Recipe for Third World and West

In a brilliant account of medieval Europe, William Manchester provided a glimpse in A World Only Lit By Fire of how nearly six centuries of what is known as the Dark Ages engulfed a continent.
Rome, as the proud city of the ancient world, was not simply overwhelmed by the swarming hordes of barbarians from the east, but a civilization long in the making swiftly was ruined. It was undone from within by a population that lost its sense of purpose while forgetting its history, and a ruling elite corrupted by self indulgence beyond repair.
The West, as was ancient Rome, is besieged, and those encircling the West at present make no pretence of their intent to tear it down as reparation for past sins that occurred in the making of the modern world.
But the swarming hordes of the anti-West axis -- unlike those that overran Rome and its empire -- do not gather at the frontiers of the West. Instead they assemble within the modern day temple of rank hypocrisy, the United Nations, and from there launch their assault against the civilization whose wonders they greedily seek, as did their barbarian predecessors invading Rome.
The UN conference on racism in Geneva, Switzerland is the modern day effort of an increasingly supine West at negotiating the price for being left alone by the rapacious thuggish leaders of failed and rogue states of the Third World.
It is the weakening of the West's moral centre -- the abject unwillingness to defend its history which on balance has given the longest lease on freedom and prosperity to the world -- that was on display in Geneva.
The spectacle of several European diplomats walking out of the conference hall in Geneva as Iran's President Ahmadinejad delivered his vile anti-Semitic anti-western rant, illustrated the pathetic disarray of Europe's frantic diplomacy to negotiate a face-saving agreement with the world's worst human rights violators.
The West ironically needs reminding itself of Marx's words, "the country that is more developed industrially only shows, to the less developed, the image of its own future." And in Communist Manifesto, Marx and Engels celebrated the advance of capitalism over all previous systems of economic activity.
Instead of hosting such fraudulent conferences as Durban II in Geneva, it is time the West demonstrated its moral authority by demanding from the likes of Ahmadinejad and his anti-West allies to answer why they have denied their people freedom to fully embrace the proven model for prosperity that is the West.
In respect to Israel, it is a beacon of modern enlightenment restored to its ancient home and a reflecting mirror in which the Arab-Muslim world sees daily its appalling failure as a civilization that once merited respect.
AHMADINEJAD'S RAGE
Moreover, the intensity of the anti-Semitic rage that Ahmadinejad displayed in Geneva serves the Arab-Muslim rulers to hold others responsible for their people's misery.
The Third World needs more of the West despite its flaws -- ask the Chinese and the Indians -- if their poor are to escape the oppressiveness of their traditional cultures.
The West needs to recover urgently its moral centre for it is only moral criterion -- as once Alexander Solzhenitsyn counselled the West against communism -- which can help contain and defeat the contemporary enemies of freedom.

ONU – Conferenza sul Razzismo (Durban 2) - L’Occidente deve ritrovare una Leadership morale, di Salim Mansur

« È l’indebolimento della fibra morale dell’Occidente, il suo rifiuto abietto di difendere la sua Storia – che dopo tutto ha dato al Mondo il suo respiro di Libertà e Prosperità più lungo – che è stato messo in evidenza a Ginevra. L’Occidente deve in tutta urgenza ritrovare i suoi punti di riferimento morali, poiché solo la Leadership morale – secondo il consiglio già dato all’Occidente contro il Comunismo da Alexandre Soljenitsyne – può aiutare a contenere e a vincere i Nemici contemporanei della Libertà ».
Il grande Storico britannico Arnold Toynbee ha scritto : « Le Civiltà muoiono per Suicidio, non per Assassinio ». Tornando alla Conferenza dell’ONU contro il Razzismo, detta Durban 2, che si è recentemente tenuta a Ginevra, Salim Mansour invita l’Occidente a prendere coscienza dei suoi slanci suicidali, e a raddrizzarsi.

Nel suo libro (Un Mondo s’illumina con un’incendio) A World Only Lit By Fire, lo Storico William Manchester spiega splendidamente come un Continente sia stato inghiottito in quel che è conosciuto come i Secoli bui.
Oltre che Roma, la fiera Città del Mondo antico, che è stata invasa da orde di barbari provenienti dall’Est, c’è anche un’antica Civiltà che è andata rapidamente in rovina. È stata distrutta dall’interno da parte di una popolazione che aveva perduto i suoi punti fermi e aveva dimenticato la sua Storia, come pure da parte di una Classe dirigente corrotta da un’irrimediabile compiacenza verso sé stessa.
L’Occidente, come la Roma antica, è assediato, e coloro che Oggi l’accerchiano palesano il loro intento di distruggerlo, quale riparazione per gli sbagli passati, commessi nella costruzione del Mondo moderno.
Ma a differenza dei barbari che hanno invaso Roma e il suo Impero, le Orde brulicanti dell’Asse anti-occidentale si riuniscono lontano dalle sue Frontiere. Si riuniscono piuttosto in questo ‘tempio moderno dell’impostura che è l’Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite’ ( ce temple moderne de l’imposture qu’est l’Organisation des Nations Unies ), da dove esse lanciano i loro Attacchi contro la Civiltà di cui esse desiderano le meraviglie con avidità, così come già fatto dai barbari che hanno invaso Roma.
La Conferenza ONU sul Razzismo a Ginevra, Svizzera, rappresenta lo sforzo moderno di un Occidente che s’inginocchia davanti ai Leaders rapaci degli Stati canaglia del Terzo mondo, ai quali ci si affretta a fare delle concessioni come prezzo da pagare per evitare d’essere importunati.
È l’indebolimento della fibra morale dell’Occidente – il suo rifiuto abbietto di difendere la sua Storia, che, tutto ben considerato, a dato al Mondo il suo più lungo respiro di Libertà e Prosperità – che è stato messo in evidenza a Ginevra.
Lo spettacolo di svariati Diplomatici europei che uscivano dalla sala della Conferenza mentre il Presidente Ahmadinejad dell’Iran consegnava la sua ignobile diatriba antisemita e anti-occidentale, ha mostrato il patetico scompiglio di una Diplomazia europea freneticamente desiderosa di negoziare un Accordo per salvare la faccia di fronte ai peggiori violatori dei Diritti umani al Mondo.
L’ironia è che l’Occidente ha bisogno di ricordarsi le parole di Marx: « I Paesi più sviluppati sul piano industriale mostrano ai Paesi meno sviluppati l’immagine del loro proprio Avvenire. » E ne Il Manifesto del Partito comunista, Marx e Engels hanno celebrato il Progresso del Capitalismo in rapporto ai Sistemi d’Attività economica precedenti.
Al posto d’accogliere delle Conferenze ipocrite come Durban 2 a Ginevra, è tempo che l’Occidente dia prova della sua Autorità morale esigendo dagli Ahmadinejad di questo Mondo e dai loro Alleati anti-Occidente, che spieghino perché hanno privato il loro popolo della Libertà d’adottare pienamente il Modello sperimentato di Prosperità che è l’Occidente.
Per quel che concerne Israele, è un Modello di Nazione illuminato, ritornato nel suo Focolare storico, ed uno specchio che rinvia quotidianamente al mondo arabo-islamico l’immagine del suo spaventoso scacco come Civiltà un tempo degna di rispetto.
Inoltre, l’intensa Rabbia antisemita che Ahmadinejad ha mostrato a Ginevra, serve ai Dirigenti arabo-islamici per imputare a Terzi la Responsabilità della Miseria della loro popolazione.
Il Terzo mondo ha bisogno di più d’Occidente, malgrado i suoi difetti – domandate ai cinesi e agli indiani – se vuole liberare i suoi poveri dall’Oppressione delle loro Culture tradizionali.
L’Occidente deve in tutta urgenza ritrovare i sui punti fermi morali, poiché soltanto la Leadership morale – secondo il consiglio già dato all’Occidente contro il Comunismo da parte di Alexandre Soljenitsyne – può aiutare a contenere e a vincere i Nemici contemporanei della Libertà.
