks ago at Temple when we presented the film Fitna and Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders. The Progressive Alliance flier consists of a quote attributed to me which is entirely invented. It’s even written in Osama Bin Laden speak (”while having the body of the human being, a Moslem who unquestioningly follows the Quran behaves like a soulless beast.”) and in style alone represents nothing that I have ever written, said or believed. Students for Justice in Palestine put out a similar smear sheet last week which was somewhat more (or is it less?) creative in presenting my alleged positions as the opposite of what I actually believe. I wrote a response to that attack and submitted it to the USC Daily Trojan, which has yet to print it: To USC College Republicans, USC Hillel, USC Students for Justice in Palestine, and anyone concerned: A campus activist by the name of Alex Sham, whose organization is a supporter of genocide against the Jewish state and of the Hamas terrorists and of the general terrorist jihad against Israel and the United States, has sent a malicious slander to Facebook, and apparently intends to conduct a campaign to demonize me in advance of my speech at USC. Sham’s disgraceful post makes a series of ugly charges against me — not a single one of which has any basis in anything I have ever actually said. For example: I have never said that blacks have benefited from slavery or that they should express gratitude for being enslaved. There is no such statement of mine to that effect anywhere which is why Sham does not quote an actual statement of mine but merely makes up what he thinks I said. I have never said that "Muslim student groups are designed to bring jihad to America.” I have made statements about one such group and only one – the Muslim Students Association – which supports annual protests against the very existence of the Jewish state (an act in itself of genocide by any reasonable definition of the term,) and which regularly hosts speakers who support the terrorist jihad against Israel and the West, call for the execution of gays, and support regimes such as the Islamic Republic of Iran which executes gays. I have never made a statement that “blacks slit throats.” I have made one remark about one black — O.J. Simpson — who did slit his wife’s throat. And so on. I am not a racist and I am not an Islamophobe. I have organized protests on more than 100 college campuses against the oppression of Muslim women. I have published booklets against the oppression of Muslim women and I have sponsored panels with Muslim speakers against the oppression of Muslim women.
There are numerous videos of my campus speeches on the web where I can be seen saying that my efforts are not directed against all Muslims but are in fact conducted in behalf of most Muslims against the hijacking of their religion by totalitarian radicals (who are supported by Students for Justice in Palestine.)
It is evil to pretend to speak in the name of all Muslims when you are conducting a campaign of hatred against Jews and gays and other minority groups. In his email, Sham threatens to attack my speech by any means necessary. Presumably this is also a threat by Students for Justice in Palestine whose members at Berkeley and other places have been arrested on campus in the past for breaking the law. This kind of threat is an expression of the fascist mentality for which Students for Justice in Palestine is rightly famous. I hope members of the USC community will appeal to university officials to see that civility and order are maintained around this event, and that Students for Justice in Palestine are put on notice that this kind of anti-intellectual and uncivil behavior is unacceptable.  President Obama appears unwilling to use the word "terror", let alone "Islamic terrorism", when it comes to describing the unceasing series of attacks launched at the behest of a fanatical ideology.In October 2005 President George W. Bush used the term “Islamic fascist” for the first time to describe the Muslim barbarians at war with the West. He denounced them as movements that have a “violent and political vision”, and call for “the establishment... of a totalitarian empire that denies all political and religious freedom.” The Muslim groups which today seek to bring about a global totalitarian empire are not only fascists, but can trace their origins to Nazism and its genocidal ambitions. The ideology of the Islamists whose ranks today include not only al-Qaeda but also Hamas and Hezbollah -- originated with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood. And the Muslim Brotherhood finds not just its roots, but much of its symbolism, terminology, and common cause deep within the origins of Nazism. Hassan al-Banna (1906 - 1949) was born into the family of a poor watchmaker in southern Egypt. As a child, he was attracted to the extremist aspects of Islam, which were hostile to Western secularism and to its system of rights, particularly women's rights. While still in his teens, the young al-Banna and friends (they referred to each other as ‘brethren’) met frequently to discuss the situation in the Middle East, to argue about the ills of Arab society, and to lament the decline of Islam. Their angst was in large part a reaction to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the end of the Muslim Caliphate, the British occupation of Egypt, and the resulting exposure of Arab society to Western values. In order to strike back against these evils, al-Banna founded the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928. Among the perspectives he drew on to address these issues were the anti-capitalist doctrines of European Marxism and especially fascism. The group expanded during the 1930’s as Al-Banna would describe, in inflammatory speeches, the horrors of hell expected for heretics, and consequently, the need for Muslims to return to their purest religious roots, re-establish the Caliphate, and resume the great and final holy war, or jihad, against the non-Muslim world. The first big step on the path to the international jihad came during “The Great Arab Revolt” of 1936-9, when one of the most famous of the Muslim Brotherhood’s leaders, the Hajj Amin al-Husseini, Grand Mufti (Supreme Muslim religious leader) of Jerusalem, incited his followers to a three-year war against the Jews in Palestine and the British who administered the Mandate. By the end of the 1930’s there were more than a half million active members registered, in more than two thousand branches across the Arab world. It was during this time that the Muslim Brotherhood found a soul mate in Nazi Germany. The Reich offered great power connections to the movement, but the relationship brokered by the Brotherhood was more than a marriage of convenience. Long before the war, al-Banna had developed an Islamic religious ideology which previewed Hitler’s Nazism. Both movements sought world conquest and domination. Both were explicitly anti-nationalist in the sense that they believed in the liquidation of the nation-state in favor of a trans-national unifying community: in Islam the umma (community of all believers); and in Nazism the herrenvolk (master race). Both worshipped the unifying totalitarian figure of the Caliph or Führer. And both rabidly hated the Jews and sought their destruction. As the Brotherhood’s political and military alliance with Nazi Germany developed, these parallels facilitated practical interactions created a full-blown alliance, with formal state visits, de facto ambassadors, and overt as well as sub rosa joint ventures. Al-Banna’s followers easily transplanted into the Arab world a newly Nazified form of traditional Muslim Jew-hatred, with Arab translations of Mein Kampf (translated into Arabic as “My Jihad”) and other Nazi anti-Semitic works, including Der Sturmer hate-cartoons, adapted to portray the Jew as the demonic enemy of Allah. The single best known and most active Nazi sympathizer in the Muslim Brotherhood was not al-Banna himself, but the Hajj Amin al-Husseini, Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, and one-time President of the Supreme Muslim Council of Palestine. As one commentator has noted, to understand the Hajj’s influence on the Middle East in the 1930s and 40s is to understand the ongoing genocidal program of the Arab terrorist organizations warring against the Jews of Israel today. Al-Husseini used his office as a powerful bully pulpit from which to preach anti-Jewish, anti-Zionist, and (turning on his patrons) anti-British vitriol. He was directly involved in the organization of the 1929 riots which destroyed the 3000-year-old Jewish community of Hebron. And he was quick to see that he had a natural ally in Hitler and in the rising star of Nazi Germany. As early as the spring of 1933, he assured the German consul in Jerusalem that “the Muslims inside and outside Palestine welcome the new regime of Germany and hope for the extension of the fascist, anti-democratic governmental system to other countries.”

This December 10th will mark the 61st anniversary of the signing of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights. Yet even today, Human Rights violations continue to take place, even where UN peace keeping forces are deployed. Facts about human rights violations that have been documented by peace keeping forces and human rights groups have been stamped "censored" and hidden in a dark corner of a document storage bank. The UN is proving its useless, as ongoing assaults on humanity continue.
The latest genocide is currently taking place in Darfur, and once again perpetrators have a free hand as UN imposed censorship is giving them the sense that no one is watching. Beside the UN's censorship, political excuses over cultural lines and an unwillingness to accept the suffering of others has created a fertile ground to harbor hatred, fanatacism, and impunity in the global society.
As the assault on humanity continues, a group of individuals that have either themselves faced genocide or are the descendants of genocide victims (including unrecognized genocides such as the Armenian genocide, Indian partition genocide, etc.) have decided to come out and cross social, ideological, national, religious, and cultural boundaries to stand up and give shape to a global convention. Initially sponsored by realcourage.org, we now have a few more organizations supporting our mission to hail human rights over other issues.
In our 'Stop Ideological genocide convention', we are not gathering to blame individuals but rather to point out the factors that are giving shape to systemic failures, due to which children are being raised in an environment of hate. Our stand is not against individual identity, but rather on cultures, states, religions, or political identities that eclipse our shared human identity. We see these policies giving shape to human suffering in the 21st century. We're victims as a result of the above, but none of us are bitter. We are however concerned about how politics are taking away the right of people to complete their grieving and start a new life.
Some of these global political policies of providing excuses for the action of perpetrators have not only marginalized the victims, but have also pushed the victims into a vulnerable state. This irresponsible attitude of mainstream politics has opened a totally new chain of global-organized crime in which political parties from all sides can hire global Jihadis to fight for their designated political goals, which can then jeopardize civil society, such as has been observed during theYugoslavian war, Iran-Iraq war, and Afghanistan war, sri-lankan LTTE conflict, or British PIRA conflict.
Further, a designated financial banking system has evolved to fund these genocidal projects, and has penetrated into our democratic system. These concerns and more will be the issues covered by speakers, experts and victims involved directly, and will reveal the realities on the ground.

 There is no discussing Islam without discussing the Moderate Muslim. Like the Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus, the Moderate Muslim is often a topic of conversation, but rarely has much to say about himself. And even those who note that the Moderate Muslim is somewhat less in evidence than the Dodo or the Mammoth, turn instead to the project of reforming Islam. It is of course possible to reform Islam. It is also possible to reform a serial killer. It is however not likely, and certainly not safe to stake your serial-killer prevention strategy on letting the serial killer run free, while you try and talk to him about the virtues of not cutting off people's heads and wearing their skin.
For over a thousand years Islam has been the serial killer of world civilization, decimating entire cultures and religions, practicing ethnic cleansing, genocide, terrorism and endless war.
Islam is currently involved directly or indirectly in conflicts or terrorism on virtually every continent.
Modern Islamist movements have fused the modern tools of war from IED's to Lawfare to Social Media, with ancient fanatical beliefs blended with the leavings of National Socialism and Communism to create a global killing machine.
Now how do you go about reforming something like that? A rational proposal for reforming Islam must first begin by asking why proposals to reform Islam have gotten nowhere before.
The simple answer is that it's because the unreformed version of Islam is far too success for there to be much of a market for a reformed version. Al Capone wasn't interested in reform when he was shoveling in money hand over fist. The old blood and guts version of Islam is doing better than ever around the world, more so than any pale reformed versions.
The Wahhabis have shown that it's possible to live in America or the UK, get a degree as a doctor, preach terrorism and still get educated at the infidel's expense.
The infidels will then fast during Ramadan to avoid offending you, ignore your incitement to violence and look the other way when you send money to terrorists. They will draw the line when you actually open fire or set off a car bomb-- but not to the extent of looking at your mosque or at Islam itself.
If you can be an Islamic extremist while finding career success in the West. If you can be an Islamic extremist and get an invitation to the White House or 10 Downing Street. If you can be an Islamic extremist and still have liberals compete to defend you and promote your agenda-- what possible reason is there for reform?
Non-Muslims may want Islam to reform, but why would Muslims want Islam to reform? The key to answering that question is also the key to reforming Islam. Right now Muslims, particularly those in the West, have very little incentive to reform Islam.
And you can thank the Cult of Tolerance and its ugly sibling, Political Correctness for that. If anything, violence and extremism has actually made Islam more successful by intimidating and extracting more concessions from the Dar Al Harb.
 BOSNIAN Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic won a small victory in a battle of wills with UN court judges when they adjourned his genocide trial to March next year, legal analysts have said. While the judges opted to impose a lawyer on Karadzic, who has boycotted his trial since it started on October 26, they did not strip him of the right to conduct his own defence and effectively gave him more time to prepare - exactly what he was after. "This is an indirect way of giving Karadzic a bit more time to prepare his case," while trying to minimise further interruptions, Willem van Genugten, international law professor at the Netherlands' Tilburg University, told AFP. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Thursday ordered the imposition of a defence lawyer on Karadzic and adjourned his genocide trial to March 1, 2010. Karadzic, 64, has refused to attend his trial since it opened in The Hague nearly two weeks ago, insisting on more time to prepare his defence, which he is conducting himself with the backing of about 20 legal advisers, many of them volunteers. Karadzic stands charged with 11 counts of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity for his role in the 1992-95 Bosnian war in which some 100,000 people died and 2.2 million were forced to flee their homes. The judges warned that Karadzic would lose his right to self-representation should he continue his boycott when the trial resumes in which case the court-assigned lawyer would take over. "After several warnings (ignored by Karadzic), the tribunal had to send out a serious message if it didn't want to lose credibility," said Professor Van Genugten. In Thursday's decision the judges said Karadzic had "substantially and persistently obstructed" the proceedings and "effectively brought the trial to a halt". There have only been two days of trial hearings to date, both used for the opening statement of the prosecutor who urged the court not to allow Karadzic's antics to dictate the trial schedule. "The judges were looking for a compromise to end the impasse," said Harmen van der Wilt, international law professor at the University of Amsterdam. "They had to show that they retain the control, that they won't be held hostage, all the while trying to cooperate with the accused," he said. According to Xavier Tracol, a former ICTY prosecutor, Karadzic "has won a battle but not the war". "His objective is to hold the tribunal hostage. Winning time is one way of achieving that." Karadzic, who denies all charges, risks life in jail on accusations that he orchestrated the mass killing of Muslims and Croats in pursuit of a "Greater Serbia" that was to include 60 per cent of Bosnia's territory. Marko Sladojevic, one of Karadzic's legal advisers, said that his client had not yet decided whether he would appeal but would "take a constructive approach and will try to find a compromise that will satisfy all sides involved". Arrested on a Belgrade bus in July last year after 13 years on the run, Karadzic faces charges over the massacre of 7000 Muslims at Srebrenica and the 44-month siege of Sarajevo that killed some 10,000 people. "I am glad that they imposed a lawyer, on him, I hope it will prevent him to manipulate the trial," Srebrenica survivor Munira Subasic told AFP. "It is painful for us to see how his every wish is granted, almost as if they fear not to hurt his feelings. But we will continue to fight for justice, we will testify against him, we will pursue justice with all available means."  THE HAGUE, Netherlands — Radovan Karadzic orchestrated the 1995 Srebrenica massacre of 8,000 Muslim men and boys and his only regret was "that some Muslim men got away," a U.N. prosecutor said Monday at the former Bosnian Serb leader's war crimes trial. Karadzic again boycotted his own trial at the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal on Monday, but pledged in a letter to judges that he would attend a procedural hearing Tuesday on his defense case. Prosecutor Alan Tieger focused on Europe's worst atrocity since World War II as he wound up his opening statement Monday for the tribunal's judges. Tieger called the July 1995 slaying in Srebrenica "one of humanity's dark chapters" and laid the blame squarely at Karadzic's feet. "The murder of these men and the expulsion of the women, children and elderly did not arise from nowhere," Tieger said. "These crimes were the culmination of the accused's determination to cleanse eastern Bosnia to ensure the Serb state he envisioned." Karadzic is charged with two counts of genocide and nine other crimes against humanity and war crimes linked to atrocities throughout Bosnia's 1992-95 war. He has refused to enter pleas, but insists he is innocent. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Karadzic's boycott of the trial last week frustrated dozens of war survivors — many of them widows from Srebrenica — who had traveled hundreds of miles (kilometers) by bus to see him face justice after 13 years on the run.  ISLAMABAD: Peshawar-based Mustafa Kamal has had enough: he has just got his12-year-old son freed from a band of criminals in the lawless tribal area of Khyber agency by paying a ransom. He has left a lucrative job with Pakistan's telecommunication department and now has the immigartion papers for Canada ready for his entire family.
``I'm lucky to have found my son alive. But I won't take any more risk. Life has become extremely dangerous — it's not worth living here. Enough'senough,'' says Kamal.
For a country badly bloodied by a wave of suicide attacks (at least eight this month alone), the next tragedy appears to be collapse of governance. The Pakistani state is pitted against a wide array of militant groups across the country in a situation teetering on the brink of a civil war. And the chasm between the government and the people seems to be growing by the day.
The popular perception is that Pakistan is fighting the US war against terror. Many people in the lawless North West Frontier Province say Pakistan has been sold to the US piece by piece. Under coercion, they argue, Pakistan has started a war that has consumed its economy, national security, and has torn apart its social fabric.
``Our national integrity is at risk. I wish not to see the end of Pakistan in my lifetime. It is not yet too late for Pakistan to return from the precipice of national suicide. Pakistan must take a u-turn and preempt the civil war. Pakistan must say an emphatic no to the US,'' says Rabnawaz Khan, a former Pakistani diplomat, stressing that an internally torn Pakistan does not weaken but strengthens militants.
The civil unrest has spilled into many parts, giving rise to fear psychosis among citizens. So much so that when twin blasts rocked Islamabad's Islamic University on October 20, many did not believe that it was militants' handiwork. Instead, they blamed ``indistinct forces out to discredit Islam or weaken Pakistan''.
That attack led the authorities to take an unprecedented step of closing down all schools, colleges and other training institutions in the country. ``The law and order situation has only worsened since the military operations against the Taliban started. How can we believe that things will normalize by carrying out a big operation in Waziristan? I think the repercussions are going to be more blasts and suicide attacks,'' said Palwasha Zia, a third year student of Home Economics in Peshawar.
``People are very scared. Every time I go to market, I worry about blasts. We are being targeted and our life has become very difficult. We are hoping the situation will get better. What else can we do?'' says Shaheen Akhtar, a deputy provost of Peshawar University.
October has been the cruelest month. Militants have struck UN offices, police buildings, army headquarters in Rawalpindi and ambushed security forces. The government response has been on expected lines: it swiftly sent troops to battle the entrenched militants in trouble-torn South Waziristan and beefed up security in all major cities. Reportedly, there were at least 72 check posts at entry and exit points around sensitive installations in Islamabad before these attacks. Now, the check points have been increased up to 300 in the federal capital.
Has it helped? Margalla Road, the most expensive and posh area of Islamabad, has almost been turned into a fortress, with concrete barricades, security pickets and barbed wires installed in most of the places. The residents say driving inside the capital has become extremely difficult as they are checked several times a day during routine work. ``Establishing security pickets in residential areas and check points have not resolved the issue of law and order; rather the situation has further deteriorated,'' said a traffic police official in Islamabad's Blue area, wishing not to be named.
Just two days after the attack on Islamic university that killed seven people, suspected militants shot dead a senior Pakistani army officer of brigadier rank and a soldier in Islamabad on Wednesday, suggesting militants are shifting tactics in the face of a sweeping army drive in their South Waziristan stronghold.
``First, it was Peshawar. Then Islamabad and Karachi, and now Lahore and Rawalpindi. When you live in a place which is under threat of continuous attacks, you'll have to think twice before you step out of your house. The scare among people is visible — there are fewer people out on streets,'' says Mujeeb-ur Rehman, a news anchor in Islamabad-based TV station.
The frequent terror attacks have greatly damaged the business climate. Nasir Dawood, who ran a boutique shop in Rawalpindi's Raja Bazaar till last week has finally shut shop. ``My business was badly damaged in the last one year. Scared customers don't come for shopping. To avoid any further losses, I had no option,'' Nasir said.
Habibullah Zahid, another businessman who owns four restaurants in Peshawar, has shifted his family to Islamabad to escape the constant threats of militants. ``Though my business was affected, I left Peshawar due to threats to my life. A group of militants or criminals in the Khyber tribal area has made it a habit to make threatening calls, demanding money in millions. I could no more give in to their demands,'' says Zahid. In a September 29th report in the Washington Post, Major General Scott Gration, the US Special Envoy for Sudan, stated that he plans to implement a “normative” relations policy to solve the Darfur crisis with the only war-crime indicted President in the world, Omar Al-Bashir. Gration believes that positive cooperation with the Sudanese government is the best way to end the genocide: “We've got to think about giving out cookies. Kids, countries, they react to gold stars, smiley faces, handshakes, agreements, talk,” Gration stated.
The Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy is extremely saddened by Gration’s proposal and naïve remarks about Darfur and the Sudanese government. It is clear that Gration and the Obama administration fail to realize or choose to ignore the severity of the genocide and rampant corruption within the Sudanese government. As fellow Darfur activist John Prendergast bluntly criticized Gration in the report, “They [The Sudanese Government] do not respond to nice guys [like Gration] coming over and saying, 'We have to be a good guest…they eat these people for dinner.”
It appears that Gration and the Obama administration have no plans to hold the Sudanese government and President Omar Al-Bashir accountable for their crimes against humanity-killing more than 450,000 innocent people thus far. As Gration begins his normative relations process with ICC-indicted Bashir, countless Darfuris will continue to be killed, detained, and raped while their villages, from Jabel Mara to Kornoy to El-geneina on the western border, are pillaged and destroyed. It is obvious now that Gration, who denied a full-fledged Darfuri genocide and merely called it “a remnant genocide," is paving the way for the Sudanese government to escape accountability and punishment for their crimes against humanity; it is shame that the U.S. seems to be working for the criminal government rather than protecting the victims of Darfur.
Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy strongly condemns Gration’s naïve and unfair policy and strongly urges the following actions to be implemented:
- Immediately act to reconsider this policy before any serious implementation occurs.
- Replace Gration with a strong, honest, and effective new envoy for Sudan.
- Terminate U.S. relations with the Sudanese government to protect the rights of Darfuris.
- Arrest Al-Bashir and the associated Sudanese government officials and transport them to the ICC before any peace negotiations take place.
- Suspend elections in Sudan until all refugees are returned, their villages rebuilt, and the Janjaweed settlers are evacuated.
- Fully deploy the promised 26,000 UN Peace keepers with helicopters and associated financial and logistical resources to fully protect the Darfuri refugees.
- Enact a non-fly zone over Darfur to protect innocent Darfuris from Sudanese aircraft bombings.
-Disarm the Janjaweed Arab militias immediately.

 Saddam Hussein killed more Arabs and Muslims than any other Middle Eastern leader in recent history.
He committed genocide against the Kurds, launched wars of aggression against Iran and Kuwait, launched missiles at Israel and Saudi Arabia, tortured innocents without compunction and imposed totalitarianism in Iraq.
His regime brought unprecedented war, terror and misery to the region. Why, then, does the Butcher of Baghdad remain such a heroic figure to so many Arabs?
Two decades ago, famed historian Bernard Lewis wrote a prescient piece in The Wall Street Journal titled "Not everybody hates Saddam" in which he examined the pro-Saddam narrative of some Arabs. Since then, not much has changed. On a recent trip to Amman, I asked dozens of Jordanians how they felt about the dictator. Tragically, though not surprisingly, Saddam still has a great many fans in the Arab world. Nearly every single Jordanian I spoke with had high praise for the deceased tyrant. "He gave us free oil," said one. "He stood up to the West," opined another. One cab driver, who had pins with Saddam's picture covering his dashboard, informed me that Saddam was the greatest leader in the Middle East - "Only he was capable of keeping order in Iraq." TWO PREDOMINANT themes emerged in all my conversations. First, Saddam was seen as the leader of resistance to America and Israel. He fought two wars against America in slightly over a decade and launched dozens of Scud missiles at Israel while other nations stood by.
Second, he imposed order in Iraq. True, it was an order of rape, pillage and plunder, but at least it was order. Prizing stability over liberty is the root of so many of the region's ills. In Arab societies, one quickly realizes that anything can be excused in the name of opposing the West. Some in the Jordanian public had high praise for al-Qaida, for example, when it was hijacking planes and bombing American civilians, but support for the group dropped dramatically once it struck in Amman in 2005. Most Jordanians also never felt the sheer terror of Saddam's regime. They were never suffocated by sarin and VX nerve gas raining down from the skies, never had to flee from helicopter gunships mowing down innocents by the tens of thousands and never had to worry that Uday Hussein, the notorious rapist, would take a liking to their daughter while prowling the streets. Infuriated by the adulation I heard for Saddam, I asked a friend who had served as chief of staff to one of Iraq's highest politicians to help make sense of this madness.  Hamas slammed the United Nations Sunday, saying the organization planned to teach Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip about the Holocaust, but the UN agency which runs schools in the enclave would not confirm any change, Reuters reported. Calling the Nazi genocide of the Jews "a lie invented by the Zionists," Hamas wrote in an open letter to a senior UN official that he should withdraw plans for a new history book in the UN schools. A spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which educates some 200,000 refugee children in Gaza, said the Holocaust was not on its current curriculum. He would not comment on Hamas's statement that it was about to change, Reuters said. Hamas said it believed UNRWA was about to start using a text for 13-year-olds that included a chapter on the Holocaust. In an open letter to local UNRWA chief John Ging, the movement's Popular Committees for Refugees said: "We refuse to let our children study a lie invented by the Zionists." UNRWA spokesman Adnan Abu Hasna said: "There is no mention of the Holocaust in the current syllabus." Asked if UNRWA planned to change that, he declined to comment. Comparing the Jews (in general) to Nazis should be ostracized, not criminalized. And, as reality shows, some of the Jews do behave like the Nazis. Today I posted an article by The Investigative Project, " Hizb ut-Tahrir: Shariah Takes Precedence over U.S. Constitution," on Facebook. Shortly thereafter, the article was reposted by another Facebook user, " Yehuda Israeli Pride." Yet another Facebook user, " Nick Deloite," made the following comment: " Nuke all muslim ..." The next comment by " Yehuda Israeli Pride" read: " Agreed!" Unfortunately, by the time I made the screenshot, " Yehuda Israeli Pride" had deleted his/her comment, so you're gonna have to take my word for it. It is safe to assume that both of the aforementioned Facebook users are Jewish since one has a Star of David on his/her account image plus the name " Yehuda Israeli Pride" and the other has an Israeli flag on his account image. So what do we have here? We have a case of two Jews calling for genocide of Muslims. Well, technically one is calling for the genocide and the other enthusiastically agrees. Do they exhibit Nazi-like behavior? Absolutely! Should I be criminalized or even ostracized for calling them Nazis? Are the Jews above reproach? I really don't think so.  In Istanbul, Turkish protesters burned the Chinese flag at a rally | Turkey's prime minister has described ethnic violence in China's Xinjiang region as "a kind of genocide". "There is no other way of commenting on this event," Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. He spoke after a night-time curfew was reimposed in Xinjiang's capital, Urumqi, where Muslim Uighurs and Han Chinese clashed last Sunday. The death toll from the violence there has now risen from 156 to 184, China's state-run Xinhua news agency reports. More than 1,000 people were injured. Turkey, a predominantly Muslim country, shares linguistic and religious links with the Uighurs in China's western-most region. "The event taking place in China is a kind of genocide," Mr Erdogan told reporters in Turkey's capital, Ankara. "There are atrocities there, hundreds of people have been killed and 1,000 hurt. We have difficulty understanding how China's leadership can remain a spectator in the face of these events." The Turkish premier also urged Beijing to "address the question of human rights and do what is necessary to prosecute the guilty". Coloro che sono stati favoriti, non versino ciò che è stato loro accordato ai loro Schiavi, al punto che questi diventino loro eguali. Negheranno loro i Benefici di AlLah?’ (Surah delle Api, 16:71) - ‘AlLah propone in Parabola un Servitore che, in Schiavitù, è senza Potere, e un uomo (libero) al quale noi abbiamo fornito delle belle Risorse, che egli offre in segreto e pubblicamente. Fu dopo il Matrimonio del Profeta con Maymûnah (con cui salì a 9 mogli … ‘Aishah, Sawdah, Umm Habîbah, Hafsah, Umm Salamah, Zaynab bint Jahsh, Juwayriyyah, Safiyyah e Maymûnah), che il versetto seguente fu ‘rivelato’ a Mohammad: ‘Non è più permesso di cambiare spose e nemmeno di prendere altre mogli, oltre alle tue Schiave, anche se sei affascinato dalla Bellezza di alcune fra loro. Dio vede perfettamente tutte le Cose.’ (Surah delle Fazioni, versetto 52)
Dopo di ciò, il Profeta non si sposò mai più. Ciò nonostante, quando un Sovrano cristiano o il Muqawqis egiziano gli inviò due donne Schiave (7. anno dopo l’Hegira), le quali erano sorelle, quali Regalo (in risposta ad una Lettera del Profeta che li invitata ad abbracciare l’Islam), accompagnate da un bell’abito e da qualche Medicamento, il Profeta accettò una delle due donne, Maria, a casa sua: regalò sua sorella Serena ad un uomo che desiderava onorare, ovvero Hassân Ibn Thâbit.

Shouldn't the UN be promoting human rights instead of racism as the organization's integrity takes a pounding?
 The United Nations enjoys what is known as the "halo effect", whereby, because of its supposed humanitarian focus and promotion of universal values, it is insulated from scrutiny and is regarded as above reproach by the media, which often holds international bodies such as the UN to be a reference and a guiding moral light.
HonestReporting has regularly attempted to redress the balance, focusing on some of the long list of discriminatory actions by the UN against Israel and highlighting shortcomings within the international organization that the media failed to cover. -

The UN's incorrect public pronouncements however, were responsible for letting the story turn into another anti-Israel libel.
In October 2008, HonestReporting updated you on the preparations for the Durban Review Conference currently taking place in Geneva, Switzerland. Led by a committee consisting of human rights violators such as Libya, Iran and Cuba, the writing was already on the wall for Durban 2.  But is the "halo effect" starting to dissipate? While those countries that staged a walk-out during Ahmadinejad's vitriol are to be commended, many media outlets, particularly outside of the US and Canada, which decided to boycott the conference in its totality, have failed to grasp the significance of the final conference communique, which has been signed earlier than expected on Tuesday instead of the end of the week to avoid further controversies. For, as the New York Times states: While there have been improvements in the communique, as now written, it would affirm the conclusions of the last one, implicitly still singling out Israel. The United Nations conference can never have credibility, or value, if it is used to attack one country — Israel — especially when so many other countries have truly abysmal human rights records, including China, Sudan and Iran. In stark contrast to the UN's tarnished integrity, The Australian noted that Australia's quest for a temporary seat on the Security Council could be damaged by its boycott of Durban 2. However, in stark contrast to the UN's tarnished integrity, the paper concluded: Before Durban II, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, said participants would "be judged harshly" if the conference failed. So they will be. Some nations, rightly, walked out as the Iranian President spoke. Whatever the cost of our non-participation in terms of votes for the Security Council, Australia was right to have no part of it. Predictably, although there was almost wall-to-wall condemnation of Ahmadinejad, some media outlets expressed regret that his appearance had perhaps vindicated Israel's concerns. The Guardian wrote: It makes whatever desire there is within the UN to investigate allegations of Israeli war crimes in Gaza that much harder to realise, as the UN as a whole is tainted by the Iranian leader's presence at one conference. Other UK papers, such as The Times and Daily Telegraph admonished the British government for attending Durban 2 even before Ahmadinejad's outburst. (See HonestReporting UK for more details.) Sadly, as Gerald Steinberg in the Wall Street Journal points out: Once again, the obsessive focus on the Jewish state meant that the real problems of racism and genocide were largely ignored at this U.N. conference. Only outside the official U.N. antiracism conference, at well-attended "counterconferences" organized by NGOs such as U.N. Watch, did the real victims of racism and mass murder get the attention they deserved. Only at those counterconferences could one witness moving presentations by victims of Iranian oppression, survivors of the Rwandan genocide and the continuing slaughter in Darfur. At its summit last week in Qatar, the Arab League decisively rejected the International Criminal Court’s indictment of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. “We emphasis our solidarity with Sudan and our dismissal and rejection of the decision handed down by the International Criminal Court,” read the Arab League communiqué. It is worth exploring with what exactly the Arab League is expressing solidarity. Al-Bashir has overseen the genocidal campaign of the government-backed Janjaweed militias in the Darfur region of western Sudan, in which 400,000 people have been killed and over 2,500,000 left homeless. Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption. The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers.
