Tehran, May 18, IRNA -- Imam Muhammad Al-Asi, the Imam (leader) who formerly led the prayers at the Islamic Center of Washington, said here Monday that people from all over the world should be encouraged to go to Palestine to step up the Palestinian struggle.
Speaking at the Fourth General Convention of the International Union of NGOs Supporting Palestinian Rights, Al-Asi said, "Encourage peoples from all over the world to go to Palestine; and if that is not possible to go to Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan, or Syria."
He also called for the establishment of a radio station and/or a satellite TV channel devoted solely to the Palestinian cause....
He asked for the integration or at least coordination of strategies of Islamic Resistance in Palestine with the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.
He said, "Establish a Palestinian genocide memorial in the capitals of selected countries of Europe and the Americas." Read more ...
