The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" (Hezbollah) parliamentary bloc, MP Mohammad Raad met with a visiting delegation of British senators headed by counterpart Andrew Love on Thursday, as part of the recent contacts between Hezbollah and British officials.
"The talks covered the situation in Lebanon and the region in addition to ongoing efforts to form a government of national unity," said a brief statement issued by both sides after the meeting.
The statement added that both sides agreed to "continue dialogue on issues of common interest".
Last week, Raad held two-hour talks with British Ambassador to Lebanon Mary Frances Guy to pave the way for Thursday's meeting.
